we are using SRM 7 SP13 classic scenario.while creating RFx getting error.
Line 0001: Item type 'Service' not allowed for this Item.
i created SC with free text and selected type -service .when purchaser is trying to create RFx getting error like

Hi Vijay ,
SRM does not support hierarchy in service for operational documents like PO, contract, confirmation and invoice in SRM 7. It does support hierarchy in service only for RFx doucments. You need to activate the hierarchy template for SRM for that.
This error comes from the validation regarding item process type. You could trace the error by setting an external breakpoint at class /sappssrm/cl_ih_cust_prov, method: get_allowed_ipt.

Seems like you are missing entry in Trx OBYC - GBB/VAX or GBB/VAY. The long text of the error message would tell you where to maintain the entries. If that is VAX or VAY you would need to maintain the 'Cost of Goods Sold a/c there according to the valuation class.

According to your description and error message, usually, the error 1431 happen if the mirroring breaks. The principal server is not configured for mirroring any more
, but the mirror server still thinks that he is the mirror partner. The state of the Mirror server is
“Disconnected”. I recommend you run the following statement at
the Mirror server.
ALTER DATABASE “DBNAME” SET PARTNER OFF
Then remove the mirroring partnership from the mirror server, run the mirroring wizard again on the principal server.

Item info gets blanked while creating RFx response

Hi,
I am facing a strange issue while creating the RFx response (SRM 7.0).
when I try to create a Bid, the item info (required quantity and Unit) gets blanked and this fields are blocked.
Did any one faced any similar issue. Any possible solutions.

As you do not have info record, then tax code defaulted in the Purchase order by maintaining condition record only with your material (may be with other criteria)which you said item number 10.More details on default tax code, check link:

First of all the sicf transaction is to be used only if you use the internal ITS.
Now you have to put an external breakpoint in the source code of the ABAP Program or FM you want to debug , one of these in your case :

While creating an update rule I am getting an error that Info source doesnot exist though the inf source is active.
here is error:

In order to be able to maintain the update rules an active communication structure must be available.
Procedure
This error message can have two causes.
No active communication structure exists.
Activate the communication structure in the Data Warehousing Workbench.
No communication structure exists for the InfoSource.
Create a communication structure in the Data Warehousing Workbench for the InfoSource.

Create an info source first and assign it to your datasource and map the fileds in transfer rules and activate it.
Then try to create the update rules between your target and info source.

While creating rtf through AMS 4.0, we are getting the error message:

perhaps my help is still useful.
On the end of the Customization Manager procedure you will find a status checker. The purpose of status checker is to review the individual steps and highlight the job/job step under trouble.
In your case, one of the sub jobs, here "Package creation request failed" is erroring out. It can be that the AMP plug in is not completely configured, or requires a patch.
You should run as first the diagnostic for Customization Manager, to see if the expected configuration is in place. You may also drill down to the individual step logs (within job details) to check if there are any further details.
Regarding rft: usually you use rtf in combination with BI Publisher. If this is the case, please make sure that you have entered the right $Header$ string
into the properties for your rtf. This is required to inform adpatch to which data source the rtf belongs to.

Don't know if your question has been resolved, but check the leave cycle date types on IT0041 and IT0001 and IT0007 should all be aligned.

Prob While Creating Customer Master - Error Msg "Number '0' Not defined"

Dear Experts,
I am Trying to create a customer with diff SP, SH, BP and PY. I was able to create Customer for BP and PY.
But now when I go and try to created a SH customer with xd01 for my Sales.Org (99SS-XS-X1),
In the Sales Area Data, Partner Function Tab, Partner function field the Number is 0 before the SH function field (instead of Internal / Blank) and at the bottom give the error Msg that "Number '0' is not define". I have Cross checked the my Number ranges(no-22 from 7000-7999), account groups(ZA22) and Partner function (SH), everything seems to Ok. But unable to find the solution. plz help me with this if you have ever come across such a prob.
I would like to mention that the previously had no issues in creating customers following same procedure. I guess some one must have changed some settings by accident.
This prob is only specific while creating only SP and SH Customers.

Thanks Amit for your valuable suggestion, But today I was able to solve the problem with help of my trainer, Someone has changed the default settings in partner determination, the solution is below which will help anyone who may come across a similar Problem.
Spro->IMG->Sales & Distribution->Basic Functions->Partner Determination->Setup Partner Determination->Setup Partner Determination for Customer Master->Partner Functions
Find the partner Function SP/SH/BP/PY there partner type should be KU. If anyone changes this settings Then the above problem arises.

While processing C015 - Getting Error 'Reservation 000005089 is already being Processed "

I have created a customized Program script which will process MB1A , MIGO and CO15 simultaneously
MB1A - using BAPI
MIGO and CO15 using BADI
When i process for few records everything works fine. But when i process for 2000 records , after processing i am getting error at C015 "Reservation 000005089 is already being Processed".
I tried with wait time up to 8 seconds after MB1A , still i am getting same error.
Can any one suggest how to fix the issue.

While running servlets getting errors 404 or 505 resource not found

I'm novice to J2EE.
I've encountered a problem while accessing the deployed module in weblogic 8.1 server.
I'm sure that the webapplication module is deployed as i saw my module in administration console & also the status said that it is deployed.
when i access my web application by specifying the proper server and port no and context root it is showing
either 505 - resource not found error(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh) or 404 - not found error.( http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh)
Now let me elaborate what i've done till now.
My webapplication folder structure is : C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\applications\Suresh\WEB-INF\classes\Sai\ServExamp.class
My servlet is ServExamp.java
I created a folder called "Suresh". In that folder created another folder called "WEB-INF". In WEB-INF created a folder called "Classes".
Since my servlet is in package "Sai", the .class file reside in \Suresh\WEB-INF\Classes\Sai\ServExamp.class

*3) Navigated to the location of your web application folder (Suresh). There was a radio button next to it indicating that I can select that folder as a valid web application.*

I clicked Deploy.

I Clicked on "Suresh"( my web application) then clicked the testing tab, then clicked the link shown there(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2).
It was not showing my servlet (showed a 403 error)

If you're correct, and it's deployed, that would suggest that the URL you gave is incorrect.
