Which version of JDeveloper 11 was Oracle EM 12c built with?

I would like to know which version of JDeveloper/ADF 11g was used to build EM 12.
Thanks,
Wes

FWK.H (11.5.9 or 11.5.10 base release)
You need JDeveloper from Patch 4045639 (9IJDEVELOPER WITH OA EXTENSION ARU FOR FWK.H)

  • Which version of jdeveloper has Search option in view editor of VO ?

Hi Can anybody tell me which version of jdeveloper has Search option in view editor of VO ?

    He ???
You want to build a search form in your application for users to filter the execution of a View Object, or do you look for a search form in the editing environment to get you quickly to a View Object property to edit? In the first case, please read the documentation, its available in all 11g releases (including yours) : Creating ADF Databound Search Forms. In the latter case use the Property Inspector for a VO.

  • Which version of SAP was EC-CS introduced? --Urgent

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me which version of SAP was EC-CS introduced? Was it 4.6C or later?
    thanks

    Hi,
I am not sure of actual version, but referring to help in SAP we can conclude the it existed as of Release 4.0b, of course with not the full functionality as of today.
    Please refer to link below:-
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_40b/helpdata/en/72/c199d3546a11d182cc0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
The last sentence of the help can lead to more information...
The R/3 Consolidation system EC-CS is available as of Release 3.0 on a project basis only. A standard delivery of the application will be possible with a later release.

  • Which version of JDeveloper has been used

    hi
If one would stumble upon some source files of an ADF application for which there is not much context available (like e.g. in the forum thread "SelectBooleanCheckBox/SelectBooleanRadio and getTransaction().isDirty()") ...
... (q1) How can be determined which exact version of JDeveloper has been used to create (or work on) the ADF application?
    many thanks

Thanks for the replies John and Timo.

I wonder what the Oracle intended/preferred approach is to determined the version of JDeveloper to use, based on the ADF application source files alone, answering (q1).
(Also when extension are taken into account, see for example the somewhat related questions in forum thread "use the same extensions for all developers".)

  • Which version of OCCI for Oracle XE 10.2?

    Hi,
I have Oracle XE, Linux version 10.2.0.1 installed. I want to connect my C++ application running on the same machine as the database.
I've seen lots of dire warnings about the importance of making sure that the right versions are installed, but after trawling through the (frankly confusing) documentation I can't for the life of me work out which version of the OCCI I'm supposed to use to connect to this version of the database. Can somebody please tell me?
Also, as I want to run this application on the same machine as the database, can I use some of the libraries that are installed with Oracle 10g, rather than having to install them separately?
    Thanks,
    L.

    Hi,
The key parts where the version is truly important when using OCCI are:
    - the compiler (and runtime libraries)
    - the OCCI libraries
    - the Oracle Client version
Under Linux the OCCI version 10.2 libraries are compatible with gcc (g++) 3.4.3 through 4.1.x versions so you should be OK with that part.
When using Express Edition on Linux and having everything on the same machine you automatically have a "match" between the Oracle Client and OCCI libraries (since they are all under the one and only Oracle Home).
On my Express Edition test machine I have the following version of gcc and I have not had any issues (so far!) with OCCI and the database installed "as is":
    [oracle@oel02 ~]$ g++ --version
    g++ (GCC) 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3.1)

  • Which version of JDeveloper should I use for Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2?

I am developing a stand alone application using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3, because I don't want to use the OAF extension. Can I run this stand alone application using Oracle Applications server (Oracle Applications version 11.5.10.2)? If no, which JDeveloper version should I use? If yes, could you please provide some direction on the deployment of stand alone application? Thanks in advance.

If you are using the application server that comes with Oracle Applications - you probably need to use the JDeveloper version that comes with that one too. (The OAF forum will have more info on this).
If you are using JDeveloper 10.1.3 then you can use a stand alone OC4J 10.1.3 to deploy your applications - and save yourself the hassle of messing up with your apps server.

  • Which version of DB for OEM Grid 12c is stable?

    Hello friends.
My intention is to set up a new OEM Grid 12C OMS installation.
This will be for a relatively small number of databases, approx. 40 or 50, mixture of production and test/dev.
I intend on having the OEM repository database on the same server (or VM) as the OMS software.
I've done it this way in the past and it works fine without any resource contention (regardless what Oracle recommends).
The question I have is if I set up the OMS 12c, what is the latest and most stable (recommended) version of database to use for the OEM repository database.
My initial thoughts were to use 11.2.0.4 EE, because I'm not crazy about using the first version of an Oracle database release (i.e., 12.1).
In the past, for every version I can remember going back to v.6, the second release resolved all the major issues with the first release, and also included new features that didn't make it into the first release.
My installation will be on a VM running Redhat Linux 6.4.
    Thank you in advance...
I've found the OEM forum and moved this message to the OEM forum.

If your OMS is installed on a host that is protected by a firewall and the Management Agents that provide management data are on the other side of the firewall, you must perform the following tasks:
Configure the OMS to use a proxy server for its communications to the Management Agents.
Configure the firewall to allow incoming HTTP traffic from the Management Agents on the Management Repository upload port.
Check this documentation link below, it will help you. " Configuring EM for firewalls"

  • In which version of SAP was BADI introduced

    Hi Experts,
We are using SAP 4.6C. I am not able to find BADIs for VA21. My question is know when were BADIs introduced. I think they were introduced in 4.6c but many additional functionality was added in 4.7.
Can anyone through some light in this regard.
    Regards,
    Chitrasen

    Hello,
    in general BADI's were introduced (i think )  in Rel.4.7. .
But specially in the SD - Area there are no usable BADI's even in ERP2004 - the BADI's which are existing there are 'Only for SAP-useage'. So it takes a while to get off the old form-routines
    'USEREXIT...'.

  • Version of JDeveloper

    Hi All!
I need to ask which version of JDeveloper is supporting building java portlets
for 9iASPortal,is this necessary to use 9i Jdeveloper??
plz let me know where documentation for this can be found to have a start .
    any help or clues freinds!!

You don't need to use any specific version of JDeveloper to develop portlets although the later version that support remote debugging are VERY useful. All you need is JDeveloper and a copy of the JPDK from portal studio. If you are using linux, then the 9i version is probably what you want because you can run it on unix (it's all Java)

  • Which version of labview?

How can I tell which version of labview was used to create a vi and application?
    Is there a VI viewer.

    Hi Sally,
No VI viewer as far as I know... To know the version of LV used... hummm... ... Do you have any idea if it's close to LV2 or LV8 ?
There might be some tricks but I would try open with LV5, then LV6 and so on starting from the oldest version you have.
When you know the first digit (e.g. LV7) I have no idea of how to find out if ti was LV7.0 or 7.1 or 7.1.1....
I often have to switch form a version to another when I maintain old apps so I always put that kind of info in the "documentation" of my VI...
