Which template file is used for DITA 1.2 publishing?

Hi all,
when I save a ditamap as composite document, which template file must I edit to change the layout?
So far I have modified the topic templates (task.template.fm etc.) but I have not found the template relevant for the output yet.
Update
The ditafm_output.ini file contains the line CompositeDocTemplate_1.2=ditabase.template.fm but exchanging all ditabase.template.fm files in the FM directory did not do the job.
This seems like is a very basic question so I wonder why it is not documented - or am I missing something? The only workaround I found was to manually import the EDD and formatting from my template into the FM document each time after publishing.

Either I'm confused about dates, or there's a harmonic convergence going on. I am just now grappling with this problem myself and lo, here is a discussion that started yesterday!
So far I have tried altering the Struct Apps file to specify which template to use in the DITA_1.2_ditabase applicaton, and I have tried editing the template file stored in ...\AdobeFrameMaker11\Structure\xml\DITA_1.2\app\technicalContent\template\ditabase.templ ate.fm... Neither of these activities makes a difference. So when Maker saves a DITA map as a composite document, does it use any of the applications in the App Definitions file? Or is it using hard-coded magic for some unexplicable reason? If the latter, that should be logged as a bug.
I'm getting convinced that Maker doesn't use the Struct Apps file at all when saving as a composite doc because I have deleted all app definitions from the file except DITA_1.2_ditabase. I still get the same results no matter how I define the template. Then when I use Scott's trick to check which app created the document, it shows DITA_1.2_ditabase -- BUT, the Set Application list shows the full set of apps that I could choose from the default struct apps file. (Yes, I have loaded my changed struct apps file -- and verified that it has only one app in it by restarting Maker and choosing EDIT struct apps file... It has a single app as expected.) So I don't believe I have reduced the set of defined struct apps at all, even though I have only one app in the loaded struct apps file! Where is this information coming from, and why can't I control it? In short, this area of the product is unpredictable for my feeble brain, and I can't afford to spend any more time on it. I have deadlines to meet.
Bottom line, I can't seem to do ANYTHING that will change Maker's behavior when saving a dita map as a composite document. This is a real problem, BTW. It means that my daily work flow always includes the stupid, manual steps of importing formats and EDD from another template after I create the file! Can this possibly be acceptable behavior? Note to Adobe... This is the sort of thing that drives a customer to use a different product.

Which inf file to use for HP LaserJet Pro 200 color m251nw, when updating the driver?

My printer is LaserJet Pro 200 color Printer M251nw. I visited the support page and found there is a newer driver.
Driver (61.117.01.15301)
Currently my driver version is 61.117.1.11493. I want to upgrade the driver.
After downloading and unzipping the files into the folder, I found there are 3 inf files in the folder:
hpcm251u.inf
hpcm251c.inf
hpbuio70l.inf
So which one should I install? I am disappointed at the lack of information and inconvenience in upgrading the driver.

I see that you are trying to update the driver and are not sure which .inf to choose.

Since it is running through the add printer wizard you can select any one of the .inf files you listed
to update the drivers.

Problem with Outlook 2010 sync: Which PST file is used for synchronisation?

I have a problem with sync of my Outlook 2010 calendar with my iPhone. Sync works somehow but it seems that iTunes grabs any calendar but not the one of my Outlook. I looks like iTunes is connected to another PST or some other calendar file on the computer.
Is there a way to find out where iTunes takes the calendar information from while doing the sync? Any logfile?

I'm having the same issue. I work on one file, then move to another and when I go to export it brings up file #1. I have to close all the other files before I can export file #2.

I'm using a Mac Pro (8 gigs Ram 500GB HD), running OS X.4.11 and using Fireworks CS4 10.0.3.11. I just updated it and its still doing it.
Am also having crashes when working with text in a PNG file. I have to say I miss the text editor box since the machine wasn't trying to work with font appearances while you're editing text. Seems like this new "feature" makes Fireworks unstable. I'm thinking about downgrading to CS2.

hi,
i use jmeter for without issues..
first make sure that the system from where you are doing load testing is in the same lan(without firewall) to that of server. Here you are testing the capacity of server and not the network bandwith.
So assuming very good network connection what is the servers performance level...
If u have to decide which tool is decent enough to load testing,
i would suggest go for jmeter. its reliable and i have used it without problems.
Here is my quick tutorial for jemeter which i made for my teams reference.

RUNNING LOAD TEST
     Extract jakarta-jmeter-2.3RC4.zip in c:

     Right Click Thread Group -> Add->Sampler->HTTP Request

          Retrive All Embeded images from HTML: Checked(For geting images inside html)

          Loop Count:5(Above process should be repeated how many times)

     Listeners coud be added at thread group level or HTTP Request Level
RECORDING A TEST.
     Add a HTTP proxy server in workbench by right clicking on it and selecting Add->Non test Element->HTTP Proxy Server.
     In Test Plan Add Thread Group
     In HTTP proxy server select Target Controller as Test Plan > Thread Group.
     Go to Internet Explorer and go to internet settings and set proxy server as localhost and the port
          which is configured in Jmeter proxy server.Save Settings.
     In Jeter proxy server start by Clicking on Start button in the HTTP Proxy Server Flap.
     In browser navigate the application which you want to test.
     The nodes will be added in the Thread Group.
     Once Navigation is done stop the proxy server and save the test plan from file menu.
LOGGING INTO APPLICATION.
     When we have to login into system and then navigate the system
          we need a cookie to be tracked after login. This could be achieved
          simply by Add -> Config Element -> HTTP Cooie Manager.
     After adding the HTTP Cooie Manager simply run the test.
LOOPING COUNTER.
     When a request is made multiple parameter is sent to server.
     Parameters are sent from the HTTP Request node added in the Thread Group
          in "Send Parameter with the request" table.
     If we run the loop count 10 times the parameters will be sent same in every request.
     If you have to send parameters like user1,user2,user3,user4....
          then add -> Pre processor -> Counter.
     Put start as 1 and and Maximum as 10 or whatever required.
     Put Referene name as iCtr or whatever.
     In the "Send Parameter with the request" in value column put user${iCtr}

As the other posters wrote in order to take a movie file and turn it into a DVD that can be played in standard DVD players you need a DVD authoring application. That you need a separate program to create the DVD is standard procedure and has been that way since the beginning. All Apple produce that can produce video files require an external authoring program. iMovie, iPhoto and Final Cut all do this.
One other thing I will comment on is your choice of output format. You will almost certainly be disappointed with the video quality of your finished DVD if you put a HD video on a SD DVD. Unless you plan to burn a bluray disk you will get a better quality video if you output as SD if you plan to burn to an SD disk.

Same WAD Template to be used for different queries and dataprovider

I want to create a WAD template that cound be use by 100 more queries.
Making setting in SPRO or RSCUSTV27 will make it a default template for all the queries.
I only want the template to be used for say MM module(100 queries).
Any way it can be done?

I assume your requirement as this:
Case 1: You have N querie(s) on several infoproviders in your case MM module, and that you would like to display all the queries in a single WAD report? You can do it! Its a feasible solution.
Goto WAD > Insert a 2 X 2 table > In the (1,1) box insert a drop down box. In the (1,2) You may add a Title of type 'Text' > In the (2,1) box you may add a 'Navigational Pane' > In the (2,2) cell add the 'Analysis Grid' > Create a Dataprovider DP_1 referencing any frequently accessed query. As of now a template has been created, which can be modified as accordance to suit your requirements.
Now, once done, goto the dropdown box settings. This DDBox's main objective is to give you acess to all the N queries in your MM module. Goto 'Web Item Params' > Choose the 'Data Binding' option > Edit Parameter > In the 'Data Binding Type' choose 'QUERY VIEW' > Goto the 'Selection of Query Views' > Check the option 'Specify List of Query Views' > Under 'Single Entry in DD...' choose Initial State as QUERY; Not QUERYVIEWS > Choose your N queries as listed here. No need to create N different DPs or N different reports.
Here, your iView is of type ..TEMPLATE=ZTEST.. for WAD based reports; not ..QUERY=ZTEST...

Case 2: You wish to create a BEx template for all your existing MM queries as run on BEx Web based analyzer? In this case you need to check on the KM config. In the portal you have the Imported iViews templates.

I have not run into this yet with my AA9 and Win7, but have been seeing posts about it. I would try a repair before I would do an uninstall and reinstall. You might also turn off javascript for a bit in case there has been some javascript that has caused problems (ok, making wild guesses). If you do decide to uninstall, be sure to deactivate first, uninstall, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, and remove any left over parts of the Acrobat folder. Then proceed to the reinstall and updates.
There is a question about whether being able to use it is correct, or you are just getting some message that is a spam that somehow got into your system (again, a possible javascript issue). Besides turning off javascript, you could also try isolating the javascripts to moving them to a temporary directory and seeing if one is causing the problem.

Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’. 1. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more? The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.
