Which to shut down first.. AE or PremPro when linked

Hi,
I have PremProCS4 and it has linked files to AE CS4..both open and all is well. Effects are in and looking great. I've worked in this same project many times. Now when I close AE first Prem Pro has a fit and looses the links. I reopen AE and have to bring in the missing clips again. These are brought in from my computer files too since AE needs the computer ref as well as the clip in PremPro.
This doesn't happen all the time so I am perplexed. Is there a formula I need to follow in order to shut down these two programs and not loose the links? I save on a regular bases too.

I am using a i7 Dell... a huge monster designed by moi for working with the Adobe Master Collection with 12 gb ram...so memory isn't an issue.
All the files are linked to the source so that isn't the problem either. All files are kept in the same folders and never moved or renamed. All files and clips are in both AE, Prem Pro and on the computer.
I take a single clip from my story board (file area in the project) will use it a couple of times where I trim small seconds from it to place in the timeline in Prem Pro. I will end up with, for example, two dragged clips..each from a different location from the same clip, onto the timeline. I then highlight one of the the clips that needs effects from AE and then go to my Dynamic Link and choose..replace with AE file .. this goes to my open AE project made for this video I am working on. I can then do the effects and I also make sure I re-import my "computer source" full clip to AE so it has it to reference as well as the source file in Prem Pro. I then go to the next clip and do the same which creates a second folder below in the AE project. All works well. But once in a while, when I shut down AE..first...Prem Pro says it has lost the clip info from AE and I get the placement card.
I would then open AE and sometimes the file is gone and sometimes if I then to back to my open PremPro it will apprear again...and sometimes not..then I have to redo it all over again. No matter what I always re-import the source file just be make sure I have it and it didn't get removed by the program...even thought it is still there but do this as a precaution. I am pretty convinced this might be buggie software but it could be me too and I'd like to know if this has happened to anyone else?

Hello, Currently we are seeing this issue with a couple of our Lenovo T420s laptops with a Solid State Drive. ruffly about 10 or so. The Reboots happen randomly and do not create a dump file. We have contacted Lenovo and they are
not sure why its happening. Since this Crash I set it for Minidump this did not work my next steps will be to Disable Automatic restart on System Failure to see if it brings anything up. I am also looking at using Procmon to dump to a file as well.
If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.

We have tested and checked both the Bios and firmware of the SSD Drive's
Bios was up to date and no issue
Firmware was also up to date as well.
Users are still experiencing random Reboots.   I tried to capture the issue with Procmon but since the PC shutdown (Goes to a black screen no power at all even when turning the "Automatically
restart" off under Startup and Recovery) No dmp files as of yet. Unable to configure Procdump due to not knowing where the issue is and what is causing it to happen.
Going to replace one of the PC's with a New one with different hardware to see if this resolve the issue. If anyone has any idea's to be able to capture what maybe happening that would
be great.

I agree with Mr X. This should be a BSOD issue. Did you refer to Mr X’s suggestions and solve this issue?
Just addition, troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to analyze the crash dump file to narrow down the root cause of the issue. Please refer to following articles

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Just sits there occupying very little space & never interfering, unless you need to invoke it in Single User Mode.

I've tried all those.But nothing works.The phone seems to be shut down.But it is not.When i get it out of my pocket, for example to call someone, i touch to main button but nothing happens.I solve it by pushing the power button and the main button together just for a couple of seconds, as its said so in the forums.

Is it possible that you or someone who knows your iCloud sign on went into the Find My iPhone app and erased your device via iCloud? Because that is what that message is saying.
Have you tried to sign on with your Apple ID and password?
Was it online prior to this incident happening?

Software hiccup, glitch or maybe faulty battery. Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if this helps. If still problem that you think is serious enough to fix, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty. Make Genius Reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

can any one help me how can EEM help for automatic shut down or switch over of WAN link in OSPF when packet drop increase a predefined level.
I have a set up different branches connected together...OSPF is the routing protocol and need to communicate with two branches via hub locations.
need to shut or switch some percent of traffic from primary to back up when packet drop in the link.

I am not sure EEM can do what you want.
Another option could be to use SLA tacking/monitoring. But you will fall back to the new route when you lose some percentage of pings, you can't switch only part of the traffic.

Recently have 1 unique problem to ask for buddy helps in here. thank you 1st for all.
my iphone4s shut down at battery level 30% when i use 3G service only, turn on 3G service to use around 5 hours to shut down my phone, from 100% - 30%.
but, it doesnt happen when i turn on my WIFI, or use normally.
hard reset - done..
soft reset - done.
itunes restore - done.
battery calibration - done.
battery - it seems not a battery problem because when i use WIFI, or normal use without data, i can use until 1% until phone shut down itself.
upgrade ios 7.0.4 - the battery could drain more faster if i upgrade to this firmware.
i have no idea, even i go for apple store, their technical helps are same with my level, except they ask me to change a new iphone, wow..
anybody in here could help or experience this?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi All!
I've this problem.
When i get the system message that the battery is running out and i wait for it to discharge sometimes the MPB just shut down without apparently sleep, but when i turn it on the screen shows it went in hibernation.
Other times it goes and still in safe sleep but when i plug the magsafe it shut down immediately and i have to reboot it from hibernation every time.
Is there any way to fix this myself or i have to send it to support?

the calibration steps are:

_Connect the power adapter and leave it connected until the battery is fully charged again._
And again, when i leave the mac on battery power after the warning dialog the insane behavior occurs every time.
Can't figure out why my battery seems not to handle the 5 hour forced sleep it should.

Add logfile group without shutting down first? (10g R2)

Can I add a logfile group without first shutting down the instance? I don't see any clear statement about this in my Alapati 10g Admin book or any Oracle 10g R2 docs. Citations appreciated. Maybe this is one of those "too obvious to publish" things. My guess is that Oracle 10g R2 is smart enough to know not to write to new logfile group members until it is fully created and available for use.

Is the presumption that any "ALTER DATABASE" operation can be done online in 10g? Not Any, but Some, Yes.
For instance, the ALTER DATABASE ARCHIVELOG statement cannot be done online ( the Database should be mount ).
However about the ALTER DATABASE ADD LOGFILE statement, as previously posted, it can be done online. I've already done it on a running Production Database.
Just be careful to set the same SIZE as for the other Logfile Members.
