You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
What is it you are worried about losing that isn't already on your current device?

My iPhone 4 rebooting while hooked up to charge after fall.

My iPhone 4 recetly fell from pocket to my foot and turned off right away, now it's only rebooting while connected to a charging source; but only continuous reboots. We can't connect to restore it to iTunes because the home button doesn't work as well. I've tried everything the site suggests to do, but absolutely nothing works.

Will an Apple Iphone 3g charge from a Powered USB Hub while the computer is sleeping?
I have a Motorola SLVR L7, two BCK-08 Bluetooth Stereo Headsets and two iPower Secondary iPhone batteries that all charge from my Powered USB Hub while my main computer is sleeping.
It would seem that my iPhone 3g will not charge from a Powered USB Hub while the computer attached to it is sleeping?
Is there any way to get an Iphone 3g to charge from a PoWeReD UsB HuB while the computer it is attached to is sleeping?
I'm thinking in terms of greening things ... but this is making me leave a 170 Watt computer running while I sleep ... I don't use the computer much while asleep ...

How 'linux' is OS X?
In linux you can get a lot of USB information by typing "+lsusb -v+"
or through "/proc/bus/usb/devices"
(but they would both list everything connected via USB)

In windows under details it lists the parent ID (port above) so if you found the USB port the iPhone was connected to ... you could find the hardware and vendor id or name of the hub it was plugged in to ...
I'm thinking it might be easier and more positive to start a thread requesting that anyone who has an iPhone that will charge from their computer through a USB Hub while that computer is sleeping ... but I don't know if I can start a thread with a title that long ...

so ive heard multiple times from people with pretty much experience at using mobile devices that it's not good for the batteries of your mobile devices to use them whie theyre still charging as doing so can gradually damage the batteries and reduce the overall battery lifetime. Is the claim true tho and does it apply to iphone 5 as well??? will my iphone 5 battery be damaged in the long run if I keep often operating it while it's still charging?? is that action really bad and adverse for the health and condition of the iphone 5 battery and its lifetime?? plz for those who know , clarify all this . IPhone 4s - Charges in Dock but not with Charger...help!?

Hi, I just got an iPhone 4s around a month ago and its behaving quite strangely when it comes to charging.
Initially charging worked fine when I used the wall charger that came with the phone, but about a week later it began to stop charging (it would show as charging, then quickly stop and switch in between) - I tried another USB cable that I had from an iPod and this made no difference.
Following this, I've been charging the phone from my PC (which was working fine) however, this suddenly stopped working as well a few days ago. I alternated between my old USB cable and the new one when it was charging ok - but both have stopped working now.
When connected the phone up to my Laptop, it makes the noise like it has been connected, however, iTunes isn't opening and the Laptop doesn't recognise that the phone is connected - all the while, still no charging.
All the while, I've been charging (and am currently charging) the phone using a dock for my iPod - it charges without any issues.
I've tried the hard reset (assuming holding the home button and on/off button is the way to go) but this makes no difference - unfortunately, both USB cables are also no longer charging my iPod when connected - however they working without issue before.
Is it possible that something has potentially caused something like a short in the cables? One is brand new, so I wouldn't expect that to be the issue, but could the charger have done anything?
Any suggestions of what I could do to get this up and running would be greatly appreciated, as ideally, I don't want to be dragging a speaker/dock with me everywhere I go!

Just to add to this, I've just tried my old usb cable with my iPod in my Laptop and that works fine now and charges the iPod.
New cable does likewise....

I've been having problems with my iPod since I've updated it to iOS 8. My battery isn't charging and it's actually died on me three times WHILE connected to the charger. My apps also keep crashing. It's beyond frustrating.
Is there any way I can fix my problem about it not charging?
(i don't have a computer to plug it into so that's a solution that will not work)

IPhone 5 charger stopped working. Can I get a new one for free?

I bought an iphone 5 charger from best buy about a month ago. It just randomly stopped working. I was wondering if I took it to the apple store, would they replace it? Or would I have to buy a new one.

I would first try the steps in the following article before seeking service. If it comes down to that, there is also a link to contact us:
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:

OK sort of an old thread now but this apparently is a common issue. Restore wont help. I have researched it for the past week (did several months ago too and gave up) but I now have somewhat of a solution to this phenomena. For whatever reason mine seems to stay at 100% most of the night than around 7:00am it would drop to 97% or so within a few minutes. This sorta stopped when iOS 5.1.1 came out. Now it stays at 100% until I unplug it then it drops. What I was doing was each morning when wake up, I unplug then plug back in while I was getting ready for the day and it would go back to 100%. So for the fix. What I have discovered over the past week worked 100% of the time. When go to bed I turn off the phone with the slider. Then plug in charger and let the phone come alive again by itself. But I do not log it in. Just let it sit at the lock screen. Now every morning its at 100% and stays that way for more than an hour (If not used). So it is being fully charged and remaining that way. iPhone will quick charge to 100% by meter but in reality it still needs longer to fully charge. Anyway this process has solved the waking up to less than 100% while still being connected to the charger.
