Which schema version is in use

How can I tell whether a Directory Server is using schema version 1 or 2?

Schema 1 versus Schema 2 is really an application usage question. However, there are a few quick things to look at.
If you are using any of the iPlanet/SunOne Messaging Server 5.x versions, your directory probably has Schema 1 data.
If you have a suffix of 'o=internet', it's probably Schema 1.
If you are using any of the JES versions of Messaging Server or Access Manager, you are probably using Schema 2.
If you have only one suffix, and in that suffix there is a 'ou=services' branch, then it's likely Schema 2.
If you've never installed Messaging server or Access Manager, then you aren't using either Schema 1 or Schema 2.

  • Which Security version is Safari using for a secure connection

Now that SSL 3.0 can be compromised, how can I determine which security version Safari is using:
TLS 1.2, TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.0.  Is there a way to force Safari to use at least TLS 1.0?

Thanks for the enormous amount of information.
Unlike Firefox, I do not see how to force Safari NOT to use SSL 3.0.
If that info was in your response, I must have missed it.
So once again: Is there a way to force Safari (using preferences) to use TLS 1.0 or higher?

    Latest change: 378069
    Sync time: ${sync.time}
    Thanks,
    Nishant

    Hi Nishant,
    1) Just by opening either Integration Repository or Integration Directory. And after that goto Menu Bar>    HELP MENU>Info.       It will display you present server name and version(support pack) which is presently using by that user.
2)If you want to complete info about the system then just open the link http://<server_name>:<port>. There you will find a link with name "System Information", that will give you more information.  It shows one option Kernal. Which is mentioned in kernal option, that is XI version.

  • From which PI version we can use AF_Modules/AddSOAPHeaderBean?

    Hi gurus,
You know we can use AF_Modules/AddSOAPHeaderBean module to add soap header by using the method of Praveen blog"AddSOAPHeaderBean" module. From which PI version we can use AF_Modules/AddSOAPHeaderBean? We are using  PI 7.0 SP 12, but we find we couldn't use it cause the communication channel monitoring gave the following the error after we configured that parameter: "com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Object not found in lookup of AddSOAPHeaderBean."
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi xinjiang li,
As far as I know, AF_Modules/AddSOAPHeaderBean module is available from PI7.11 version on wards.

  • Which protocol version is really used?

In the JSSE reference guide, Appendix A: Standard Names, is said, that the protocol name passed to the getInstance method of the SSLContext class maybe one of the following: SSL, SSLv2, SSLv3, TLS, TLSv1. But it does not specify which protocol version will actually be used, it is always said that it supports one or some specific protocols, but it may support other protocol versions as well.
And what does the setEnabledProtocols method of the SSLSocket class do? May an application specify here exactly, which protocols should be used?

JSSE currently supports SSL v3.0 and TLS v1.0 (SSL v3.1).
The protocol agreeded with the server depends on your client/server configuration, and always is the lower protocol supported by both of them.
    For example:
    Server -> TLS v1.0
    Client -> SSL v3.0
The shared protocol will be SSL v3.0.
About the getEnabledProtocols() method, give a look here:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/guide/security/jsse/JSSERefGuide.html#NewMethods
    Hope this helps.

  • Which tomcat version  to be used for  jdk6?

    Hi
Which jdk version is best compatible for Tomcat5.0? Can I use jdk6 ? Also tell me which is the most suitable tomcat version to be used for jdk6. Also tell me what are all the Tomcat settings (environmental variables etc.) to be made before running the web applications?
    Thanks in advance.

    I mean can i use tomcat5.0 with jdk6.Yes.
The JVM you are using is pretty much irrelevant as long as it is above the minimum. For Tomcat5, thats JDK1.4 I think.
The problem is not with JDK6, it will be with your understanding of Tomcat.
but the programs i put in the web-apps folder with root directory(say firstapp) are not runningThe ROOT directory is the "default" web app. Not the place where you should deploy new web applications.
All your web applications (with a WEB-INF directory in them) should be off the folder "webapps"
    [Tomcat 5 docs|http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/appdev/deployment.html]
Having said that, IMO you should be using at least Tomcat 5.5, and possibly even Tomcat 6 if you want the latest version.
    Cheers,

    Daniel.I am inclined to suggest either Oracle Linux 6.3/6.4 (or possibly Oracle Linux 5.x ( x >= 4 ) )
    See for example:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/servers-storage-admin/ginnydbinstallonlinux6-1845247.html
( I should know, but I don't, that 6.3/6.4 can be set up for database server option with the package in that above link already installed ).
More help should be available on the Oracle Linux or Oracle Installation forums if you need it.
It is a good idea for you to read the linux install notes and and release notes as well; and note any advice on version numbers, something a DBA may sometimes have to do.
( I might check my suggestion here more fully, but I am a bit tight for time. (one does occasionally edge into version mismatch issues, which if you don't have patches can be an issue )).

  • Which Rapport version do I use with OSX Lion

My Business Banking via HSBC keeps telling me to download Trusteer Rapport - but it gives only two versions for Mac - one is called Mac Leopard and the other Mac Tiger. I don't know which one to download as I am running OSX Lion.  Phoned the Bank and they can't help me either.
I have been on the Trusteer site - but can't find the answer there and they have not responded to my email (2 weeks ago) asking them which version to install.
Has anyone else had this problem and how do I sort it.
Any other comments on Rapport would be good too.
    Many thanks

I found the following Answer on Trusteer's website about their product "Rapport":
Does Rapport support Mac Mountain Lion (10.8)?
    http://my.nanorep.com/widget/widget.html?account=trusteer&referer=http%3A//www.t rusteer.com/support/&dynamicsize=true&dynamicmaxsize=500
We are glad to inform you that a version of Rapport which supports Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) has been released and is now available for download in the following link: http://www.trusteer.com/support/leopard-105x-snow-leopard-106x-lion-107x-and-mou ntain-lion-108x
Please make sure to restart your computer after the installation process is completed.
So if you download and install this latest Version of Rapport for the Mac OSX version, it should work with Lion also.
    Hope this helps

  • Ext Mgr won't recognize which DW version I'm using

I had DW MX2004, then installed DW 8 (I know I'm two or three
versions behind, but this is a work computer and I get what they
buy me). Anyway, the DW 8 got installed on top of MX2004, so both
are on this machine now. When I open Extension manager, it only
shows MX2004 in the little dropdown box. This is a problem because
I have a couple of extensions which only work in version 8 or
higher. So how can I get it to recognize my current version?

In the past the following has worked for people experiencing
    this issue:
    Open Dreamweaver 8
    Then open Extension Manager

  • Which photoshop version should I use with...

    A. Ibook G4 Mac OS X 10.4.11
    B. Mac Mini Power PC G4 Mac Os X 10.5.6
Any links to download a free trial
    Thanks in advance.

See if you can return/refund CS5 ASAP as there may be a limited time to do so - - or start shopping for an Intel Mac.
Do you already have any version of Photoshop? With old G4 computers, you may want something even earlier than CS4 as each new release expects more system resources.
Be careful when shopping for older versions. There are many sellers that are passing off pirated software. There is a lengthy thread in the Windows Photoshop forum about eBay.

  • Which photoshop version should i use?

    Hi,
I have been looking over the different Photoshop options and i am lost.
basically i am a cartoonist starting out, so i cannot buy the biggest package, but i need a Photoshop package that will allow me to do animation and all things included with that.
Any assistance would be great. Thank you

    Good day!
If you are serious about animation maybe you should not invest time in learning how to do it in Photoshop but focus on more specialised software. (edited)
This Forum seems to be pretty inactive
    Animation tips and tricks
but I expect there are plenty of non-adobe-maintained Fora on animation.
Are you intending to do "classic" or 3D animation?

  • Which version I should use

    Hi,
    I got this
Java 1.5.0_03 or later is required for installing Oracle Solaris Studio. Make sure that Java is properly installed and run installer again.
You can specify valid Java location using --javahome installer argument.
Can anyone tell me which JDK version I should use there?

    Moderator Action:
This post has been moved from the Oracle Linux forum.
You don't have a Linux question.
    You actually don't have a JRE/JDK question.
You have a Solaris Studio question.
You needed to spend an extra moment choosing where to post it.
    We moved it for you.
