you can get diffrent issue,
1. data loading issues.
2. change request ofr new reports. suppose you client is haing 10 uniot of measure, and all reports are based on kg now due to business requiremnt they want o use all units in one reports so they may raise a new change rewquest for implementing the same.
3.you may incidents like date convertion issue.
e.g
if a routine has been written without considering leap year then you may get a change request for correcing the routines.

User Requests/Tickets are raised to address an issue (eg. data load erros/ data reconcilation / data missing issues /incorrect data in reports) or to perform some enhancement or to execute some thing that is not part of scheduled activity (for eg an adhoc load as requested by business).
Tickets can be created thru differnet methods like calling the support teams/using tools like Remedy or sending mails to support with all details and requesting for a ticket etc.
Based on the issue they will priortized like High priority, Medium priority and Low priority or Like Cat or Category 1 to Category 5 where Cat 1 indicates maximum severity and Cat 5 the lowest severity.
For each Cat/Priority there is a different SLA (Service Level Agreements) maximum alloted time to resolve the issue.This depends on each project agreement.
Cat 1 generally means high severity likt system down/no connectivity and has SLA as 3 hrs or so.
Cat 2 also means serious issues but with some less severity and has SLA as 5-7 hrs or so.
Cat 3 typically mean data load error and SLA may be 12-24 hrs or so.
Cat 4 may be data reconcillation / data missing issues /incorrect data in reports and SLA may be 2 weeks or so.
Cat 5 is enhancements and have the luxury of more time available like 3 weeks to one month or more.
This is generally a business decision.
System generated tickets are generally those in Cat 1,2 and 3.
(eg. data load erros/ data reconcilation / data missing issues /incorrect data in reports)
Invalid data.
Duplicate records.
Lock issues.
No Sid value found.
Caller 70 missing.
Idoc/tRFC error.
Error at source system etc.
Customer gerated tickets are generally those in Cat 4 & 5.
(enhancement/adhoc activities etc)
Optimizing Process chain
Reloading of R/3 data from different clusters Reconciliation issues
Changing an existing report/Creating New report.
Adding a char or KF to cube.
Performace issues.
Enhancements as per Business requirement.
This a means of not just resolving issues but also enable business to track the activities performed on the system and also for billing purposes.

It may be a Time stamp issue with DS.
Try this.
Replicate the data source in BW.
Run the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL for the source system.

The user name and password are in two places. Make sure they are correct in both locations.

First spot is here under INCOMING MAIL SERVER
Below this is OUTGOING MAIL SERVER
Select: SMTP smtp.comcast.net>> PRIMARY SERVER :smtp.comcast.net>>second location of user name and password
Here is the second place that the user name and password must be checked.
I had changed my password in the first spot, but not the second spot. I had been receiving the same error message. This fixed my problem.

Yes, but if you move the "original" data on your iMac to the Time Capsule....then the "original" data is now on the Time Capsule disk.
When...not if...the Time Capsule disk has a problem, you have no backups for this data.
Perhaps a much safer plan might be to add an external hard drive attached directly to your iMac. Then, move the data to that drive from the iMac.
Now, Time Machine will back up both your iMac and the external hard drive so you have "originals" on one drive and backups on another. Would that plan work for you?

Bex request can not collect the change of query

     Bex request can not collect the change of query automatically ,eventhough This query has ben transport before and have the same dev class with the Bex request.
        when I press the button to save the change of query , a dialog was pop up to let me assign one request to this query.

already previous request is transported to Q or P....so when ever u try to change the existing query in BI.. the assigned request is not available in 'D'. so its asking to assign a request. for this
go to transport connection in Admin Workbench>there in right top u willl find a transport symbol for bex> click that for creating a request for bex queries--> after creating that request try to open ur query and do necessary modifications, what ever the modifications you do will come under this newly created request.

Does your portal support anonymous access? If so, make sure you are using the authlessanonymous mode. This mode only creates one session that is shared for all anonymous users. This is much more efficient than anonymous access, which creates a session for each anonymous user.
I have no other recommendation for limiting users to a single login. In general, web applications do not behave like this. What if a user closes their browser without logging out? Does the user have to wait until the session times out in order to log back in again?
The same thing is true for users that are mobile. If a user leaves their office without logging out and then attempts to log in with a laptop in the conference room, then access will be denied in your implementation. Users do not expect this type of limitation being built into the system.
If you are having problems scaling, then you need to look at your architecture and perhaps add some more resources. Also, make sure you are making efficient use of the authlessanonymous access mode as stated above.

I am using MSSQL SSRS 2008.
All the reports run properly when viewed via a web browser. However for subscription, I am having a strange
experience.
The subscription having intermitten failure. I need to execute multiple times to get it work.
Following is the exception I am getting:-
Failure sending mail: The user or group name 'xxxxx' is not recognized.Mail will not be resent.
Failure writing file DailyPolicyExportCDN_ST@timestamp : The user or group name 'xxxxx' is not recognized.
Following is the exception I retrieve from log files.

According to your description, you can access your report successfully, but it fail to send e-mail subscription. Right?
In this scenario, since you can access the report successfully, so this user has permission on report server. Please go to E-mail setting in your Reporting Services Configuration Manager, check if the current user has permission on that SMTP server.
If this is still not working, please recreate the subscription and try again.

i'd like to know how can i customize the user 'connecting' R/3 and BW, i mean: when i launch a data extraction a fixed user creates the rfc connection to BW (and i can see it from tcode sm58 in r/3), i need to use a different username so that it will come be more easy for me to reorganize the rfc queue in case of errors (we are doing some testing), it's possible to do something like this or everyone has to share the same user r/3 side?

Hi...
Its recommended that only one user executes the RFC because you must manage the authorizations for remote execution only with few users....in case on error you can send the user as a parameter of the RFC and you can buid the error message with this parameter and identify the user of execution...

You can't prevent it, no. You could continually set the document modified flag to false, which would prevent regular 'Save', but they could always do 'Save As' -- nothing can stop that.
