While extarcting from R/3, the [b]delta load[/b]

Hello All
While extarcting from R/3, the delta load runs daily and extracts some amount of data,but today it extracted 3 times the amount of data when compared to yesterdays
I could'nt able to findout exactly what will be reason.Might be in source the data will be added.But how to make conform of this that data in R/3 is created more.
In source R/3 where can we check for this particular datasource that how much records are being there before extraction
How to findout this
Can anyone will help me out this

This RSA3 tcode gives us details of Full Load
it will give for all the data which are present in the datasource(if we dont mention any selection).
I want to track for only one delta load which was extarcted in todays morning delta load. Is there any other way.
suppose think like if there is a selection 001.2007 to 006.2007 for FISCPERIOD and daily this load will run based on this selections.Now if you chk in RSA3 all the data will be displayed withing this selection.But what i need is i want to track for only todays delta run

It's a delta load, so my question is can we delete the data update 'Repeat of last delta' without destroying the daily delta load.

Thank you. I actually went for another solution.
I'm still not convienced that if I delete the request if wouldn't mess up our daily delta load (I'll try this on our sandbox). Instead I leave the request as you said in the DSO's and the made a selective deletion on the cube (with request SID as criteria).

If you want to check the records daily instead of checking the data in R/3 manually ......
You can try this...
If you have staging DSO(level 1) that means whatever data is in source system load it to Staging DSO without any routines or any modifications.
Now load this DSO data to Cube or DSO(level 2) as per your requirement with routines etc.
Now Staging DSO contains Source system data.
Now the level 2 Cube or DSO contains BW data with some modifications.
Now create a Multiprovider based on level 1 and level 2 data targets.
Now create a report on which keyfigures you want to test the data.
In Multiprovider there is a field called 0infoprovider in data packet dimension.
you can drag this infoprovider to the columns and restict your keyfigures with level 1 and level 2 data targets.
In the first column you can see the level 1 DSO data ( source system data),in the 2nd column you can see the BW data.
Now create a formula which gives the diffrence b/n level 1 and level2.
that is R/3 data - BW data.
If the diffrence is zero both R/3 and BW data are same.
if the diffrence is not eqaul to zero check whether any routine is there or not.

How do I stop a query from running when the page is loaded

I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. I have a JSPX page that is used to collect search parameters and then when a button is clicked uses those values to run a query and then populate a table on the same page. The problem is that when the page is loaded the system attempts to run the query. The query is a method in a session bean. I can keep the method from running the query code by wrapping it in an 'if' statement and checking the parameters for null (or other value). Once the parameters are collected the query is invoked but it looks like the method is running twice, once with the parameters (here I've checked that the result actually has rows in the list) and then again where the parameters are null and the method returns null.
What is the best way to do what I want here? From the buttons action method I am called the session beam method and returning null to stay on the same page. I think that is why the method is running the second time and returning null.

How to handle the error delta load?

We have a InfoCube include three InfoSource: 2LIS_11_VAITM, 2LIS_12_VCITM, 2LIS_13_VDITM.
The delta load of 2LIS_12_VCITM failed on Oct 23,2006. It blocked all of the latter data load, even though 2LIS_11_VATIM and 2LIS_13_VDITM load the data successfully. And 2LIS_12_VCITM didn't do any load step after Oct 23, 2006.
How should I do to fix this problem and make all of the data can be go into InfoCube correctly?

Thanks so much for you help. Currently, the data loaded successfully.
But I have another issue, because of the failed request status is red, it seems it blocked all of data to go into InfoCube (even though the delta load is successful). I can not see the new data in the InfoCube. And in the InfoCube manage, the "Request for Reporting Available" field for the successful request is null.
How should I do?

Need help in correcting the BW Delta loads

I have deleted entire data of the data targets and the init request of that data target,
but I need to correct that now, please guide me with ur suggestions:
I have tried with the following options, but it is not bringing the old data from the r3 system.
1) I ran the init without data transfer and then the delta, but it didn't bring any records.
2)I ran the init without data trnafer and then did the fullload, but I am unable to activate the full load request as it gave the error message indicating there is init, so full request can't be activated.\
I am using 3.5 system.
Please give ur suggestion.

Hi,
Since you are using an AP (A/c Payable) extractor, it is FI related & do as one of the fellow users has suggested.
Kindly go through the Notes mentioned above.
You need to fill the setup tables only if its Logistics data (LO).
Also, try doing a fresh INIT with Data Trasnfer. And, then setup your Delta InfoPackage in the Process Chain.

ADF method call to fetch data from DB before the initiator page loads

Hello everyone
I'm developing an application using Oracle BPM 11.1.1.6.0 and JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0
I want to fetch some data from the database before the initiator task, so that when the user clicks on the process name, his/her history will be shown to them before proceeding.
It was possible to have a service task before the initiator task in JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0, but I have moved to 11.1.1.6.0 and it clearly mentions this to be an illegal way.
I came across this thread which suggested to do this using an ADF method call, but I don't know how since I'm new to ADF.

I checked that article however I think I might be able to do what I want using ADF BC.
See, what I'm trying to do is to get a record from a database and show it to the user on the initiator UI.
I have been able to work with ADF BC and View Objects to get all the rows and show them to the user in a table.
However, when I try to run the same query in the parameterized form to just return a single row, I hit a wall.
In short, My problem is like this:
I have an Application Module which has an entity object and a view object.
My database is SQL Server 2008.
when I try to create a new read only view object to return a single row I face the problem.
The query I have in the query section of my View Object is like this:
select *
from dbo.Employee
where EmployeeCode= 99which works fine.
However when I define a bind variable, input_code for example, and change the query to the following it won't validate.
select *
from dbo.Employee
where EmployeeCode= :input_codeIt just keeps saying incorrect syntax near ":" I don't know if this has to do with my DB not being Oracle or I'm doing something wrong.
Can you help me with this problem please?

Error in delta load of 'Customer Group' from R/3 to CRM

Hi Experts,
I added new 'Customer Groups' in R/3. But this is not being updated in CRM. Do I have to trigger initial load again through R3AS or should I create new Customer Groups in CRM?
The BP delta load BDocs are stuck in SMW01 due to this change. Also, if I need to do the Initial load of Customer Group, which object do I need to do the load for? Is it dnl_cust_sales?
Please help as it is a Production issue.

Hi Pat,
Use object 'DNL_CUST_SALES' to download Customer Group from R/3 to CRM.
Use R3AS4 transaction to execute the same.

You must see this in WE05 or BD87. Just release the idoc and have a look at we05 or bd87 and limit down the time where to search. in sm58 you can only see the idoc ith the system can not log on to the remote system. Did you check sm58 in the target system? did you check bd87 in the target system?

since there are different types of GL accounts like expense , inventory .
so he can guide you well what GL account is correct
as well check product category vs gl account configuration.

Table on delta loads from data mart

Hi,
I am loading data from two DSO's (let's call them A and B) to another DSO (B) in BI 7 with a BW3.5 delta infopackage.
Now I want to know where I can find information on the timestamp or last request from the last delta load from A and B to C.
So in fact I would like to know how the system knows which requests in A en B have not been loaded to C yet at the next delta load.
In which table can I find the information for ODS A and B that is used by the system to define what data in the change log has been loaded or not to ODS C or other targets. (In fact I should have a comparison table in BW as ROOS* in R3)

I know how to check everything in the Workbench, but I want to know where the information of the delta is stored technically.
Just for the sake of completeness:
Due to some issues; several successive loads from A and B were correctly loaded into DSO C (the 'new' table), but could not be activated. It is not possible to do a repeat or anything else. I am not going into too much detail, but just take this for granted.
The only way we can 'solve' the problem is to make the system believe that the 3 last loads (activated data) in A and the two last loads in B have not been loaded to C yet. Just deleting the last delta's in C and do a new delta from A and B to C will not work.
Therefore I want to 'manipulate' the table that is being read by a delta load. If I can change the timestamp or request numbers in that table, I can make the system believe that some requests have not been loaded to C yet.
Dirty, but it should work I think. But I am still figuring out what table contains information about the datamart data source (8A and 8B) and the last delta load to the targets.

Problem while issueing from batch

Dear Gurus
Suppose I have got a finished product x for this I have maintained a bom of suppose a, b,c all three roh.Out of these 3 I have say c batch managed. Through mb1c suppose I recieved roh c in different batches and kept them in the store.Now after creating production order in the order bom I am mentioning batch for the material c i.e I am telling from which batch it should issue.While issueing from mb1a to the order if I issue full quantity of c then the sytem is doing it without any problem from that batch that I mentioned in production order.If suppose I issue partial quantity of c then also it is taking but if I again try to issue the rest of the partial quantity the system is giving the error message 'issue quantity is greater than the reservation quantity'.For other roh which are not maintained in batch the system is allowing to issue as many number of times as required up to the reservation quantity.
Please tell me the reason why it is behaving like this

Hi,
As per the scenario given by you, you are not using the Automatic Batch determination Process for system to check the stock of BOM item material and assign the btach in Production order.
You are assigning manually the btach number in the production order component overview against the component. As you are not issuing the material in a single storke system is giving this message.
As suggested by Brahmankar you can either set the message as "Warning" OR "Balnk (No Information)" in Tcode : OMCQ and then try issuing the material against the production order in partial qualtities.

Problem with delta load urgent!!

I have a problem with delta load
We have an IP, which loads data from R/3 system daily, its a delta load to the ODS and it updates to the cube with the selection on Company Codes and 0FISCPER
we are in 3.5 system
For a couple of company codes A & B, the init was done for the period 07.2010 to 12.2099 and after tht the deltas are loaded from 07.2010 till 12.2099 and there's no pblm with tht
Now, there was some updation in R/3 system and the data was maintained for the company codes in A& B for the FISCPER 001.2010 to 006.2010, for which init wasnt maintained...
now how shall we need to load the init in this case? dnt ask me how the postings was done in R/3, but my pblm is purely related to the loading data in BW from R/3, as its very imp for the customer to see the data from 01.2010 to 12.2010 in reports, but the data was only available in reports from 07.2010 onwards
do i need to create another IP and maintain the init for 01.2010 to 06.2010? so tht this selection will automatically appear in the ODS delta loading infopackage

Hi Prince,
No need to maintain any Init for this data, It will be enough if you can load the data from jan 2010 to jun 2010 into your Info Cube.
Follow the below steps:
1)create full load IP for this data source.
2) give the selection as A and B company codes and 0FISCPER as 001.2010 to 006.2010
3) in menu bar, click on scheduler --> select full repair request
4) In the next screen check the check box and save
5) Now execute the IP, it will the data with out disturbing your daily delta.
follow the same procedure to load data till to your Info Cube.
