which are the things we need to take care during merging of one plant into another plant.
here I listed few things, plz suggest me apart from this & correct me
1. PM Master data (Funct Loc, Equipment, MM of Spare material, BOM/Assemblies, Work Centers,Measuring Points/
counters, Class & Characteristics, etc)
2. PM Plans & Task lists
plz let me know any other things which i missed & need to take care.

Take of of following things:
1. Structure indicator because two plants may have different structure indicator.
2. Also take care of planning plant assignment, depends upon the type of planning (central, local or partially central). 3. Assignment of planning plant to maintenance orders types.
4. Take care of locations and plant sections and their assignment
Merger is different from roll out. Here you will have to delete configurations rather than extention.

Help needed to take care of Duplicate Inserts

I have one insert operation that takes place making use of the following structure,
INSERT INTO SOMETABLE (B, C, D)
SELECT A.ID, A.NAME, A.SOMEOTHERID
FROM TABLE1 A,
TABLE2 B,
TABLE3 C,
CONTAINSTABLE(TABLE2, COLUMN1, @SEARCHTERM) KEY_TBL,
WHERE A.MART_STATUS = 'SINGLE' AND
A.SEX = 'MALE' AND
C.ETHNICITY = 'SOMETHING' AND
C.ETHNICITYID = A.PATIENT_ETHNICITYID AND
A.ID= B.ID AND
B.SOMEID= KEY_TBL.[KEY]
Now as you can see, in the above query multiple records will be inserted into table SOMETABLE. Now I am facing the following problem, the above query is generated dynamically and is executed as EXEC @STATEMENT
The table SOMETABLE has composite key (i.e Columns B, C and D are primary keys together). Now if I do a multiple records insert in the SOMETABLE, and if records already exists, then it throws an error and aborts. I want the remaining inserts to carry on either by filtering the duplicate records or doing something else.
Can somebody please help me out with this. I facing an urgent issue which needs to taken care asap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Need to create infor record from one plant to other

Hi All,
We have a requirement where we need to create a info record in plant 120.
we already have the info records in the plant 130 and need to merge them in plant 120 even.
So requirement is to get the infor records from plant 130 and create in plant 120.
We have batch input programs ZRM06IBI0 ( create purch info record ) by which we can create the info record with available sequential file. this sequential file will be created by program RM06IBIE ( Create sequetial file for Purch info record ).
The problem here to use this things is that it creates a session for each record which will result in lacs of session created. which is not advaisable.
another option is to use BDC. but because of performance issues we need to skip it out and find any other method or function modules which can get the inforecords info from the database for plant 130 and create the same in plant 120.
Please help me in this regard.

Need help in passing parameters from one page to another!

Hi,
I need to pass values that are retrieved from database from one page to another.
But even when I use pageContext.putParameter(), I am not able to view the value in the 2nd page.
Any pointers on how to pass parameters would be helpful..

The requirement is on the main page there are 6 fields out of which 4 are read-only and are taken from the database and 1 is taken from database, but can be edited, and the 6th one is completly editable for the user. I am trying to pass these parameters using setForwardURL, and on the second page (Preview page, where all these fields are read-only), I am able to retrieve these parameters using pageContext.getParameters() and am able to display it as an exception but I am not able to set these into the fields using pageContext.putParameters().

HELP ME i need to pass String variables from one Frame to another

i need to pass a set of string values from one frame to another.
from the mainscreen i need to pass what type of seats the user has requested this is done by radio buttons. i need this information to then be passed onto the next frame called Mydialog1 and placed in a textbox with label st. it dosn't comple and i don't know why

What are the things we need to take care while moving from 11g to 12c.

Dear All,
One of my client having the application running on 11g and now he wants to move it on 12c.
Now he is asking to me that, what are the things will not work or impacted due to this. Any code level changes, syntax, functions etc are working in 11g and now there is difference or not working in 12c. Could you please help me in this.
Is there any document for all these thing. I searched on google but not able to find any specific doc.

Need information on transferring project from one Mac to another

I just returned from a trip, during which I started and added photos to an Aperture project on my MB Air. When I got home and started up my MacPro after the month's absence I was surprised to see the same project appear on my desktop. I thought I understood that Photo Stream/iCloud simply "shared" the month's photo stream between devices and computers, but was not aware that a project would also appear on each computer.
The photos were actually added physically to only the MB. Question: Does the project that appears on my desktop actually contain all of the photo files and information downloaded to the desktop? Or, are they simply in the "cloud" somehwere with a link in Aperture?
Also, if they are not physically on my desktop, how would I get them there wihtout actually importing every SD card again? Thanks!

Unless you actually imported them into the library on the desktop system they are only in the photo stream (and on the Air)
You can do one of two things:
You can import them from the photo stream. Make a project in the library on the desktop and drag the images from the photo stream to that project.
Or else export the projects you added the images to on the Air as a new library, copy that library over to the desktop and import it into the library on the desktop.
The advantage to doing it this way is if you have made any adjustments to the images or added metadata then that will be added to the library on the desktop. If you copy from the photo stream you will only get the originals

Need to pull the data from one server to another server in SSMS using linked server

Hi, I have store proc which will take the parameters passed to it and store it in a table in that server. Now, this table data has to be pulled to another server table which is of same structure. But I need to do that in the same store proc which is in
first server. I have searched in online but could not figure it how to link connection between these two servers and pull data from the first sever to the second. Can anyone please help

You can setup a linked server from Server A to Server B. Then you will be able to query server B from Server A.
eg: Assume you have a database test in Server B which has a table sample. From server A you could run this query to pull details.

I need to switch my ipod from one library to another please help me!

i keep my itunes on my computer at my dads...i took my ipod home and switched the computer there to be the source for my ipod...and i accidentally deleted all of my songs off of it. i was wondering how i could put the songs from my dad's computer back onto my ipod. please help. it will be greatly appreciated.

Your iPod is set to update automatically. Take it back to the first computer and connect it, it will update and reload your songs. Once you have done that, change the update setting on your iPod to manual and you'll be able to use it on both computers:

The iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences.

Connect your iPod to your computer and when it appears in the Source list go to Edit>iTunes>Music Tab (iTunes>Preferences>Music tab on a Mac). Choose one of the following options

I have emp and dept tables. I think most of all might know what columns it's contain. Now I want to create table emp_dept with all emp and dept table columns.
I have wrote the below query it's worked too. But I think there should be some more other queries to get accomplish the same task. Plz let me know.
create table emp_dept as select a.*, b.dname, b.loc from emp a full outer join dept b on a.deptno = b.deptno where 1=2

create table emp_dept as select a.*, b.dname, b.loc from emp a full outer join dept b on a.deptno = b.deptno where 1=2"WHERE 1 = 2" means you want to create the table, but not put any rows in it. In that case, theere's no need for a full outer join; a simple inner join would do just as well.
There is no single "right" or "best" table. (Most of us would have differerent jobs if there were.)
It does, however, make sense to talk about the "right" or "best" table for some specific purpose .
The emp and dept tables in the scott schema are great for transaction processing, where rows are frequenctly INSERTed, UPDATEd and/or DELETEd. For example, if department 10 moves from New York to Pune, you only have to find and UPDATE 1 row, and that one UPDATE will affect all employees in departemnt 10, regardess of how many there are.
What purpose will the emp_dept table have? Why is the table design used in the scott schema not best for you?
One possibility is that you need a tale that is very fast to query, even though it may be very inefficient for transactions. For example, you might want a data warehouse that is only refreshed once a day, and were you can run several common queries quickly, without joining the emp and dept tales.
Another possibility is that your data model (that is, what are the entities and the attributes) is different. For example, you may have a model where employees King and Miller both work in department 10, but King's location is New York, but Miller's is Pune.
In either of these situations, the table you posted migt be the best design. Why are you asking the question? What is the problem with the emp_dept table you posted?

I NEED TO TRANSFER THE BOOKMARKS FROM ONE USER TO ANOTHER IN THE SAME COMPUTER??

I have created the recommended second user site on my computer.
Also I have Administrator user site on the same computer that I do not wish to use sometimes.
Both users are having the same Mozilla browser (win7) but the second user does not have bookmarks that the first user is having.
I am struggling already almost half a day by using all printed articles but WITH NO SUCCESS.
Please advise ma how to do it. I feel it should not be a big problem.

It can be tricky knowing how to locate and navigate between the different settings folders used by your different installations of Firefox.
To start, I suggest creating a folder that serves as a neutral location that Windows doesn't try to secure between users. For example:
C:\bmks
You can create a backup from the fully loaded copy of Firefox to that folder, then restore it into the empty Firefox. You've probably already found the procedures, but just in case, the following article describes both the manual backup procedure and the restore procedure:

If you have bookmarks in the newer profile that you do not want to lose, you can use an alternate export/import procedure using an HTML file. This doesn't carry over all the same information (e.g., tags). These articles have the details, and again I suggest using a "neutral" folder:

When you're done, you can delete the contents of the neutral folder for privacy.

IPad 2 - From US to Europe (Things to take care ?)

Hello,
I have bought an Ipad 2 (AT&T Version ) from US. My friend is going to bring it over to Switzerland for me next week and I will always use it here. My question is, does she need to start it up in the US once before I can use it here in Switzerland ? If yes, does the Ipad 2 come with an AT&T sim card already installed for her to start up?
Is there anything else that she may need to take care, when getting it to Switzerland from US ? Or can I directly use it here, on inserting a local sim card ?

It doesn't have to be activated in the US. It will come (I think) with an AT&T micro-sim installed, but that doesn't have to be activated or used (3G doesn't have to be activated until you want to start using 3G on it), you should just be able to swap in a local micro-sim in Switzerland
