Which phones sync well with iSync?

MY cell service is through Verizon. Who has
experience with a phone from them that syncs the
phones phone book to my macs address book? How well
does this work? Also is iSync the best software to
backup my phone numbers? Thanks, Steve.
I don't know what phone Verizon offers but I can tell you both of my Sony Ericsson T610 and K700 syncs perfectly with iSync.
No problem what-so-ever.
If iSync 100% works with your phone, I think iSync is simply the best.
BTW, I have problem with my new RAZR V3 with iSync.

I just purchased a Nokia 6102i from Cingular after their sales lady said the phone worked with iSync. I told her I didn't see the model listed on the Apple iSync supported phones web page, but she said not to worry. Well, the phone just arrived and when I tried to iSync it with my Address Book, I'm getting an iSync window saying: "This device is not supported by ISnyc."
No big deal, I'll just return the phone, but next attempt, I want to get a model from Cingular that works well with iSync. Can anyone advise me? Perhaps a Razor, but what I might really want is a smart phone.

I can answer the last part of that question. I'm disappointed the Nokia 6102i will not transmit photos via bluetooth to my Mac. iSyncing addresses and calendar works like a champ, just not sending photos (and I suppose other files) from the phone. However, on my MBP, I can open up the Bluetooth File Exchange program and both get the 6102i pics, as well as send photos to the phone. So, not bad, there is a work around.

Lyleb64687719 have you utilized the steps listed in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html to verify the Creative Suite 6 version was not available? What type of a Creative Cloud membership do you have?
You can also download the Creative Suite 6 installation files from Download CS6 products. Installing any of the applications or suites which include Bridge CS6 should allow Bridge CS6 to install.

No DV port in camcorder. Just a yellow AV port/hole. I did find a Canopus ADVC110 device in a box that was bought several years ago to convert VHS tapes onto DVD's. Can I use this with a Mac? Could I connect a dvd player to the Canopus and transfer the disks onto my Mac? Or, connect the camcorder via AV port to the Canopus and that to the Mac and transfer that way? Thanks again!

Why won't latest iTunes sync well with latest iPhoto albums?

After doing extensive updates of iOS, iTunes and iPhoto today, iTunes now can't see all the photos in some iPhoto albums when syncing my iPhone 4S.

Often, this problem can be fixed if you locate and remove the iPod Photo Cache folder(s). A new one will be recreated the next time you sync Photos with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Deleting this folder will not remove the original images from your library.

Can this phone sync perfectly with Entourage notes, Cal, tasks & contacts

Anyone know if you can perfectly sync perfectly with Entourage notes, Cal, tasks & contacts so I can bin my Blackberry?
I use my notes extensively to write long memos whist I am out and about and I need it to sync them perfectly with Entourage.
I think there is some kind of work around with ical etc or something but I have the feeling that notes won't work as there isn't an app for ths capable of handling notes in this way from Entourage.
If anyone can prove me wrong, I'd like to know.

How do you sync N80 with iSync

I am trying to sync the Nokia N80 I can see that the Nokia N70 and N90 etc are supported, However I get "this device is not supportedby iSync" message. Can anyone tell me how I can get iSync working with the N80 or can someone tell me when my new phone will be supported. I have iSync 2.2 installed

No, iSync doesn't sync Stickies. There's also no Notes application. Notes are synced from the Notes field of Address Book contacts to phones that have an appropriate field to sync to.

IOS 6.1 not syncing well with my car via usb

Since I updated my iPhone 4 to ios 6.1, when playing music in my car via usb, I don't see the title of the song on the car display, whenever I plug it in to the usb, it changes the song. I cannot control the iPhone through the car stereo controls. The song and playlists appear on the iPhone itself, prior to the update, when the phone was plugged in via usb, I had to control it through the car stereo controls and the songs would not be displayed on the iPhone.

I have this issue as well. 6.0 worked great, 6.1 doesn't. Cannot use the car stereo to skip tracks anymore. This is with an iPhone 5.

Cant sync contracts with isync and e815

running 10.4.8 and isync 2.3, I cant seem to sync these things together to transfer my contracts from my mac to my e815.

BBefore you head off to the Genius Bar, you did try basic steps like, quitting iTunes, rebooting the Mac and resetting the iPad? And by resetting the iPad I mean holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. That resets the iPad system and can help with a whole lot of weird issues.
Something else that migh help is Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings. That resets all device settings to defaults and sometimes corrupt settings on the iPad can cause problems. No data is lost if you do this, but you will have to enter all of the device settings again.

The network is always edge not 3g in Sun Cellular . Philippines in my ipad3. Other smart phones work well with 3g here

Consider using sshfs to mount your Pi from your Linux boxes. It's much easier to configure and manage than samba. It sounds like you already have your Windows machines mounting your Pi so Samba is doing its job in that respect.

To help get you off the dime, here's a modified line from my fstab that I use to mount my Pi with:

Subsitute my mount points with yours.
For a password-less mount:
ssh-copy-id gav@PI
after you've set up ssh and generated some keys on your client box.
Here are some relevant lines from the smb.conf file on my Pi that I use for my one Windows box in the house that might help you with your write permissions:
