While downloading free trial of cs5.5 creative suite after 99% done it stops and says error 101 ?

What does error 101 mean and how do i fix this?

It had problems completing the download.  Where are you choosing to download the install files too?

    I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

    If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

    I downloaded the free 30 day trial of Adobe Illustrator on my Surface Pro 3.  The download process has seemed to go okay, the app says it is updated.  When I go to open it, cursor spins for a second but nothing happens.

  • Trying to download new software and it goes through whole process, stops and says "error...check network connectivity" although I am online.

    Is anyone else having trouble downloading the newest software update for the iphone? I have tried to run it several times, only to keep getting the error message. I am online and it is telling me the network has timed out.

    Start by working through the suggestions in this Apple support document.  The cause could be any AntiVirus or Security you have installed and running on your system.

  • I purchased a redemption code and redeemed it but creative cloud will only let me download free trials

    I purchased a redemption code from the school that I work at (I'm staff that will be using the programs to work from home.) I followed the links provided and entered the redemption code which brought me to download the creative cloud desktop app. After I signed in I wasn't able to do anything but download free trials even though I paid for access to the entire creative suite. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Anyway, i just want to get the applications back onto my computer. i tried to enter the serial numbers on my original packaging but systems side error message from Adobe says they were already "redeemed" (which makes sense bc I already downloaded the updates. Apparently there is no phone customer service for Creative Suite anymore. ARRGGG. Any and all suggestions welcome!

    there is no update from 5.5. to 6.0.
    you could have upgraded from 5.5 to 6.0, but you would know that because you paid money.
    assuming you paid no money for a 6.0 upgrade, you still have your 5.5 license.  uninstall clean and reinstall 5.5 per http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

    Please download it from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=coldfusion&promoid=DJDUK use your Adobe ID and password to login and download CF11.
    Let me know in case you face any issue while downloading it, if you get any error try another browser.

    I am trying to get adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator as a free trial on my Mac computer to see if I like it and want to buy it. When I go onto the website to download it onto the computer I get to the part where it says to sign in or create a account but it won't allow me to click on either one of the options. Just to try I tried it on my windows computer to see if it would work and I was able to download it onto the computer. I used a mac computer with adobe software at school and would prefer to use it over the windows. Please help me get this free trial onto my computer.

    Scrappy1 what do you mean exactly by doing a scan?
    Under Windows 7 you will want to use the Programs and Features Control Panel to remove your installation.  I would recommend verifying that Photoshop Lightroom is removed from the list of installed applications.
