While creating the project contract, contract line tab is grayed out

We are implementing Oracle contracts and while creating the contract, contract line tab is grayed out. I can not inset the contract lines in it. Can you please help.

We have created a template for a project type in cProjects. When i try to create a project by copying the template and choose "Template Type" as 'Project Template' and 'Project Type' then in the field of 'Template' i cannot see the templates which are created for the selected project type.

Hi
1. While creating the template, you should maintain the project type for which this template would be used. I believe you would have done this.
2. The template has to be released. only after this, it can be used as a template to create projects.

While creating SO with BOM material, plant is getting grayed out.

I am trying to create a sales order with BOM material.
As soon as I give the material, sub items are getting added but I am not able to modify the plant for main item, fields such as plant, item category are gettinh grayed out.
Is this related to item category or any other setting,

Hi,
The field is getting greyed, because you created BOM for perticular plant and it's unique.
Second is about to item category, when explode bom in sales order then main item become HIGHER LEVEL ITEM,and all other are child or sub item,once it is at higher level it is in display mode,

Error when creating SharePoint WebPart - "An error occurred while generating the project"

I am getting a Error in Visual Studio when I create a SharePoint Web Part.. "An error occurred while generating the project. Please see the Visual Studio Output window for more information."
I have checked the Output window and there is noting in it. When I click OK I get the next error that states "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
After I click oky.. There seems to be files missing in the project menu..
I am using Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate and SharePoint 2013 Enterprise. These run on Windows Server 2012 R2..
This mind boggling.. Hope someone can help me..

Hi,
For better troubleshooting, I suggest you do as the followings:
Create a new clean project. In this projcect, you can just create a new web part to check whehter it works.
Debug the project step by step and try to find which object reference not set to an instance of an object.

An error occured while creating the new dataset Could not get type informat

Uses: Windows XP Pro SP3+; OracleXE; Oracle 8i Client; ODP.NET; Visual Studio 2005 PRO;
I had OracleXE and was using OracleXE's Oracle.DataAccess Version 10.2.0.100 which was located in C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\BIN. Then to use Oracle Developer Tools for VS, I installed ODAC where the Oracle.DataAccess's version was 2.111.6.20.
Everything connected via SqlPlus and even was able to Oracle XE Home page and was able to loginto it. Further, was even able to create connection with Oracle Dot Net Provider. The problem was created when I tried to create a datasource from DataSource Menu in VS.2005. It was giving an error saying "An error occured while creating the new dataset Could not get type information for dataset". However I wittnessed that Dataset is been created in Solutions Explorer but not in Data Source Tab. Further researching I was able to create Datasets with Microsofts Oracle Data provider with out any issue.
My Path variable list the following:

Also noted that while deploying at client site I started gett'n this error:
"Unable to install or run the application. The application requires that assembly Oracle.DataAcces version be installed in Global Assembly Cache First."
Is it due to change in the production machine? Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Which enhancement package are you on currently? This is observed in cases where originals in DIR's are invisible and sometimes error message 26296 occurs in transaction CV01n. Hence,please check your entries in the table SDOKPROP to avoid such a problem in your system.
Further,suggest you explore if the below resolutions can be adopted in your case.

Error while Creating Charm Project

Hi
I am configuring CHARM Sol 7.1 SP11.
TMS landscape is as follows
DEV100-->QAS200-->PRD300 (QAS & PRD as Virtual systems). we have created virtual systems and flagged as a virtual system in smsy.
I have created the project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN and assigned the logical components.
While performing the CHECK under Change Management tab in Check TMS domains "RFC destination Cannot be determined"
Any pointers on how to resolve this?

Before you start with activating CHARM it is important that you create a transport link from the Solution Manager to the ABAP managed system domain controller. Once this is done, your Solution Manager is able to retrieve the TMS information from the transport domain controller.
To create a trasport link, open transaction STMS on the Solution Manager and link with the ABAP target system via a trusted RFC.
You will then not receive the error messages in TMS anymore.

While creating the networks under WBS it's giving error

Hi experts,
i am not able to create the network under WBS element. while creating the Networks it's asking Scheduling type under scheluling tab. I tryed giving with backwards and forwards options, after press the enter it's says"The factory calendar does not exist (contact system administrator)". I am facing this error..

Hi,
Check if you have maintained a factory calendar in the following;
1. OPSA - For project profile
2. SPRO --> Enterprise structure --> Defintion -> Logistics General -> Define, Copy, Check plant. Check the factory calendar for the plant.
Ensure the calendar is created and defined in your system.
Also, maintain scheduling type in OPU6 T-code for the network.

Backup Fail with Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on the Shadow Copy Provider, Event ID 12293, error returned while creating the volume shadow copy 0x8004230f,

We are using TINA backup solution and windows 2003 backup is failling with VSS error.
For testing purpose we initiate a system state backup (or any file backup) with the help of windows 2003 ntbackup.exe and found it is failing with below error.

Next I check Shadow Copies details from volume properties (right click on C or other drive then select properties then click on Shadow Copies Tab) and found it is showing the same error code..
From this error it is clear that the issue is inside the registry hive and due to junk hive shadow copies services not able to working properly.
For me the server have two disk we check disk signature at MBR and found the disk signature was.
Signature disk 0 : 9351912b
Signature disk 0 : FDFBE035
But at registry we found lot of nonexistance signature. Which indicate lot of junk valu inside registry.
Now how can we resolve this issue?
It is very simple just delete the registry key “volume” (registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\STORAGE\Volume”) and reboot the server it will “Volume” registry hive automatically.
Note:
When you remove registry key it is showing error unable to delete, then please right click on it select permission then take ownership and assign full permission to your login account.
Please be careful when you delete registry key because system can fully crashed if you delete or modify wrong registry key.
Your can take a backup of the registry key by exporting.

Getting error while creating the variable of Schema Element type

For creating a variable of schema element type I am doing the following steps...
Select 'Variables' after right clicking on bpel process. IN this window, go to 'Create VAriable' then select 'Element' type. Now in Type Choose, I expanded the my imported schema files. And selected a element type, then click ok to create this variable... I am getting the message...
IN ORDER TO SAVE IMPORTED WSDL/SCHEMA FILES, YOU MUST HAVE A PARTNER LINK LOCATED UNDER THE CURRENT PROJECT DIRECTORY.
What is mean by that.
I have imported the schema files in project. AFter that I have imported them into the WSDL also. Now why I am getting error while creating the variable. However I can create variable directly in .BPEL file then everything is fine. And it is working also. But what is mean with the above error? Why I am not able to create variable through GUI?

The idea is that the jdeveloper is not very good working with directories with spaces on the directory name. If you move all your work to a directory without spaces, it will work smoothly. At least, it had worked for me.

Summary : Here we are creating the PR in the sale order and STO is created using the same PR to procure the materials from the WM plant to sale order plant. Since here intialy we are moving the stock to our sale order in WM plant and then picking the same. But while creating the Transfer order system is not picking the sale order stock in WM plant.

While creating a project in Garage Band my sample tracks were cut short then overwritten in soundtrack pro. Any ideas why? and how to get my tracks back?

While creating a project in Garage Band 09 my sample tracks were being cut short- I then discovered they had been overwritten in soundtrack pro.
Any ideas why? and how to get my tracks back?
I never opened soundtrack pro to edit the track just Garage band....the track just mysteriously saved as half the track.
I am running Lion and I upgraded my Garage band to '11 hoping it would resolve the issue...it didn't. Now I can't find that tracks at all.
The 2 songs having the issue are titled Exotic Yearning and Reunion.
I am in the process of reinstalling the audio content from my discs. I just don't want to run into this again.
Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated!

After spending some time reinstalling the soundtrack pro 3 content I opened the full track called Reunion.
It showed back up in Garage Band.*It was the full track and wasn't chopped off until I dragged it onto the project. Then it showed up chopped.
Then I closed Garaged band and opened soundtrack pro 3....The song was again chopped off at the 1:33min mark
Very Frusterated...:(

Error while creating the Organization structure.

I am trying to create an Organization structure in SRM 5 sytem, I have created a Root for the structure and when i try to click on the Attribute Inheritance or the Check tab below i am getting an error "Start program BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL first (see note 563180 and long text)" but i have replicated one plant from the R/3 system using BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED and the material groups and all the other relevant datas from R/3. I can see in the table BBP_LOCMAP the plant been associated with the relevant company code. I am now struck in creating the organization structure. I am not sure where i am going wrong while creating the Org model.Please give me your valuable inputs to overcome this error.

Add an X to the following entry:
Group = EBP
Sem abbr. = LMIGR
Val. Abbr. = X
Description = Locations Successfully Migrated
This tell the system that the locations have been replicated and the error indicating location get all needs be executed will go away.
