  • Which version of firefox works with Windows NT, and how do I download it?

I need firefox for windows NT

Well you should have said NT4 in first post and then I would have told you that Firefox 2.0.0.20 was the last to work on Win 98/NT4 while 1.5.012 was the last for Win95 as Fx 2.0.0.* tended to crash or freeze on startup.
The error means either OLEAUT32.DLL is corrupted or outdated. A fresh install of Windows 95/98/NT4 can give this error. Also the corruption can occur if while installing a software it insists on installing a older version of OLEAUT32.DLL.
Been four or five years since I really saw anybody post about this error on Firefox startup.

I think you mean Photoshop CS2.  Photoshop 2 is from around 1992.  The old Adobe activation servers were taken down. CS2 is about a decade old Adobe made a new download for old customers that legal customers can download and install. Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products

  • What version of itunes works with windows 7 64 bit

What version of itunes works with windows 7 64 bit?  Must I use a beta version of cloud?  I generally don't want to use beta versions of software.

It should work (many, many people have it working fine) though Windows7 was officially released only 2 days ago and iTunes has not had an update since then.

  • Which version of photoshop works with MAC lion os x 10.7.4

    Hi
Which version of photoshop works with MAC lion os x 10.7.4 ?
    Thanks

    That's what I said.
It works, but Adobe doesn't list anything newer than Leopard as a requirement, and they don't specify it as a "minimum", but I have CS3 on my Snow Leopard and Lion machines. The Lion has CS4 as well, and they run quite well independently of each other.

  • Does the trial version of pse13 work with windows 8.1

Can someone please tell me if the trial version of pse13 will work with windows 8.1?  I've been trying to download and continue to get error message that "The file archive part is missing."  I have pse 7 and would like to upgrade but want to try it first.

Yes it will work. Try from this link. Select the appropriate Windows or Mac version and click the download button.

  • Which MacPro doesn't work with Windows 7

One question for curiosity and one I need to act on:
I've got a MacPro 2x2.66 GHz Intel Xeon with 5GB Ram. Is there a way for me to tell whether I can run Windows7 in a BootCamp partiton? The documentation seems to indicate that "mid 2006" version of my machine will not run Windows 7 for some reason I don't understand.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3986
Mac Pro (Mid 2006, Intel Xeon Dual-core 2.66GHz or 3GHz)
Also, I've got an existing XP BootCamp install on one of my 500 GB hard drives on my MacPro desktop which I am accessing from the other 500 GB hard drive running OSX. I am using Parallels to do this but will boot directly into XP if the software requires it for performance.
Can anyone help me figure out if I should do a Windows 7 partition on my new MacBookPro or whether I should stick with Windows XP for this partition? I also plan on accessing it via Parallels on this machine and then booting directly into the Windows partition if the need arises. I believe I will be storing all my files on the OSX "side" of the hard drive.
I guess if I do the XP install I only have to keep track of one set of drivers? Any reason to do Windows 7 on the Laptop? Any suggestions on minimum size?
    Thanks,
    Jon

I guess I can do a Win7 install on the new MacBookPro but my MacPro circa 2007 is considered a "MacPro circa 2006" and won't do what I reasonably could have expected when I bought this machine in 2007 - which is run windows software with some reasonable level of similarity to any other computer that runs windows software...

  • Photosmart 7960w printer- which driver/procedure to work with Windows 7 64-bit

RE: HP Photosmart 7960w printer- any success with a driver or workaround to use with Windows 7 64-bit? There seem to be three options on the HP site, but it's not clear at all what will work.

    Hi there,
The Photosmart 7960 Photo Printer does not have full support in Windows 7.  There is no driver available to download on the hp site, but instead there is a limited driver built into the Windows 7 operating system.  What this means is that basic print functionality will work for your product in Windows 7, but you might lose some other functionalities.  This document on the HP support site explains what is available to you.  You might also find this support document helpful.  Hope that helps!
    Thanks!

  • Which versions of DW work with Which ADDT?

    Hi,
I've been using DW MX 2004 with the Interakt Kollection.
When Adobe took over Interakt I took advantage of the offer to download ADDT, but have not used it yet.
I'm now ready to start using ADDT, and to do so I'll need to upgrade to a newer version of DW - I just want to check that the version I have of ADDT (I assume it was the original version) will work with DW CS3.
I ask because the system requirements for ADDT currently state that CS3 is required, but when I downloaded the version I have, DW 8 was the requirement, so I'm concerned that there is now a newer version of ADDT.
I hope all this makes sense!
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,
ADDT is still compatible with DW CS3 only
but when I downloaded the version I have, DW 8 was the requirement, so I'm concerned that there is now a newer version of ADDT
it´s still ADDT version 1.0, and the official pages still say you need DW CS3 -- where have you seen that "DW 8 required" statement ?

  • Which version do I work with (Pages or Word)?

Help me out here (please). I am now working with Pages, sharing documents with dozens of behind the times colleagues who are using some old program called "Word." It's my job to work with these people and I'm trying to make it as easy for everyone as possible.
Do I have this right? When I create a document (or open an old Word document into pages), in order to be able to share it with people, I save it, and check the box to save a copy in Word format. Then when I send my documents, I make sure to attach the Word version. Yes?
What happens if I open the Word version and make changes to it? Do I have to do something differently to make sure I have both versions identical? Am I better off always to open the Pages document to work on, then save and send?
    More questions:
Do I always then have two versions of the same document (like I would if I did this same thing with pdf)?
How do I make sure that the Word version is always up to date since that is the one I am sending to colleagues? Do I always have to save and check the box, and then select the correct document to send?
I do see that when sending a single document I can easily send it while I am in the document itself. When I do this, selecting to send it as a Word document (or a pdf for that matter), will it send the version I most recently saved, or the version that is on my screen (if I forgot to save changes)?
FInally, I'd be open to any tips from people working regularly with others who must use Word. I want it to work as simply as possible, but want to set up some good habits from the beginning.
Finally, finally, have you had problems with compatibility. I have to say that there hasn't been a Word document yet that I've opened that I haven't gotten a message that says that Pages doesn't support some aspect of the document and formatting is removed, or spacing is different, etc. I'm a bit nervous about this--can anyone ease my mind? Perhaps I'm not doing things correctly?
    Thanks a million!
