Have you tried to logout and login to EM?
EM has known bugs that I also faced during application deployment.
Have you tried to deploy from JDeveloper?

I am using NWDS (NW Version: 7.0.18). For a particular java file I am getting this error:

No the "MyFolder" is not in the root. Normally if we give the file name alone, it will store in a directory. Instead of storing in that directory, i want to have create another subfolder under that directory and storing the file in it. This is my need.

Initially I installed Jdeveloper along with Weblogic and got the below error while deploying. Later I uninstalled Jdeveloper and weblogic, etc and installed a new weblogic on my local machine and tried to deploy ear. But still got the same error. With the same installable file and same ear, we could deploy successfully on my colleagues' machine. Any idea?.

Check in the corresponding applcation.xml for entries
like <multiplicity>one</multiplicity>, <multiplicity>many</multiplicity> and replace them with <multiplicity>One</multiplicity> ,
<multiplicity>Many</multiplicity> respectively.

Error while deploying EAR

I was trying to deploy EAR at Sun 8.1 Q2. But I got the following error:
Fatal Error from EJB Compiler -- Caught javax.ejb.EJBException while processing CMP beans for application [testApp]; module [testEJB.jar]: nested exception is: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.abc.ejb.actionItemBean. See log for details.
testEJB.jar is my EJB module, and actionItemBean is an entity bean included in my jar file. I am able to deploy testEJB.jar as EJB module at Sun app server.
Any idea to resolve the problem is appreciated!

You may want to extract the EAR, check testApp's META-INF, application descriptor e.g. application-client.xml, and make sure it refers to correct package name used in actionItemBean.java. Then bundle the EAR and redeploy it

I have added reference to JCO in application-j2ee-engine.xml.

Hi Again,
Now with a different problem.
I have removed configuration and imported the configuration again. But now it is not recognizing API ( created by me with all common classes as java project).
Structre of the application is as follows
Cedapp - ear file
Cedejb - ejb module
Cedweb web module
Cedapi - java project with common classes used in both ejb module and web module and published as library. This refered in both the ejbmodule and web module.
The problem now I am facing is that cedapi is not getting recognized by ejb module or web module. But it is available in used dcs of each.

ClassNotFoundException while deploying ear

I get the following exception while deploying an ear in weblogic 8.1:
weblogic.utils.AssertionError: ***** ASSERTION FAILED ***** - with nested exception:
[java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.ual.nvt.ejb.common.SessionFacade_t5vfow_HomeImpl]
Here com.ual.nvt.ejb.common.SessionFacade is the SessionBean in the ejb jar in the ear.
What could be the possible reason?

Hi,
Check your application libraries. This kind of errors occur when both app and server refer to same/both have same libraries. Either remove(externally) the library from your app after create EAR or remove it from server.
or
You can do following modification in the app as a quick solution.
Put following tag in to application WEB-INF\weblogic.xml file.
<container-descriptor>
<prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
</container-descriptor>
This tag use to force the server to use only application WEB-INF folder libraries.
