Which route does the data take?

Hello - I've a WRT54GL still working well after 5 years of use. I've got one Ethernet cable attached PC (computer "A"), and two WI-FI attached, (computers "B" and "C"). They're all running Windows XP. I've heard much about how intelligent devices and intelligent systems can route the traffic in the most efficient manner, but not sure how or when it works. For example, if I sit at computer "B": and copy (or move) a file from computer C to computer A, what route does the data take? Does it pass through computer B? Thanks for any info.

Data can be routed through an internetwork using the following three types of information:
• The physical address of the destination device, found at the data link layer. Devices that forward messages based on physical addresses generally are called bridges.
• The address of the destination network, found at the network layer. Devices that use network addresses to forward messages usually are called routers, although the original name, still commonly used in the TCP/IP world, is gateway.
• The circuit that has been established for a particular connection. Devices that route messages based on assigned circuits are called switches.

  • HT1296 When I sync my iPhone to my MacBook, which way does the data flow?

Will the contacts on my iPhone overwrite all the contacts on my MacBook? Also in iCalendar?

Yes. It's always a one-directional sync: iTunes TO iPhone. The only time the iPhone syncs TO iTunes would be for apps and music purchased from the iPhone that are not in iTunes or are newer than the versions currently in iTunes Library.

Your first task should be to just be able to send commands to the instrument.  Do as Dennis suggested and download the drivers for the instrument and get familiar with them.  Build up small VIs that do little tasks with those drivers so you can get used to them.  Then worry about your main interface.

  • Where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date

    Hi All,
Please let me know, where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date?.
    Adi.

    Hi,
DELIVERY DATE  will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .
Please check them and revert back if u need further details
    thanks,

  • Exactly what does the Data Drop-down List do?

What does the Data Drop-down List do? Is it used to make a drop-down list from certain records in a column in a table of a data base?

Yes, this is exactly what it does. However, it's a custom control, not a built-in control. JavaScript is used to set it up. In order to use it you have to have a data connection in the document and modify the "Initialize" script, which is were the list is populated from the DB. The "Initialize" code is a good example of how to use XFA JavaScript to access a DB. However, the code is also written in a very general manor and takes the long way around to hooking up to the DB. Much shorter code can be written for a specific DB.

  • Where does the processing take place when using a remote front panel?

    Hi,
I am considering upgrading my LabView software from 6i to 6.1 for the new "two click" remote front panel feature. I have already seen a demo of this feature but have just a few questions before I get the upgrade:
My setup consists of several pieces of equipment connected to Labview via GPIB, to aid in the evaluation of a new microchip.
    1. I wish to grant control of the setup to anyone with a web browser, Is the remote monitoring feature compatible with both Netscape and IE?
    2. The VI which controls the setup is currently located on the PC beside my setup. When I embed a VI in a remote front panel, where does the processing take place, is the local VI still controlling the setup? and
the remote panel just sending and receiving data from the local VI.
    Thanks, Troy

Yes. Provided they are resonably modern versions.

The computer which we refer to as the server, the one with the GPIB card
in your case, will execute as it does now. In fact, its window will
even be open. The remote client computer, the one with the web browser
will be running the runtime engine and processing user events, value
change and property/method events from the server. So in reality, both
computers will be sharing the load a bit. This allows for very small
packets to be sent between the computers. It is in fact quite similar
to publishing the data between the computers using datasocket.
One thing to keep in mind. Standard LV includes a license for one
connection. If you want to allow for multiple web browsers to view at
the same time, additional licenses are available. Also, only one user,
remote or server may be in control of the panel at a time. That means
that if you want to be able to operate the panel, changing kn
    obs or
flipping switches, the others will become viewers only until you give up
control. Hopefully this isn't a surprise, but I thought you might want
    to hear about it now.

  • Which method does the actual bulk fetch from database in ADF?

    Hi,
I'm looking to instrument my ADF code to see where bottlenecks are. Does anyone know which method does the bulk fetch from the database so that I can override it?
    Thanks
    Kevin

    Hi,
I think you need to be more specific. ADF is a meta
data binding layer that delegates data queries to the
    business service
FrankSorry - to be specific I probably mean BC4J - when a query runs in a view object.

  • Which tables does the IDOC QALITY02 update?

    Hi Guys,
I have a serious question at hand. I have to find out which tables the IDOC QALITY02 updates. How do I find this out?
The problem arises because the functional designer wants an IDOC that updates the same tables as transaction code QE51N. Is QALITY02 the right IDOC for doing this? If not which IDOC does the job and how do I find it?
I would really appreciate your help. Please mark this question as URGENT.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Does the EBCC takes the timestamp of the files into account when the synchronisation occurs?

We are running WL Portal 7.0 sp2.
I had to re-deploy an older version of our portal application.
I put back the old portal webapp and ran the EBCC to synchronize the approprate
    portalApp-project.
In the EBCC I specified "Update all the files in the project." but after the deployment
I received several stacktraces concerning webflows that couldn't be found.
Does the EBCC takes the timestamp of the files into account when the synchronisation
    occurs?

Who remove them ? user or the abs ??
I think the best method is file dependence , not package dependence.....
Software is arranged by package. but its dependence is file. When Install a package, pacman check its file dependence, and install the packages which include those files....
If a  not explicit installed package 's file does not required by any other packages , it can be removed automatically !
In this situation ,pacman can find packages that not needed after compilation, and remove them.

  • Which table stores the data of transaction FBL1N...?

    Hi,
Please help me find out which table stores the data ,generated from transaction FBL1N..Actually i need to find out the g/l account against the vendor account that is being displayed in FBL3N's document overview.

    Hi,
Data will be retrieved from following table :
    tables: lfa1, lfb1, bsik, bsid, kna1, t001,t005, SKAT, SKB1.
In BSIK you have  both LIFNR and HKONT. You will get the data based on the LIFNR and HKONT. LIFNR is Vendor and HKONT is GL assigned to the vendor.
    Thanks,

      Windows XP

Usually just a few days... they very seldom (if ever) repair them. You'll usually get either a new or refurbished replacement.
