  • Unable to Sign In into presentation services and online RPD obiee11.1.1.3.0

    Hi,
    I am using OBIEE11g (11.1.1.3.0) on Windows 64bit server, suddenly i have problem i could not able to login my Dashboard and RPD (online mode) [i.e: i am able to login offline mode in RPD] but Weblogic console and EM and OPMN all services are up .
    Please check the below error:in RPD
    http://imageshare.web.id/images/ra9qhx8pm4liwsk1rexd.jpg
    In EM:
    http://imageshare.web.id/images/y06x8bu0huhoisyqy718.jpg
    while testing DSN also error
    http://imageshare.web.id/images/zgq47suhrjabe3ye2ck.jpg
    Last few months ago i have faced the same issue ..then i resolved below method
    Unable to Sign In into presentation services and RPD obiee 11
    Issue :I had a trouble to login into RPD (online mode) the Presentation services lately.
    It was working fine before and after changed console user sequrity things changed and was having issues to login lately after that.
    It always gives me invalid username/Password was entered message when I tried to login no matter what ever username I tried.
    I was able to login into Enterprise manger and Weblogic Admin console successfully with out any issues. All the processes are up and running with out any issues.
    Tried rebooting successfully and still it wont let me login into Answers. So I tried if i could login into Admin tool and it wont let me login there as well.
    So I created new Admin user in the Weblogin console and tried to login using the new user and still no luck. The new admin will let me login into the EM and WLC but not into Answers and rpd.
    I tried deleting old references of the user directories in the catalog and still no luck.
    It has something to do with the credential store. What ever user name I created its not mapping it to the Answers/rpd inspite of both the services are running
    Solution:
    ======
    1. Please follow instructions given in
    How to fix “Unable to Sign in. An error occured during Authentication" error when a user logs in OBIEE 11g (Doc ID 1302924.1) step by step, for those steps you have done, please double check and make sure what you've done are correct.
    2. You are still not able to logon because you have missed a few steps as the following:
    8. Edit the NQSConfig.INI file to reset the FMW_UPDATE_ROLE_AND_USER_REF_GUIDS = YES to NO and restart the Oracle BI Servers.
    9. Remove, set to none, or comment out the line (see UpgradeAndExit in the following example) added to the instanceconfig.xml file (that instructs Oracle BI Presentation Server to refresh GUIDs on restart).
    10. <ps:Catalog xmlns:ps="oracle.bi.presentation.services/config/v1.1">
    11. <ps:UpgradeAndExit>false</ps:UpgradeAndExit>
    12. <ps:UpdateAccountGUIDs>none</ps:UpdateAccountGUIDs>
    13. Restart the Presentation Server for the instanceconfig.xml file that was updated.
    14. Make sure Oracle WebLogic Server and the system components are also running, if they are not running, restart them.
    b) Relogin as the problematic user to verify if you still see the “Unable to Sign In” error
    Step 2 : Delete user from rpd if present
    a)Launch admin tool and open rpd in OFFLINE Mode
    b)Click Manage > Identity > Users tab to verify if you see this user present
    Note : Normally you will only see list of users when you open rpd in ONLINE mode. Unless the users were created manually in rpd, no users should be visible in OFFLINE mode
    c)If the user is present, delete this user entry from rpd
    d)save rpd and deploy this changed rpd using EM
    e)restart OBI Server component
    f)relogin as the problematic user to see if you still see “Unable to Sign In” error
    Step 3 : Delete the cacheduserinfo file from webcatalog
    If Step1 and Step2 does not work, then do the following
    Note : In the example below, catalog name is SampleApp and the user who gets “invalid Login” error is Administrator user.
    a)Take a backup of your webcatalog
    b)Navigate to C:\OBIEE11G\instances\instance2\bifoundation\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\catalog\SampleApp\root\users\Administrator\_prefs
    c)Delete the files name cacheduserinfo and cacheduserinfo.atr
    d)Launch OBIEE 11.1.1.3 and test by logging in as the specific user.
    the best one is 3rd one.
    but the above all methods also not working
    Kindly check and help me on that ...
    Thanks

  • Unable to sign in into iMessage using my apple id

    I have turned off iMessage on my iPhone 4 device then turned it back on again to activate it asks to sign in usin Apple ID account. I enter the User name/Password correctly it return back a messge saying the username or passwrod for the account is in correct. While I can sign in to the Apple Store and iCloud services with no issues using the same credentials.
    I have tried resetting the password but still the same issue.
    Please assist on resolving the issue.
    Regard....
    Basil A. Ansari

    I searched for you and found this answer:
    com.apple.appleaccount error 403 is the "best guess" error presented by IOS 7 when it see's the 3 user creation limit is reached and you attempt to create a new ICloud account by logging into ICloud on phone that has used all 3 account creation limit set by Apple.
    Fix: go to a different Apple device that has not burned up its 3 per device ICloud account creations and setup the account there.
    NOTE: you will use up one of the 3 maximum ICloud account creations on the device you use.

  • I accidentally tapped "Forget this Network" while attempting to sign in to my wi-fi. Now I am unable to sign in to my wi-fi. Please HELP me reset the "Forget this Network" so I am able to sign in.

    I accidentally tapped "Forget this Network" while attempting to sing into my wi-fi network. Now I am unable to sign into my wi-fi network. If anyone can tell me how to undo this "Forget this Network" it wound be most helpful. Thank you.

    All you need to do is input your wifi password. If you cant remember it, try looking on the router. It might say somthing like WEP key, or WPA key.

  • Unable to Sign In to iTunes from apple tv (1st Gen). GRRRRR!!!!

    Two days ago I was searching for movies to rent. So I casually went on to the Apple TV to browse all the HD movies. The #1 movie was Iron Man 2 (I watched the preview), #2 was Get Him to The Greek. I decided to opt for the comedy and rented Get Him to The Greek right from my Apple TV. I watched it and all was right with the world.
    The next night I decided that I'd rent Iron Man 2 (wife's out of town). So I go into the Apple TV to get it since I knew that it was the #1 top rental the previous night was Iron Man 2. Much to my surprise, Iron Man 2 was nowhere to be found in the iTunes store on the Apple TV. Not further down the top rentals list. Not in the alphabetical listing of all movies, not even in the search. "Well that's bizarre," I said to myself. "I wonder if I can find it in the regular iTunes store on my Mac Pro?" Well sure enough, iRon Man 2 was there. So I rented it on the Mac Pro. Curiously, it didn't show up on my Apple TV. I waited and waited. So I went back to iTunes and, oh silly me, I have to put it there in the iTunes sync dialog and then sync the Apple TV. I did that, and since it was late, I went to bed.
    Today, I finally got the kids to bed and cleaned up and decided to watch my rented Iron Man 2. Fire up the Apple TV, see that Iron Man 2 is right there at the front of the listed movies on my Apple TV. Sweet. Select, select play, settle in with a nice drink and ....
    Your Apple TV is not authorized to play this content.
    What the?!?!
    Hrm. That's weird. Well let me double check that I can play Toy Story (a movie I had downloaded and watched with my boy a while back). Yup, Toy Story works all right. So I decided to futz around a bit to see if I could figure out *** is wrong. Over to the settings list, hmm, maybe I should try the "Downloads" option? Click. Okay it says "Check for Downloads." Sure why not. Click. Enter your Apple ID. Yeah okay. Now enter your password. Done. And...
    Unable to Sign In.
    The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again.
    What? Oh silly me, I must have made a mistake and entered the wrong email address or password. I'll just do it again, I'm sure it'll work this time. And...
    Unable to Sign In.
    The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again.
    Um. Okay, third time's the charm. First let's go into iTunes on my Mac to make sure that I really am entering the right information. Yup, exactly what I thought I entered on the Apple TV. So back to the Apple TV to enter the username (and triple checking it) and the password (carefully inspecting each character as I do it). Still no luck.
    Well I guess I'll look up this error online. I found an Apple Support document that indicates there is a problem with aol.com email addresses to log onto iTunes from the Apple TV. That shouldn't be it, I'm using a gmail.com address. Then I found an Apple Discussions link from 2008 where people were flustered by this issue. A few had gotten their Apple TVs to work again by unplugging the Apple TV and deauthorizing and reauthorizing the computer the Apple TV is sync'd to, plugging the apple TV back in and syncing the Apple TV back to the computer.
    I gave that the old college try. I came back to try the Apple TV and still got that Iron Man 2 was not authorized on the Apple TV. I thought I'd try Toy Story just to make sure that it still worked. Now that movie said the Apple TV was not authorized to play that movie.
    I'm going backwards! Things that were working now aren't and I've spent my entire night trying to figure this crap out. Someone please help me make this "just work" so I don't have to go and smash it to pieces with a baseball bat. My stats as of right now:
    1) I can't log into my iTunes account from anywhere it asks for it on the Apple TV. I've tried settings>downloads, settings>general>itunes store, settings>general>network>test network.
    2) I can't log into my YouTube account. I've triple checked that my information is correct.
    3) I can't play any movies purchased through iTunes even if they were purchased from my Apple TV.
    4) I CAN play music and a music video that I purchased on my Apple TV and music I purchased from my Mac.
    5) I can play a TV season that I purchased some time ago on the Apple TV.
    6) I can log into my account in iTunes from both of my Macs.
    Oh also to get the easy questions out of the way: 1) Yes I'm 100% certain that I entered my username and password correctly. 2) I am completely up to date with my iTunes software on the Mac and my Apple TV software (as far as I can tell).
    I'm trying to stay calm and keep things light. But holy crap this is frustrating. I spent good money on the movies that I can't watch. I wasted hours and hours of my time troubleshooting and researching only to find myself going backwards and losing the ability to play things that I once had no problems playing. This just isn't working and I wasted my whole night on it. Someone please help!

    I cannot help you other than to say I have exactly the same problem and have been trying to resolve it for over an hour now with no luck.
    Besides unplugging and replugging in my ATV I have also tried:
    - resetting my password to the same thing
    - resetting my password to something else
    - creating a new Apple ID and trying to use it
    None of this works.
    At this point I am guessing that Apple's servers are hosed and the error message is just incorrect. Hopefully they will fix the problem at their end over the weekend.
    And yes. Holy crap this is frustrating is putting it mildly.
    It amazes me that just a few hours ago I was playing with FaceTime and thinking very positively of Apple, but now I'm just ****** at what is clearly a screw up on their part.

  • Unable to sign SOAP Kerberos Token Profile message

    I'm constructing a SOAP Kerberos Token Profile message in Java 1.6 and am unable to sign the BinarySecurityToken to send to a .NET service.
    My aim is to achieve SSO from the Windows Desktop for the user that has already logged on using a Java Client.
    (i.e. I don't want to use JAAS to ask the user to login again).
    Based on my reading so far, I'm using the javax.security.auth.useSubjectCredsOnly set to false to force the use of the underlying mechanism (in this case the windows credential cache).
    I've also configured the jaas.conf as follows:
    com.sun.security.jgss.initiate {
    com.sun.security.auth.module.Krb5LoginModule required debug=true useTicketCache=true doNotPrompt=true;
    My problem is this, in order to sign the BinarySecurityToken element, which contains the Base64 encoded Kerberos service ticket, I need to gain access to the shared session key which is embedded in the service ticket.
    Some other posts, in particular this (excellently written) one,
    http://thejavamonkey.blogspot.com/2008/05/hacking-jvm-kerberos-libraries-session.html
    demonstrate how to do this, by this assumes the use of a JAAS subject and takes advantage of the feature that the GSS-API copies the session key to the private credentials of the Subject when initiating a security context.
    However I cannot use storekey=true in combination with the above configuration, as the excerpt from the Krb5LoginModule states:
    storeKey=true useTicketCache = true doNotPrompt=true;;
    This is an illegal combination since storeKey is set to true but the key can not be obtained either by prompting the user or from the keytab.A configuratin error will occur.
    I note that when I step through the code, the session key does indeed seem to be available on the gssCredential object as a property:
    gssCredential->tempCred->sessionKey->keyBytes[16]
    which seems to be the expected session key size 16 * 8 = 128 (Basic128)
    However I cannot find any GSS API method that can obtain this key! I note another reference from the Oracle API:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/apirefs.1111/e10678/oracle/security/xmlsec/wss/kerberos/package-summary.html
    In particular this handy method:
    <ul><li>Sign/Encrypt using the kerberos session key
         There is no public API to get the session key, so we have provided a utility method.
         SecretKey sessionKey = KerberosUtils.getSessionKey(gssContext);
         WSSEncryptionParams eParams = new WSSEncryptionParams(XMLURI.alg_tripleDES_CBC, sessionKey, null, null, str);
         WSSecurity.encryptNoEncKey(...)
    </li>
    </ul>
    This looks like exactly what I'm after however this API seems related to Oracle 11g so I'm not sure if it is:
    - open source
    - if this is the intended usage by the GSS API developers?
    Any help on this point would be very greatly appreciated!
    Edited by: jas71 on Aug 4, 2010 8:49 AM

    Validation of the signature on the .NET server is failing with the following error:
    *The key size requirements for the 'Basic128' algorithm suite are not met by the
    'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.KerberosReceiverSecurityToken' token which has key
    size of '64'*
    I'm using the session key to create the signature value as follows:
    private static String generateSignatureValue(byte[] sessionKey, String cipherText) {
    final String mode = "HmacSHA1";
    final SecretKey key = new SecretKeySpec(sessionKey, mode);
    Mac mac;
    try {
    mac = Mac.getInstance(mode);
    mac.init(key);
    byte[] signatureValueBytes = mac.doFinal(cipherText.getBytes());
    return new String(Base64.encodeBase64(signatureValueBytes));
    The error is surprising given that the session key used in this method is actually 16 bytes long and would appear to meet the key size requirements (16 * 8 = 128 bit)?
    This appears to be the last piece in the puzzle, signing the Kerberos Token Profile SOAP request.

  • IMessaging offline - unable to sign in

    For several days now, I have been unable to sign in to iMessaging on my MacBook Pro. I did not sign out, the program just decided that I was offline as some point while my laptop was "sleeping". *iMessaging is working fine on my iPhone and iPad. When I try to sign in to the service, I get a brief window showing the configured settings (my phone number and email address for sending) but then I get an error that says: Could not sign in to iMessage. The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later."
    I can't find recent threads that suggest anything other than deleting passwords due to a corruption in the keychain. I have done that, but still no luck. I have tried signing in with a different Apple ID and that delivers the same result.
    How can iMessaging just go offline by itself and then continually fail when signing in? I've checked the server status and everythign is offline. I see that others have had this exact same problem in the past, but nobody else seems to be currently posting about this as an active and ongoing problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    This could be a complicated problem to solve, as there are many possible causes for it. Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Before proceeding, test on another network, if possible. That could be a public Wi-Fi hotspot, if your computer is portable, or a cellular network if you have a mobile device that can share its Internet connection. If you find that iMessage works on the other network, the problem is in your network or at your ISP, not in your computer.
    Step 1
    Check the status of the service. If the service is down, wait tor it to come back up. There may be a localized outage, even if the status indicator is green.
    Step 2
    Restart your broadband device and your router, if different. You may have to skip this step if you don't control those devices.
    Step 3
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ About This Mac
    Below the "OS X" legend in the window that opens, the OS version appears. Click the version line twice to display the serial number. If the number is missing or obviously invalid, take the machine to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to have the problem corrected.
    Step 4
    Take the steps suggested in this support article. If you don't understand some of the steps or can't carry them out, ask for guidance.
    Step 5
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
    If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If the box marked SOCKS Proxy is checked, uncheck it. You don’t need to change any other settings in the window. Click OK and then Apply. Test.
    The result may be that you can't connect to the Internet at all. Revert the change if that happens, or if iMessage still doesn't work. Remember that you must Apply any changes you make in the preference pane before they take effect.
    Step 6
    Select from the menu bar
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Storage
    and click
    Block all sites from storing information on this computer
    Close the preference pane.
    Step 7
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    If iMessage worked in the guest account, stop here and post your results.
    Step 8
    Boot in safe mode and log in. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs.  The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and test again.
    If iMessage worked in safe mode, but didn't work when you booted out of safe mode, stop here and post your results.
    Step 9
    Reset the NVRAM.
    Step 10
    Reinstall OS X.
    Step 11
    If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support.

  • Account getting logged off and unable to sign on?

    Hello. I have this problem for over 5 months now and its crap.. What happends is i just make a new account and the next day its signed offline and its unable to sign in.. I have this problem with over 25 accounts. I will get signed off randomly and its unable to sign in  tryed to contact skype support they ill just ay unable to verify. If someone can please help me that would be awsome thanks.

    OK..
    since i wasnt able to make any connection with the bluetooth or the wifi, i downlaoded bluetooth programs from itunes(BTShareFree, PhotoShare, i think ether of these would work), i synced it to my iphone, started it and tapped connect.  It asked me if i want it to turn on the bluetooth and search-i said yes and left it aside for a while.  After ~5 mins i took the phone in my hands again, minimised the program went to settings and there i was able to access the bluetooth and saw the toogle.  I rebooted the phone and it was fixed.  I was able to manipulate wifi and bt again.
    P.S.the first time i did this, i tryed to set the bluetooth to "off" state but it showed the loading ring again so i restarted the bluetooth app i synced before and did the same procedure(went to settings and had the bluetooth toogle in final position[on]-not in loading state).  After this i went to General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.  After the phone rebooted they were "stucked" again so i did the same procedure again and did the same i wrote above.  It work as a charm.  I wasnt able to stuck it again so i can record video tutorial, hope this was helpful-if u have any questions ask here, if i can help im gonna try.  Hope u fix it too,
    cya.

  • Netflix login error "Unable to sign in. Log in in progress (140)."

    I've gotten the same error message when I try to sign in to Netflix through Apple TV:
    "Unable to sign in. Log in in progress (140)."
    I was previously able to sign in and view content on Netflix through my Apple TV. And I can still do so through the Netflix website and through my Xbox. It doesn't appear to be an account problem.
    Do I need to reset something?
    Anyone had similar problems?

    Just a couple notes for anyone coming onto this thread -- in general this worked for me, but:
    * My time zone is set to "Cupertino" - always has been, and I didn't see any reason to change it, and the reset still worked.  So I think this was a red herring to make you think you were doing something substantive besides a simple reset.
    * I held down "down" and "menu" for about 15 seconds and nothing happened, but as soon as I let up the screen went black, then the Apple logo appeared.  So the Apple logo may not automatically appear *while* you're holding down the buttons.

    I restarted my I phone while updating the Ios6 ans the apple sign keep appearing and disappearing?

    You likely corrupted the iPod by interrupting the update process.  Try connecting to iTunes and restoring it there. If iTunes does not recognize the device, try connecting it in recovery mode using the instructions in this Apple support document.

  • Unable to sign in to ovi store and download apps

    I received two download links from the Nokia website upon request.  Clicking on the link gets me to the download site and it asks me to sign in or register if I don't have a Nokia account.  Whoever designed this was either on drugs or intoxicated, because without a nokia account they don't send you a download link in the first place.  Since I do post this message here, I obviously did register and have an account.  The problem is, my username and Password is not being recognized and it sends me into a never ending loop, with other words I am unable to sign in and download the application.
    i am at my wits ends and I am fuming at Nokia for giving me such a hard time to download a simple mobile app.
    My phone model is the E71x and both apps I received the link for are supposed to be compatible with this model.
    Has anybody ever had a similar problem?   Please enlighten me if you know the solution.
    Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I think I got the solution!!!!!
    Yesterday I was so fed up with it, spending from 09:00 till 22:00 trying to fix this, but finally it works on my Nokia E72.
    I noticed that every time I filled in my username, it first showed me alternative names and texts. When I chose the right one, it put an extra space behind it. Then I found that this auto tekst thing was messing **bleep** up.
    Open a new text message ( SMS ), fill in a receiver, and subject and then go to the message text field. Than hit the 'options' button.  Scroll down, until you find an option like text options. ( I have a Dutch version here ). Because I hate my computer/phone to interfere with thing I type I de-selected all options and voila.... it works.
