We have no experience with this. I advice you to post a question in the JDeveloper forum and see if the JDeveloper Wizard supports UIX 2.1.20, because that is the version of UIX that will be used after you copied the UIX libraries we supply. If not, you should restore the libraries as delivered with JDeveloper.

Version 2.1.20 is beyond 2.1.7. I don't know what version is delivered with JDeveloper 9.0.3 but I as far as I know, JDeveloper 9.0.4 comes with UIX version 2.1.19.
I do not think there is that much difference between the UIX version as delivered with JDeveloper and 2.1.20, that you cannot succesfully use the online UIX Developers Guide of JDeveloper. For questions about UIX, please refer to the UIX forum (technologies -> UIX) or the JDeveloper forum.

Which JOLT version works with WLS6.1?
I heard that WLS6.1 requires Jolt 8, is that true?

from WLS 6.1? Tuxedo connector (WTC)?

  • Which Forms version works with Personal Oracle 8i

Can any one let me know which version of Forms/Developer works with Personal Oracle 8i (8.1.7)? The OS that I have Personal Oracle 8i is Windows 2000. Also is the Forms/Developer version that goes with this available for download? If yes, where?
    Thanks in advance,
    Aruna.

you can use forms/reports developer 6i (for client/server and web) against 8.1.7 P.E. on windows 2000. I tested this configuration in the past and it worked fine. You can download the forms/reports developer 6i from OTN (from the forms download page).

  • Which Mail version works with which OS version?

My ISP, Demon in the UK, has set up a system for reporting any spam which gets through their filters. Unfortunately it requires me to use Mail V2.x or V3.x. I am on Mail 1.3.11 (v622/624) under OS X 10.3.9. I can't find anything that tells me whether I can upgrade to V2 or V3.
How can I find out which version of Mail works with which version of OS?

Each version of Mail is tied to the version of Mac OS X it came with, is updated together with the rest of the system when you install a system update, and won’t work elsewhere. If you want Mail 2.x, you need Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). If you want Mail 3.x, you need Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

  • What is latest NTB version and which FF version works with it?

    I "had" FF12 and norton update somehow killed my norton toolbar. Since then, it's been almost three hours with norton tech remotely connected to me, uninstalling and reinstalling norton and FF. Rebooted about 25 times and used norton live update probably 50 times. Tried FF12, FF13 and FF14. Nothing worked, and now Java is disabled. Going in a circle;
Oddly enough, I can't find out from norton what is their latest V, and since the norton toolbar is popular, hoped someone here might know. thanks

Basically, Norton Toolbar doesn't support any version of Firefox older than 13. What you should be doing is this:
    Use Firefox 15 ([http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com])
Then, after that, update your Norton and your toolbar should work.
    [https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-15-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/791174 https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-15-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/791174]
Just as a side note, most the features from norton toolbar are built into Firefox by default, so you don't even really need to use it.

  • Which Ms office version works with BPC 5.1 sp3

Hello, just as the subject says which office versions runs with BPC 5.1 sp3?
    Best Regards
    Jojo

There are some issues with BPC 5.1 and Office 2007.  Some that I've experienced (I believe we're also on SP3)....
You have to be careful when saving reports and input templates in BPC for Excel - make sure they are saved in the 2003 version, not 2007.
Also, if you have Excel 2007 and you maintain dimension members within the BPC Admin console, you have to save the changes, get out of the member sheet, then go back into the member sheet and process the dimension.  If you try to process right after saving, you get an error.  But if you back out of the member sheet between the save and process, then the process works just fine.
Search OSS for Search term Office 2007 and Application area EPM-BPC*to find additional information regarding BPC and Office 2007.

  • UIX versions - release timeframe, frequency

    The thread
uix <messageRadioGroup> - required validator bug?
mentions UIX version 2.1.13. Some days ago I found another thread that mentions version 2.1.11 (apparently, not by an oracle employee).
There is a big gap between these two and the version distributed with jdev 903: 2.1.7
    Questions:
    1. There is any other method to obtain updated versions than regular distributions of jdev?
    2. If for the moment, the answer for q1 is no, do you plan to publish the new versions more often (i.e. patches, updates)?
    thanks
p.s. some time ago I asked if is possible to replace the naviagtion bar (the combo box) used for a table. the answer was no, but new feature were announced. do you know when this will be available?

    >
p.s. some time ago I asked if is possible toreplace
the naviagtion bar (the combo box) used for atable.
the answer was no, but new feature were announced.do
you know when this will be available? Can you clarify - which feature in particular are you
    interested in?
the scenario is very simple. having a db table containing about 10000+ rows, we create an bc4j:table bound to this db table (view). the standard version of this bc4j:table has a navigation bar on top and another on bottom. since the number of pages may be very big, the generated code for these 2 navigation bars becomes very big too... much bigger than the useful info itself. my question was if is possible to replace/remove this standard navigation bar. i would like more a structure like "start" "previous page" "next page" "end", or something like "1" "2" "3" "4" "5"... (like the a result page for a search engine).
    thanks

  • Reverting Mavericks RecoveryHD partition back to the original OS version shipped

    Hi all,
I'm trying to piece together various bits of information acquired through forums, web searches, etc. in the hopes of understanding the end result a bit better.
I currently have Mavericks installed in a VM - default system OS is still Mountain Lion, which is also the OS version contained in the current RecoveryHD partition.  I am thinking of removing the VM install and doing a straight system update from ML to Mavericks, which by design, would also update the RecoveryHD partition to Mavericks.
In the event that I choose to return to Mountain Lion (the OS version shipped with the machine), notwithstanding manual cloning/backup steps, would a full repartition of the internal HD (including recreating the Boot Camp partition later) allow for Internet Recovery to not only install Mountain Lion but recreate the Mountain Lion RecoveryHD as well?
Just trying to gain a clearer perspective on what may lay ahead of me should I choose to revert.
    Thanks!

The problem is that that page does not actually have the 10.5.0 version of java; it has 10.4 update 6, and 10.5 update's 1 through 3; not the 10.5 original.
And, that game works just fine on PC's and Linux with either Java 5 or Java 6; it's ONLY on the mac, and apparently only on the updated mac java engines.
They consider it an Apple Java fault, not their fault.
Perhaps a better question to ask: Is the Java version that shipped on the 10.5 DvD the same as the 10.4 update 6 (in which case I can download it easily), or is it upgraded to match the 10.5 OS (in which case I can't seem to find a download/downgrade online).
(Grumble. At least Microsoft Windows updates can be uninstalled.)

  • Which version of SQL Dev is included with JDev 11g?

Is there a method to tell which specific version and/or build of SQL Developer is built into JDev 11g? I've searched through the Help->About options and it mentions under the Extensions tab v11.1.1.0.30.50.26 for the SQL Developer Extensions entry, which is really a JDev version #, not a SQL Dev version #. I remember Duncan mentioning SQL Dev was specifically v1.2 or v1.4, but this doesn't seem to be reflected in the JDev about box.
    Cheers,
    CM.

Yes, silly of me, in deed. I didn't pay attention to author. I find this blog interesting for me to keep it on my regular list (that is why I read posts but I don't keep insight to author).
Anyhow, I think that reference to his blog post is useful for other readers of this thread. While Chris missed to link to his own blog, I did it for him :)
