I'm slightly lost here. It shows that I can buy Adobe Flash
CS3 professional for $599 and that is the program BUY ITSELF!!

Then, I found this Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium package
which included Dreamweaver, photoshop, Flash CS3 Professional and a
whole crap load of other programs all for $499!!!

That doesn't make sense. Is there a reason for the price
differences, or some kind of catch behind purchasing the cheaper
one, or how does this work. What do I look to buy?

The Web Premuim is only $499 if you are upgrading from
Macromedia Studio or a previous version of Creative Suite.
Obviously, these products would have cost some $$$ before so they
give you a break. The full version is $1599.
EDIT: It looks like you have referenced the educational
version of the product. Obviously this requires special criteria to
purchase and the product can not be used for commercial use.
Also, Adobe's website shows the full version of Flash for
$699.
I would buy as much as you can afford. I recently purchased
the CS3 Master Collection Suite and I love it. Adobe has done a
tremendous job with integrating their products with the other
products they have picked up over the past couple years with
acquisitions (including Flash).

You would need manual effort anyways. Some of the objects are not either migrated or you need to update manually after the migration. Example, reports have to be modifed and as they may not work due to some of the options.
Also your packages, script logic etc have to recreated. So its upto you as the migration toosl takes across your appset, applications, dimensions and the master data etc. The manual involvement is inevitable. You need to probably take what the tool allows you to do and make manual corrections for the objects that are not supported.

There is none. Whatever you do to get rid of the older versions will inevitably do damage to shared components and other stuff of the new versions as well. That's just how it is with this approach... Uninstall the older versions, run the cleaner tool then reinstall CC 2014.

Use the initialize array function on the outside of a loop wired to the input of a shift register. If you can initialize the memory on the outside of the loop, it will reserve this range for use inside the loop.

I'll give you my input/opinion based on my own experience. Others may have additional considerations to add, or may want to disagree with some of my points:
Benefits of JSPs:
1. This is an evolving technology that a lot of people are now using. It is very powerful, and the performance is pretty good.
2. It is much easier to deploy than an applet.
3. It will continue to improve and be easier to work with, especially with our upcoming 3.2 release.
4. Does not require a lot of Java experience.
Drawbacks of JSPs:
1. No GUI editor for laying out the user interface. You are using HTML code in a text editor, which is trickier to see how the UI will look as you go. Again, this will continue to improve over time, and our 3.2 release will make it a little easier to deal with the HTML and Java code.
Benefits of Applets:
1. There is a UI editor for designing the layout, but layout in Java can be tricky.
Drawbacks of Applets:
1. Deployment can be very error prone.
2. Subject to security restrictions such as the database you connect to and the webserver the applet runs from must be on the same machine. You can work around this, but it complicates matters.
3. Clients need to have the Java Plug-in installed with their browser.
4. Performance is not great, especially for a lot of data going back and forth.
5. Requires that the applet code is downloaded to the client, temporarily at least, at runtime. The more code you have in your applet, the longer it takes to download when the client invokes it.
Bottom line is that Applets are fine for small tasks, and are preferable for 'intranet' use versus 'internet' use (outside).

content search web part always provides best performance because it uses the search. only consideration you need to take is, it does not display the changes immediately and you need to wait for the incremental crawl to happen.

s long as they already have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed in it.All a person needs to do with that type of iMac is to upgrade/max out their Ram. They claim that an Interl iMac with Core 2 Duo is all that is needed, as long as it has OS 10.6.8 installed. They say you don`t need the "Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor"
But I wonder about the RAM speed, the iMac 2.33Ghz uses DDR2 SDRAM, which I believe is rated at 667Mhz. Lion maybe installed but it might be problems running smoothly or not?
Did some quick checking and the iMacs apple is selling this year use 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM.
The only thing to do is to make sure you have a good back-up, Install your RAM and install Snow Leo, then wait a couple of hours and install Lion.
