Which version of QT 7 was/is included in the OSX 10.4.6 update

I have had 10.4.2 & QT 7.0 installed on my iMac G5 for nearly 18 months and have not had any problems whatsoever until one of my apps crashed my system over the weekend. I've done enough diagnostics to conclude that it will be simplest / easiest / fastest for me to wipe the HD and reinstall from scratch.
While I could just reimage my HD from the backup image I made when I originally installed my system (10.4.2 + QT 7.0), I'm considering updating beyond that, probably to 10.4.6
I've searched Apple downloads and previous versions of QuickTime don't appear to be available anymore - only QT 7.1.5. and 7.1.6. But I am reluctant to install QT 7.1.5 or 7.1.6 based on problems I've seen here and in the Final Cut Express forum.
Anyone know which version of QT 7 was packaged in the OSX 10.4.6 update?

Updates don't necessarily improve things and the point updates often create as many problems as they solve. The combination of 10.4.2 and QT 7.0 has been rock solid and problem free for me.
I only update under controlled circumstances because I value system stability very highly. I have worked with and supported thousands of systems over the years and I can guarantee that the wanton application of updates is the #1 cause of problems.
The software crash I mentioned happened while iDVD5 was reconnecting media in a project that had been moved to a different hard drive. It corrupted something in QuickTime as well as the disk catalog on one of my backup drives. I don't believe it's a repairable problem and decided to reinstall the system. For me, that opened the question of whether or not to reinstall my existing disk image or build a new one from scratch.
OSX 10.4.9 has created major headaches for users of Final Cut Express and the QuickTime forum is full of problems associated with 7.1.5 & 7.1.6.
I am looking for recommendations on specific releases of QT (in this forum) and OSX that users have found to be especially solid.

Thx, but i had already read that and tried it: did not work.
Got it fixed now by reinstalling Logic Studio 9 from DVD.
That indeed creates the Logic Pro folder in Applications - something I had tried earlier by simply moving my existing Logic folder. This means the Logic 9.1.5 update does not simply check a folder name: there must be another entry/registry entry it checks. Reinstalling Logic Studio from scratch solved it for me.
After reinstalling thought Lion forgot my Focusrite Saffire 40, so no DAW. Solved that by reading a forum entry on beta drivers.
So I am happy, music creation wise.
Left for me is to solve the X Mail application saying it does not run under Lion!

For others benefit, here is what happened.
I had installed Logic Studio 9.1 some time ago.......not knowing what all the programs were nor what they did, I created a "Logic Studio" subfolder in my applications folder and put all Logic Studio programs into it so I'd know where they were and could review each at my leisure over time.
My assumption now is that when the updater looks for the Logic Pro program, it looks only in the applications folder. It seems lame that it would not also look in the subfolders of the applications folder, but that apparently IS the way it works. Because my Logic Pro program was located in the "Logic Studio" subfolder, the updater just didn't see it..hence the error message I received when I tried to update.
Solution: I moved all the Logic Studio programs out of the subfolder and now they reside in the applications folder. Ran the 9.1.5 updater and it worked like a charm.

That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it...

I have a user that tried to open a PDF file that contained the Win32/Pdfjsc.AMJ Exploit, and I'm wondering which versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat are affected by it. I would also like to know what this exploit is capable of doing if the versions she was using are affected. The versions of Acrobat/Reader that her workstation have are Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5.5 and Adobe Reader 11.0.0.7.

Thank you Sabian, it was difficult to find Win32/Pdfjsc.AMJ and CVE-2013-2729 in the same paragraph, but ended up deciding that they correlate with each other and this article does cover those vulnerabilities. I appreciate your reply. Since I try very hard to keep my patches up to date it appears that we were not affected by this vulnerability.
So off topic - do you prefer Sabian or Zildjian cymbals?

Are Any Applications Included On The OSX 10.4.3 DVD ?

My eMac came with Panther installed. I later upgraded it with OSX 10.4.3. (YES! There is such a DVD!)
Now I want to completely erase my HD and reinstall Tiger. The erasure is necessary because I want to change the partitioning of the HD etc.
I could simply reinstall my original eMac Panther based system and then upgrade to Tiger.
However, for various complicated reasons, I would prefer simply to erase my HD and install Tiger straight away.
I believe that by doing this I would probably have few, if any, of the original applications installed.
What applications are included on my OSX 10.4.3 DVD and is there anything else that is likely to be missing?
Could I later install any programs I require from the original eMac DVDs?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Apart from the OS you have the option of (not) installing Address Book, iCal, iChat, iTunes, Mail, Oxford Dictionaries, Safari & X11. You can also opt in or out of loading language translations, additional fonts and a whole slew of printer drivers.

Yes. They are on those disks as 'Software Restore'. To see what you get insert the 1st disk (if you have 2), double click on Software restore, let the mini app install and you will get to a list of the various Apps that came with your eMac.

install BEFORE I start erasing anything?
Again, yes. Insert the Tiger DVD, double click on 'Optional Installs', agree to the licence, 'Next', and you will get to a selection screen showing the apps I've listed above.
In your position, once I'd sorted the partitioning, I would install Tiger and any/all of the options you want from the Tiger disk, then run Software Update and permissions repair before restoring software from your Panther disks. Then run Software Update again for the apps to be updated, and permissions again.

I found out there were 2 versions from websites.. Please someone let me know what type of LCD is there in the FHD version.. I want to switch it for an IPS panel.. if its not a slim type then it wont be possible..

Hi Jonas, Thank you for the response.I had actually bought it manufacture refurbished from a store after a lot of researching and hoping, believing that it might work... but it did not hence I have now sold it... I also have returned the IPS Panel to the online shop... however before returning I did some tests and found that when I connected the eDP port to the IPS panel and turned on the system , I could see the BIOS boot (Thinkpad logo) and the windows logo (blue square thingy with a black cross), but after that all I got is a black screen, so I left the laptop running, plugged out the eDP cable and put it into the original display just to see it come back to life with the home screen. I think this has something to do with windows or something else like TN being normally white and IPS being normally black etc, but I could not test any further. I hope this experiment of mine proves useful to someone else trying the same thing. Now I have sold everything and ordered a new Thinkpad T550 with a 15.5 3K IPS screen, Core i5-5200U, nVidia GeForce 940M, 8GB DDR3L, 1TB HDD, 24 GB SSD, backlit US layout keyboard. I got the 3.6.15 update, which was supposed to correct the Flash/Jave problems from update 3.16.4, but it hasn't. I still can't play Pogo or watch videos!

I got the 3.16.5 update yesterday. Pogo still won't work and I'm having to play through IE.

I am having some similar problems with youtube, I can view one video maximum and after, I am getting the sound and the egg timer, nothing else

I'm a bit worried about my mail database on my OSX 10.8 Server.
I'm using Time Machine all the time to backup the server but I'm not quite sure if the mail database (send/recieved/folders/users) of all my accounts are saved with Time Machine or not.
Does anyone know what directories are saved using Time Machine on a Server? Was digging through the backup but it told me I don't have rights to view the filders :/ bummer

For the list of supported 'filetypes' which the ESA should be able to identify is when you click on attachment-filetypes on the content filter, the drop down would give a general classification as well as the list of supported extension.
If you do not see the extension within the list here, then the suggested workaround is to use regex matching for the extension file names.
attachment file info -> filename -> contains -> (?i)(\.(java|jar|js|jsx|jse|job))
