If you need it for 2-3 months please check of month-to-months plan as the Annual membership comes with a contact and there would be an early termination fee attached to it. which is 50% of the remaining months.

I get the card in PDF and the printing priorities are that the paper is 8x10 but it is being printed on a 'card' that is the size 8.5X4 5/8, can I get the printer to print on the card that is not the size of the paper in the PDF"

    Hi, the 4630 is unable to create a custom paper size.
    You can try using a alternate printer driver which will allow you to create the custom paper size that you require.
    1. Click on the Start menu.
    2. Click on Devices and Printers.
    3. Right-click on your printer.
    4. Select Printer Properties.
    5. Click on the Advanced tab.
    6. Click on New Driver.
    7. Click Next.
    8. Select HP from the first list
    9. Select Deskjet 450 from the second list.
         If the 450 driver isn't there, use the Deskjet 990c driver.
    10. Click Next.
    11. Click Finish.
    12. Click Apply.
    13. Click OK to close the window.

    I was wondering if Adobe offers any type of non-profit organization discounts on their products. I am trying out the trial version of adobe formscentral and really need it for my non-profit organization, however 15 dollars a month is a LOT for a small business that has just opened. Are there any special pricing options for small businesses who are unable to afford 15 dollars a month?  Or is that all we have to work with ?

    I can't speak for Adobe products overall, but know that the FormsCentral subscription does not have non-profit pricing.
    The "Plus" plan, while it is a higher level of service, is cheaper over the course of a year than the "Basic" plan, it requires purchasing an annual subscription rather than month to month but only comes to $11.99/mo when the annual cost is divided by 12.

  • Non-profit organization: licensing for one font on 61 computers

    We are interested in using Chaparral Pro on the event tickets that we print out.  The ticketing software can be used on (currently) 61 computers which connect to about 10 printers through one server.  Assuming we need a license for each computer, what is the best method to get those licenses?  Buying 13 of the $35 "5 computer" licenses seems odd; is there some sort of volume licensing program available?

    We are setting up three 20 station computer work areas  for a non profit that does homeless services. These labs will be places for clients to come in throughout the day and get resumes done, do job searches etc. We have 20 new dell workstations /
    Windows 8 Pro.  We need to set these up where multiple users can come easily sign in and start doing work but we want them to be fixed desktops that cannot be altered (GPO) and easily managed.  Is Desktop Virtualization the best way to go? thanks

    You should be able to get a quote from an authorized Adobe reseller, non-profit organization can purchase volume license products at a discount. I would recommend inquiring about Team Ready for non-profits.

    I work for a company that would like to purchase upgrades for a couple of the new Adobe CS5.5 software packages for the Mac. Specifically:
    Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection- upgrade only
    Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium - upgrade only
    Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium - entire software package (because we do not have an earlier version of this software)
    We are currently operating on CS4.
    My question is: since we are a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, are there any discounts anyone knows of out there for such organizations?

    You can find all the information about fonts licensed from Adobe (including fonts bundled with Adobe applications) at:

    There is no restriction against use of any Adobe-licensed font in any print media (such as posters) to answer your specific question. Obviously, though, you can't “give” the font files to the printer or publisher, but you can embed them in print-ready PDF, EPS, and PostScript files. Furthermore, Adobe font licensing makes no distinction between for-profit and non-profit use.
    Note that for fonts from other font vendors (i.e. not Adobe), other licensing requirements including higher cost licenses or even royalties may apply.

    The express edition will only use 1 cpu EVEN on multi-cpu servers.
    Just food for thought ... Not saying this is your case, but I have seen a lot of NPOs that have bought 2CPU boxes and loaded the application and the database on the same box. That means the app is sharing the machine, and only a part of the machine is going to the database. A cheaper solution in that case is to use two 1-CPU machines and get 1 CPU license for Oracle. And the reduced feature set of XE might be enough.
