If the documens are already posted, those documents cannot be posted. (You will have a green tick)
If the documents are not posted you can post them. Please note that you cannot post all the documents, based on the configuration for posting areas. Some documents are not required to be posted in posting area 2 (bank sub ledger accounting)
Refer your configuration for posting rules relating to EBS.

Hi,
first you need to find a delivery with the VL06O (for picking)
after go to VL02N, modify the delivery quantity and save. The Picking list will be automaticly printed.

In G/L account determination , under the inventory tab there are two Account Types mentioned -
1. Inventory Offset - Decr Account
2. Inventory Offset - Incr account
Which transactions in B1 would utilise these accounts ?

Hi Gautam,
This accounts will hit during transactions of Goods Receipt & Goods Issue. This two transactions are used to match the logical and physical stock differences.

CS6 Which Preset to Use for Viewing on a Windows 7 Computer

I'm using CS6 on Windows 7 and have .mts files that are approximately 35-40 minutes each. I need to get these to someone else so they can view them on a Windows 7 machine. The original files are 1440x1080. I thought if I exported them using the AVI preset it wouild knock the size down considerably (I have to upload these to an FTP site so they really should be fairly small file sizes). Unfortunately, it's only about 1/5 of the way through the first file (approximately 7-8 minutes) using Media Encoder and the file is already 1.5GBs! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I need to get these out today!

EXACTLY! That's the plan. She was actually here two weeks but training only took place the first four days. I have to edit out all the dead air, mistakes, and anything not specifically related to the training, then add a few dozen computer screen shots and create the finished product, which will probably sit on a shelf and never be looked at again .

How to do packing for a delivery? (which transaction?)

How to do packing for a outbound delivery? Which transaction is used for this purpose?
I am trying to do post goods issue for a outbound delivery but it gives me the error 'Delivery item is not or only partially packed'. How to solve this?

hi,
in the same transaction VL01n u can also do packing. on application tool bar u have a button <b>PACK(shift+F6)</b>
or choose this menu path.
<b>EDIT -> PACK</b>
u choose shipping materials and the items here for packing

SAP CM25 which profile to use and why and some general questions

I have a few general questions, if you may share your thoughts on this.
In a manufacturing environment, is CM25 more used to finite schedule the work centers or labor or both ?
Is it a good idea to even finite schedule the planned orders or just production orders ? We want to create production orders 1 week ahead of the production schedule and planned orders gets created 3-4 weeks earlier than production order gets created.
The graphical tool seems to be slow sometimes when dispatching and doing some actions on the screen, has any one have any say on this. Should we need to have better computers on the floor for this to work ?

It can be used for both depend upon bottle neck resource whether machine or labour.

Better it should be finite planning for planned order also you can use MRP with lead time scheduling.

It depends upon the data load and selection,
Restrict the number of objects to be displayed, for example, select only a small number of work-centers/orders.
Customize the time profile (transaction OPD2) such that the database read period, the planning period and the evaluation period are as small as possible. As a result, fewer objects are read and displayed.

If you want to process more orders, check whether a batch planning (planning in the background on transaction CM40) is possible.

Before customers can run an R/3 System, several system parameters must be set in Customizing for the applications. The settings of application objects form one business unit. It makes sense to maintain the relevant parameters in a single step. To do this, you use transaction SOBJ to define Customizing objects. Although the parameters of these objects may be distributed among many database tables, they can easily be maintained using maintenance views. To make usage of these maintenance views consistent, a standardized table maintenance transaction is available. This transaction is called Extended Table Maintenance ( SM30 ).
To ensure that you can make the settings in a structured way, IMG activities are provided that take you to extended table maintenance. To do this, the system calls a parameterized transaction that starts the table maintenance transaction.
Transaction OY01 (change country global parameters) starts transaction SM30 with maintenance view V_T005 . This Customizing object does not have an address.
Many Customizing objects have an address which is maintained together with the other settings. These addresses are also called Customizing addresses.

you can use the following code in the ONMANIPULATION event to modify the color of the row. but be aware that if SAP changes rendering ot htmlb:tableview it may not work.
this code sample set the bgcolor of row 2 to blue.
DATA: httpbody TYPE string .

RECEIVING
data = httpbody.
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF '<tr rr="2"' IN httpbody WITH '<tr rr="2" bgcolor="blue"' IGNORING CASE .

Bottomline: I want to find the LIKP- LIFEX field, used in which Transaction. I know it is related to inbound delivery, but i couldn't find it in which transaction it is.

The field is called External ID which equal to LIKP-LIFEX or RV50A-VERUR_LA (structure).
Path:
Goto -> Header -> Administration -> External ID.

How to extend VO which is use in VIEW LINK and VL is created dynamically.

I wants to extend VO.
This VO is used in VIEW LINK.
This VL name set dynamically, conditionally in one of the controller of page.
i.e if some condition satisfied than xyz VL will use otherwise abc VL will use.
Now,
I have extend VO as well as VL and substitute both, but I am getting null value for some of the field and also I am not able to insert/update new value.
So,
I have created VORowImpl class file which extend VOROWImpl of seeded file and chage the row class of VO.xml file to new class. i.e. modified seeded .xml code and achieve what I want.
But Is this correct way ?
Is there any other way ?

Determining Which Transaction Launcher is used

      I have a requirement to change a Standard Transaction Launcher. My question is how do I determine which Transaction launcher is being used?
     If you go to the following menu path: SPRO --> Customer Relationship Management -->UI Framework --> Technical Role Definition --> Transaction Launcher --> Copy/ Delete Launch Transactions, you will see many standard Transaction Launchers already defined. See screen shot below:
   The question is this: I am at the Standard order screen in SAP CRM CIC. There are numerous hyperlinks at the "Transaction History" tab that launch various Transaction Launchers (launching different Transactions-parameters), how do I determine which Transaction Launcher is being used for each hyperlink?
      See the screen shot below of the Transaction Launcher (hyperlinks). I need to find the Transaction Launcher that is used in these hyperlinks (I know it is not the same Transaction Launcher for all because each launches a different transaction in ECC). How do I do this?

Go to class CL_UICMP_LT_ABOXEXECUTION_IMPL, put debuger in method IP_INBOUNDPLUG( )
once the transaction launchr is executed me->handler will give the information you want.
GV_ID indicate the LTX id. Hope it helps,

How to get a message in a view which was raised in another view?

Hi All,
I have used the view manager message serviice to add my custom error message in BT126H/Apptdetails view. So if the validation fails then the message is displayed on the screen . But when I am saving the transaction the error message is getting disappeared and I am able to save the transaction. So just before saving ie in the method EH_ONSAVE in overviewset view I will query that message but as it was added in the appt details view I am not getting that message in overview set .
Can anyone tell me how can I get that particular message in overview set?

hi,
In your Subinventory LOV add Bin variable using it Query tab. which has Bind VAriable And View Criteria section.use Bind Variable section. those are in the view object level.
then your all lov include view object select and choose it View Accessors section. it has your lov and Edit your Subinventory LOV and then popup dialog box. Inside it you can make Inside Parametor section select relevant bind variable name and it need value.

Using SQL view object to create ADF table

Hi,
I have created a column called "Month" (which extracts month from the date column) and another column to count the no. of requests.
i want to create an ADF table with 2 columns, a column showing the month and another is showing the no. of requests for that month.
However, now I only managed to achieve the ADF table to show the overall total requests, which means if i add up all the requests for all the months and i get 500
My ADF table shows this:
Jan: 500
Feb: 500
Mar: 500
How should I create the view or what should I do to make it such that the no. of request is based on the month?

For the given situation you can create a Query Based View Object with the following query
SELECT
COUNT(TEMP1.DT) REQUEST,
TO_CHAR(TEMP1.DT, 'Mon') MONTH

TO_CHAR(TEMP1.DT, 'Mon')
where DT is the date column and temp1 is the name of the database table.
Following are the steps that i followed to get this query :
i have taken the following sample table :
create table temp1
(srno number primary key,
dt date)
*Note you may use any existing column instead of srno or use dt only (i took an extra column as u know we need a primary key /row id)
the following is the sample data
insert into temp1 values (1,sysdate);
insert into temp1 values (2,sysdate);
insert into temp1 values (3,add_months(sysdate,1));
insert into temp1 values (4,add_months(sysdate,1));
insert into temp1 values (5,add_months(sysdate,3));

the table appears as follows

To start with ADF View Object Creation (Using Jdeveloper 11.1.2):
Create the view object using Create View Object wizard
In Step 1. Name window
set the value for Name : Viewab (you can use any of ur choice)
In the data source section : select query
In Step 2. Query window
a. Click Query builder (it will pop up sql statment window)
b. In the SQL Statement window
in quick-pick objects section -> select temp1 table -> shuttle the columns from available list to selected list
in select clause section -> select srno column from select list-> choose count() function from function drop down list -> insert function -> set alias to REQUEST-> click validate
now select dt column from select list -> choose to_char() function -> click insert function -> alter the function to to_Char(temp1.DT,'Mon') -> set alias to Month -> click validate
in the group by clause section -> Click the green symbol to add -> from the expression palette insert dt column -> insert the to_char function -> alter the function to to_char(temp1.DT,'Mon') -> click validate
in the Entire SQL Query section -> click test query -> in the test query window -> click query result-> you will see the result -> click close -> click ok
Click next
Step 3: Bind Variables
Click Next
Step 4: Attribute Mappings
click Finish
So the view object is ready :)
