I need to rotate the videos I have taken with my camera by 90%. I have been advised to upgrade to Elements 8.0. But there are 3 versions..please advise which will do the job I want done?

I currently connect my 2.5 Ghz Core 2 Duo 17" MacBook Pro to my Panasonic 37" Plasma ( 1080i ) via HDMI and everything works perfectly.
I use mounted server volumes over a wireless network to allow access to my movies through Front Row.No problems at all...
My question is; I want to use a Mac Mini instead of having to connect my MBP every time I want to watch a movie...anyone got an opinion on which Mini would do the job?

There's really very little to choose between the two models in terms of their overall performance and capabilities. The 2.0 model has a marginally faster CPU and double the L2 cache, but is still bottlenecked by a relatively slow hard drive, 11g wifi and identical on-board GPU.
Thus if you are streaming HD content via Front Row using an 11n network via your MBP, you may find both minis deficient, or at the very least, performing with broadly similar results.
Given the developing nature of media streaming usage in general, where it is never possible to be sure what you'll need into the future, I would be inclined to look at whether the mini will be capable of the tasks you have in mind (ie, wether it's wifi is sufficient to your needs and the mini's video will support the TV at the resolution you want, and if so then opt for the 2.0 model for it's slightly better overall performance and max-out the RAM to 4Gb (of which 3Gb will be usable by the system) to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.

Which server will get the load?

Hi all
I have 2 servers, on 'server1', I have an flv file, on
'server2', I have an swf file.
The swf file on server2 loads the flv file on server1. My
question is, which server will get the burden of the load of the
flv file? Additionally, how can I test this to confirm this (bare
in mind, I'm not a server guy).
Any help is always appreciated.

You can basically publish it to one Origin Server and that server will republish the incoming stream to other 3 origin servers. This feature is called Multi-point publish. Basically you use application.onPublish and onUnpublish handlers in conjunction with Server-side NetStream Class to achieve this.

The Tr Codes KE29N/KE28L will give me the Logs of Past TDD runs. However, i would like to see the all the variants in a go. Due to a Organizational change, there is a new characteristics introduced. Now we need to change the sequence of the TDD runs. Since there are lot of TDD Variants that are in use. we need to get all of them into an excel and then decide the necessary changes.

If i want to get a new mac but have a tight budget what will do the job well for my editing needs that will include feature length film and video. I want a new mac and not and old one.

It would be useful if you were a bit more specific about formats. You can edit most things on a MacBookPro with an external esata drive.
If you are looking a solid kit - get a MacPro with 4GB (min) ram, ATI 3870 video card, all the drive sleds filled with Hitachi 750GB or 1TB drives and a Kona LHe or Matrox MXO for color correction/ real time monitoring.
Or something in between.

A calendar is not difficult nor does it take long once you know where the dates fall.
Start with a basic month template table.
1. Click on the table icon on the Toolbar to create a basic table for one month
2. Click on the resultant table > Inspector > Table > Headers & Footers > 2nd button > 1
3. Inspector > Table > Body Rows: 6 > Body Columns: 7
4. Inspector > Metrics > Size > Width: 7 cm/in > Height: 7 cm/in
You can drag resize the whole month to your liking afterwards
5. Select the entire header row > Inspector > Table > Edit Rows & Columns > Merge Cells > Type in a month
6. Type Mon in first cell & Tue in 2nd cell of of 2nd row > Select both cells and drag the white dot in the bottom right corner sideways to fill the cells with the days
7. Do the same with the dates in the cells below
8. You can fill the spare dates at the beginning and end of the month if you like and maybe change them to a paler grey.
9. Style and position the text as you like it.
10. If you don't want to see the grid or want different strokes, colors etc:
Inspector > Table > Cell Borders/Cell Backgrounds etc
When you have the first month looking the way you want, option drag out copies sideways to make the rest of the months.

Using transaction CLOCOC select your template/task list and enter change mode. Then using the menu again select template/task list > Create Task Lists (not 'create task list'). Here you'll be able to create D-Daily, N-Periodically at Month End as per Fiscal Year Variant, T-Periodically Every Two Weeks, U-Periodically Every n Days or W-Periodically per Week. For a monthly Template/Task list you would select 'N' choose the Fiscal Year Variant and click on the Save button, this will generate 'Task Lists' for the upcoming periods. Go to the menu Template/Task List > Other Template/Task List and expand the Template to view all of the Task Lists that have been created. Hope this helps!

Intermittently my SSIS Packages which are run through the JOB are failing

Hi SSIS Guru's,
I am facing a very strange problem.
We have 2 Physical Servers (A and B) on which we have installed the SQL Server, one primary (A) and other as secondary (B). And there is a cluster (C) available to acces the running server. I have created some SSIS packages which we installed on the Server A (Primary), and created the job on the cluster server which initiates the SSIS packages, whcih are installed in the File System.
The problem i am facing is the some thing related to Connection time out. And interestingly i am not getting this error Always. Approxiamtely For Every 5 Times once it;s Failing. I am copying the errors Which i encountered in the different runs.
The thing i am confused is why i am not geting the error all the time? And Why am i getting this error all the time in a different data flow task. My SSIS Package structure is I have created one master package and 6 Child packages. I am getting the connection string for the Data base from the Configuration file which is defined in the XML File.
The connection string that i am using is

I thought i found the solution my self... I changed the delay validation to all the packages to true and the problem dissappeared

Which Macs will run the IPhone SDK

I Got spooked.
'Turns out my PowerPC processor won't allow the IPhone SDK to install even though it doesn't give me any message indicating so.
So I have to buy another machine and want to make sure it will run the IPhone SDK
How about Intel Atom Processor N270 1.6GHz single core?

That's helpful. Since I am running 10.5.5 on a real Mac and it won't take IPhone SDK now I am wondering just what will take it.
So now I know the Intel® Atom Processor® N270 in the Dell Inspirion minis won't.
Will the IPhone SDK only run in a machine built by Apple and after they started to use Intel?

Which Preview will do the code migrations?

I have tried the Tech preview 1 and now 2 and neither of them will import a 10.x project.
This late in the game I would think the migration would be done, and since there is a migration tool that pops up when you try and open an old existing project.
My project is over 1000 files, I would not want to have to massage a project of this size, just to use the newest version of JDEV

My Project consists of using the ADF/bc4j as the data model, and JSF pages.
A lot of the views are dropping thier respective java code files and need to be recreated by selecting the view object and clicking on the java file check boxes for the different layers.
The multiselect core table code that I used from the examples of the previous version are no longer valid with trinidad (this was the default option for the upgrade/migration to use trinidad).
Those were the two biggest things that I saw so far.
