Hi all,
I am doing initial balances migration...
In which table the initial balances will be stored when loading though an api.. (pay_balance_upload.process).
First I have loaded data in to pay_balance_batch_headers and pay_balance_batch_lines tables..
Then called the api pay_balance_upload.process. and the data was reflecting correctly in front end.
But we need to reconcile the loaded data.. for that, can anyone please tell me in which the loaded balances would be stored..
I have identified two tables, pay_assignment_latest_balances
and pay_latest_balances
when I try to create a balance from frontend I can see the data in pay_latest_balances table..
But when I load via api I am not able to find it in any of these tables..
In addition to that can anyone please tell me when the data will be populated in pay_assignment_latest_balances and pay_latest_balances tables.

You have followed the correct process..As Vignesh said, you can use pay_balance_pkg.get_value to make sure you have the correct values uploaded but otherwise if you are able to see the values in the front end I wouldn't worry about the latest balances tables. These tables, as the name indicate, hold only the latest values and if a payroll (ran post the initial balance upload) has been rolled back, these are deleted since they are no longer available.

credit exposure is not available in CRM but in ECC. You can see open credit values in ECC tables SO66 and SO67.

From which table the structure field is getting populated

Hi all,
I've a requirement to run the report for process orders when AFVGD-FLG_PURS(Indicator:purchase order exist)is active. I'm not able to find from which transparent table I can populate data in this flag value.
I've tried "where-used list" to get which table is having this field, but I didn't get any table name.
Is there any way to get it?

Hi,
another possible solution is to do a "trace".
1.- Go to transaction is ST05.
2.- Then activate the trace.
3.- Afterwards go to the transaction where the structure field is.
4.- And then return to ST05 to deactivate the trace.
5.- Last watch carefully the log of the trace.
Here you will find all the tables and select´s involved in the process.

Which table does structure RWCOOM access?

Hi to All,
I am currently using SAP 4.6C version.
I am using the report S_ALR_87013648 - Area: Actual/Budget/Commitments under controlling. It mentions that it uses the structure RWCOOM under library 1CT - 1SET-001.
But i want to know which table does it access to view its content.
And when ever i enter budget using the KPZ2, this report always shows the double of it, for eg if i will enter 12 the report will show 24.
Your comments will be appreciated.

Go to Transaction SE80, Select Program and paste that program name below..
Then drop down the tree of that program...then you will find option " Dict. Structures"..
Here you can find the tables which has been you for that transaction / program.

ORA-00942: the table or view does not exist

Hello!!!!
I have tree simple mappings each one with only one dimention and sometimes external or normal tables. One of them is ok but I can´t deploy the others.
In Controle Center I have this messege: the table or view does not exist.
I genereted both queries and run in SQL navigator with the same message.
I realized that I can set the schema properties for external tables but I couldn´t do the same for Dimension (or I don´t know where I can do this).
I believe that I have to set this propertie for dimension to have my mapping running ok, but I realized that the only one mapping that is ok does not have this propertie set.
Where is the problem?!!?!?!?
I validated these mapping and they have warnnings about column length, no errors.
In the previous OWB version I used to set this propertie, but in 10.2 I don´t know if is realy necessary.

Try to open the package body with a tool like TOAD and try to compile it. When you use TOAD the process stops where the error is. Then you know which table or view doesn't exist for the OWB. If the table or view does exist then it is almost certainly a missing privilege that prevents you from succesfully deploying your mapping. If the table or view does not exist then you've got to deploy the underlying (bound) table.

I have to add a new Big INT column to existing table in production, which holds 700 million records and would like to know the impact?
I have been tolled by one of my colleagues that last time they tried adding a column to same table during working hour and it locked out the table and impacted the users.
Please suggest/share If any one had similar experience.

If you add a new column to a table using an ALTER TABLE ADD command and specify that the new column allows NULLs and you do not define a default value, then it will take a table lock. However, once it gets the table lock, it will essentially run instantly
and then free the table lock. That will add this new column as the last column in the table, for example
ALTER MyTable ADD MyNewColumn bigint NULL;
But if you your change adds a new column with a default value, or you do something like using table designer to add the new column in the middle of the current list of columns, then SQL will have to rewrite the table. So it will get a table lock, rewrite
the whole table and then free the table lock. That will take a considerable amount of time and the table lock will be held for that whole period of time.
But, no matter how you make the change, if at all possible, I would not alter a table schema on a production database during working hours. Do it when nothing else is going on.

I have requirement to get the values of Total target cost and Total actual
cost of production order.
Tcode: CO03->Goto->Costs->Analysis
We can see the posible cost elements and values of respective production order.
But all these data are stored in KKBCS_OUT structure.
Could you please tell me which table we can get these information?
I have checked individual data elements in where use list also. But i am not able
to find any thing.

Hello Friends,
Most of the times through techinal information we come to know the table name for a particular field.And in se16 when i give that table name than system says its structure and not the table.So in se11 when i give that structure name in database table field, its shows all the field in that structure, but not the data stored in that field.
So my question is how to find out that particular structure is used in which tables,so that i can view data stored in that structure?

Dear,
When you click on the technical information it will give the structure name and field, double click on the structure and it will take you the display structure screen, there you will have the where-used List icon (Ctrl + Shift + F3) at the top , click on that and it will show the options, select Database tables and execute, it will give the tables related to the structure, you can explore the list of tables and find where your required field is stored in them.

Do you Know where the Rating will store, which entered in PB30.
The application number stored in PB0002, Rating in HRT1045, But there is no common field between the table.
Is there other table which, both (Rating & Applicant number )will store. I need to write a function module to Get Rating (Technical Knowledge) based on the Applicant number for writing the select query.

see I am working in ABAP for PP and SD module so I not authorized to access PB30...but for your problem ...I found something see for Application Number : goto se11 there structure name RPAPP which hold your application number data element for that is :APLNR ....
from this data element use where-use-list then select table so that you get all table name where it store ....
I thins it may help you Point expecting if I m rite ..

in above code which rowid will exist min or max?
example: rowid:
121
123
111
124
with above code which rowid will exists after deletion duplicate records.

Your question is not very clear.
This query deletes rows in table t1 only if there is a matching row in table t2 for key_value1 and key_value2 and if t1 rowid is lower then t2 rowid: only rows in t1 are deleted (no rows in t2 are deleted).
Since rowid are generated internally by Oracle and encode datafile number, object identifier and row number, I'm not sure it makes really sense to compare them in 2 differents tables just "lower than " operator. However it could be useful to use comparison on some rowid fields if you use DBMS_ROWID package to compare datafile number, object_number and row number.
