Which tool is the best to develop stored procedure?

Hello everyone,
which tool is the best to develop and debug stored procedure in oracle9i/10g?
Thanks

> Now i am using sqlplus to develop procedures. But I can not debug them.
How do you debug??
Bad programmers tend to need and use a debugger a lot.
I learned to program back when you were only allowed 3 compiles and link due to mainframe CPU costs. The 3rd build was the production one. If you could not cut it, you could not become a Programmer. (back then it still carried a lot of meaning and yes, people spoke of Programmers using capitals)
If you need to debug your code regularly, then you have a more serious problem. A problem of not writing PROPER MODULARISED code. A problem of not tackling programming problems LOGICALLY - by reducing the complex problem into a set of smaller problems and solving each of those in turn.
Having to trace code step by step, insert break points, and all that... Debugging must be an exception. If it is not, you must seriously consider your programming techniques and better your design skills. Get back to programming 101 fundamentals.

  • Which tool is the best one for debug java program?

    thanks for your help

Eclipse 2.0 (www.eclipse.org) debugger can take advantage of the Java 1.4 JVM Hot Swap facility allowing you to modify your code while debugging it so you can try something, change it, try it again without having to even restart your program. Great for server-side development.
Not a suprising facility since Eclipse is positioned by IBM as the replacement of Visual Age for Java which will not see further development. And unlike VAJ, it does not depend upon extremely tight coupling between IDE and JVM, it uses a file-based approach rather than the single workspace file mechanism of VAJ, allow it to have greater integration with many, many tools.
Its free, open source and is supported by a consortium including IBM, BEA WebGain, Borland, Red Hat, SuSe, Rational, TogetherSoft and Object Technology. They position it as the Apache of development tools. Some of these guys obviously want to sell you their high end plugins (Rational XDE is one good example) while others seem to be best servered by making sure their own IDE's fully support Eclipse plugins (like Borland and WebGain).

Which object-relational mapping tool is the best for Oracle Coherence?
My application is read-and-write-intensive. Which tool is most suitable for this application?
TopLink essentials, TopLink, Eclipse or Hibernate?
    Thank you

I would pick Hibernate mainly because of its popularity and wide knowledge base.
Coherence has provided some documentation for the integration.

Which one is the best approach for responsive UI development option in SharePoint 2013
Device channel or responsive UI (HTML, CSS)?

In practice you're probably going to end up with a combination. A couple of device channels for classes of device and then responsive UI within those channels to adjust to particular devices within the classes.
Of course the real answer is as always 'it depends' as you'll need to pick the best option for each client based on their needs.

  • Which Linux is the best?

    hi guys,
This is not related to java, but I am currently thinking of getting a linux OS, which linux is the best out there? redhat, mandrake, suse, or whatelse?....

    Ow
This question has been posted many times, and often enough it lead to extensive Distribution Flamewars.
But once seems to come very clear from this discusions:
SuSE and Mandrake seem to be the most newbie friendly, they have easy installer, and will configure one of the big GUI's for the user (KDE is the default on both). Unfortunately, this installers can not handle any hardware, so sometimes you will have even install probs with them (without any Linux/Unix knowledge), but even on linux there is a generic default GUI driver g.
RedHat (which is the base for Mnadrake) is on the other Hand the globaly most used distribution (SuSE leeds only at home in Germany here), so your chance to find someone who uses RH and can help you is big.
The most sophisticated L33nux users go to Debian, their apt-get is a fantastic tool for updates. But Debian is more handwork on confs.
The crazy people, with masochistic tendencies, go to slackware. I don't know if Slack 8 is still so, but earlier it was pure Linux, no nice grafical config-tools etc. There was even no handbook to it.
In terms of Java, well, I started with SuSE and am still using it (even if it tends to be a little problematic with time, because of all the newbie tools, which cause trouble with hand-made confs), and the Sun jdk's runed without problems, at this time I have jdk1.3-rc2 and 1.4-beta here running.
SUN itself seems testing the JDK's (or j2se now) on the most used RH, so it should also work well with this, and because Mandrake bases on RH, there should be also no problem.
So if you have no experience with Linux, I would suggest Mandrake or SuSE. If you have some experience with Unix/Linux (e.g. from University) RedHat is maybe better in long terms.
All this provide huge handbooks for beginners, if you buy a distri.
With a good I-Net-Connection, you can download RedHat or Mandrake for testing (SuSE too, but SuSE stoped to provide CD-Images on their server, the live - version is only for testing, not installable).

  • After completed as an MBA HR & System, Which module is the best for freshers ??

Hi,  I am Samrat Saha. I completed my post graduation as an MBA (HR&System). I did BCA in my graduation and did Higher secondary in commerce. I want to build my career in SAP. But I have some questions::
    1. If i go for SAP then which module is the best for me..??
    2. As a fresher is companies showing any interest to recruit..??
    3. I hard a Course from Victoria University, Melborn, That Is "Master of Business (Enterprise Resource planning System) with SAP".. Is this Master degree worthy to do??

    Hello Samrat,
It is not possible to provide guidance on what career path you should take.  This is a conversation you need to have with a Career Planner or perhaps one of your professors.  You should follow the path you are most interested in, be it a functional role or a technical role.  Ideally you may want to consider getting some work experience in both fields, and then determine which area you wish to pursue.
You state you have an MBA in HR & System....System what??  System development? Technology?  Programming?  Data Warehousing?  Even HR is a vast area within the SAP world.  We have Payroll, Recruiting, Self Services, Compensation, Time Management, Learning Management Systems, etc.  Most consultants select one or two areas to pursue.  There is no such thing as a single person who knows the complete SAP HR solution...it's just too big!
I will suggest that you consider taking an SAP HR course so that you can get an idea as to how large the application is.  There are lots of courses available in e-learning.  I would recommend either SAPHRE or HR050E to start.  Once you have completed one of these, you'll be in a better position to decide what you want to do, or at least decide what you don't want to do.
    Good Luck!

  • Which one is the best way in migration from sap bpc ms 5.1 to nw7.5

    Hi,
I am doing Migration project from SAP BPC MS to NW.
In this which one is the best way migrating By manually or By using SAP Migration tool.
What are the merits and demarits migrating by manually.
The data is moving from MS to NW as it is by using sap migration tool.
Could you please answer my questions as early as possible.

    Hi,
You would need manual effort anyways. Some of the objects are not either migrated or you need to update manually after the migration. Example, reports have to be modifed and as they may not work due to some of the options.
Also your packages, script logic etc have to recreated. So its upto you as the migration toosl takes across your appset, applications, dimensions and the master data etc. The manual involvement is inevitable. You need to probably take what the tool allows you to do and make manual corrections for the objects that are not supported.
    Thanks,

There is none. Whatever you do to get rid of the older versions will inevitably do damage to shared components and other stuff of the new versions as well. That's just how it is with this approach... Uninstall the older versions, run the cleaner tool then reinstall CC 2014.

  • What is the best app for storing all passwords in a secure area? osx snow leopard

What is the best app for storing all passwords in a secure area? osx snow leopard

Keychain is nice, but I prefer to use 1Password. It's got a nice user interface, and does what I need. It stores passwords, notes, identitiy info, credit card info, application registration numbers, saves hardware information such as your router settings, and more. It also has a secure password generator. There's an extension that keeps a button in the browser toolbar for Safari, etc., so you can submit your info (password, credit card) with the click of a button, and without having to type the information in through the website you are visiting. It also pays attention when you are signing in to a website, and asks you if you want to save the login to 1Password. Once you get them all entered, it's a big timesaver.

The link above says it is for OS X 10.7 and up, but if you go to the developer's website (link below), it says it works with OS X 10.6 as well. You can also download a 30-day demo from the link below.

i need to protect my macs who know which antivirus is the best?

You need to protect your Macs from antivirus software.
A plethora of companies owe their very existence to having developed anti-virus software for Windows, which required such utilities due to Microsoft's wide-open architecture as PCs were originally conceived. While their user base diminishes in a shrinking PC market, those companies are now desperately trying to assert their relevance by claiming that Macs need the same daily care and ongoing maintenance as Windows PCs. They don't. The vast majority of Mac problems reported on this site are directly attributable to such junk.
OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "speed up", "clean up", "optimize", or "accelerate" your Mac. Without exception, they will do the opposite.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources. Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iTunes or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.
Don’t install Java unless you are certain that you need it:
Java, a non-Apple product, is a potential vector for malware. If you are required to use Java, be mindful of that possibility.
Disable Java in Safari > Preferences > Security.
Despite its name JavaScript is unrelated to Java. No malware can infect your Mac through JavaScript. It’s OK to leave it enabled.
Block browser popups: Safari menu > Preferences > Security > and check "Block popup windows":
Popup windows are useful and required for some websites, but popups have devolved to become a common means to deliver targeted advertising that you probably do not want.
Popups themselves cannot infect your Mac, but many contain resource-hungry code that will slow down Internet browsing.
If you ever see a popup indicating it detected registry errors, that your Mac is infected with some ick, or that you won some prize, it is 100% fraudulent. Ignore it.
Ignore hyperventilating popular media outlets that thrive by promoting fear and discord with entertainment products arrogantly presented as "news". Learn what real threats actually exist and how to arm yourself against them:
The most serious threat to your data security is phishing. To date, most of these attempts have been pathetic and are easily recognized, but that is likely to change in the future as criminals become more clever.
OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

I am considering getting an iphone... I do not care about getting the "latest gadget", but have all apple products and would love the convenience of the calendar, music, camera, etc... on my phone. Which model is the best for me to get?
Is it really worth it for the newest (and most expensive) model, or is the 3G sufficient for regular use? or is the 4 now the most basic model I should invest in? or do I really have to get the 4S?

    View Solution.

According to page 38 of the Service and Manual guide, there are only two memory modules that have been tested and confirmed to work in this particular notebook.
If you wish to purchase this from HP, then you can do so at this link. If it does not load, you can use the 641369-001 part number to search for it. You will need two to achieve 8GB of RAM.
