While TECO Maintenance Order Notification get closed

Hi Gurus,
For unplanned breakdown we create notification then order and porcess it and will close it. While TECO the order, notification get closed automatically. I don't want to close it automatically. Is there anyway to do it.

There is no way to default this value
And this topic has been discussed many times before. Search the internet using CLNOT

While creating Maintenance order with any order type (PM01,PM02 & PM03) & entering material in component Tab, the system is giving this Error 'Entry does not exist,check your entry'
The used material is already maintained in the Material Master with all necessary information.

    not specified in this table.
Procedure
    Check whether the input is correct and correct if necessary.
Procedure for System Administration
    If this is not an incorrect entry, check the system settings and change
    them if necessary.
    If there is a connection to the Customizing system, you can maintain the
    system settings by choosing Maintain entries (F5)

My understanding is that the selected work center is not copied into the input field. This can be corrected with note [1451299|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1451299]. Check if the note is relevant for your system.

Authorization Check while TECO PM ORDER

While performing action TECO of PM order, system check the authorization of Mtc. Plant of Equipment entered in the PM Order in place of Mts. plant authorization of PM Order it self. If during the period of PM order creation to TECO PM order the equipment moved from one Mtc. Plant to other it create problem. My requirment is that system should check the authorization of Mtc. Plant of PM Order copied from equipment while creation of order.

Plant Maintenance is having authorization objects I_IWERK and I_SWERK which checks the maintenance planning plant and maintenance plant respectively with reference to T-Codes (For ex: IW32) which you can check for particular user and can make changes with this authorization object in user profile.
But first fo all I would like to clarify that in Plant Maintenance, whenever you are moving the equipment from one plant to another plant, it is always advisable to complete all the pending order and notifications prior to dismantling of the equipment and it is pratical too as it is obvious that maintenance team would complete all its pending work before shifting any equipment.
So I would guide that before shifting any equipment in SAP please complete all its orders and then dismantle and then re-install equipment to other plant.

Warranty Popup not coming while creating maintenance order

Dear Experts,
             I have created master warranty for distance covered having unit Mile.
Created counter with same charateristic and unit (ie mile). In the equipment master data entered the master warranty no and start date.
              Now when i am creating the maintenance order , it is not giving me any pop up. i have done necessary customising for dialog box while creating order and notification, but still the dialog box not coming.
             If i am not using any master warranty and giving start and end date of master warranty then it is giving me the dialog box.
Can you please see what is the problem

hi
check whether you have defined the counter in the warranty ,and cross check with measuring point for that equipment ,is the same characteristic used.
also in the equipment warranty tab whether Green coloured check is appearing and the details

Digital signature error while confirming maintenance order

hi all,
while i try to confirm maintenance order i m getting following error.
"Unable to find strategy information about strategy
Message no. SIG403
Diagnosis
Signature strategy has been allocated to the function you selected. However, signature strategy has not been defined in the system. The individual signatures may be missing.
The system does not carry out the function."
I checked in SPRO but couldn't find any configuration related to digital signature..
Please suggest how to overcome this issue..

Digital signature is activated for the function IW41. AS per the SAP help i should maintain configuration in
" Maintenance and Service Processing >® Maintenance and Service Orders> ® Functions and Settings for Order Types --> -->Define Digital Signature for Order Types.
I checked SPRO menu paths to locate above mentioned path. but it is not there
Please suggest !

Kindly tell me how to check whether the cost sheet is maintained as integrated planning for this year. i have check in my customised setting from the following menu path controlling -> General Controlling ->Maintain version->Maintain setting for each fiscal year (version maintained is plan/actual version). Sales order not getting closed

Hi,
I am creating delivery document through SDK based on existing sales orders. it creates it with perfect quantity, tax , amount and doctotal values but the original sales order does not get closed contradictory to SAP's standard flow.it does shwo all the row-status as closed. but the document status remains open.
what could be wrong? do i have to close it through SDK?

As Petr said, i have added a SO in normal SAP UI without any addon, and copied it to Delivery and changed the Freight and added the delivery, in this case, the SO remains open.
So I guess u can summarize that if any changes occur the SO would remain open?

Classification and characteristics for maintenance orders/notifications

Has anyone had any success in extending classification to maintenance orders and/or operations and notications? If so, can you offer any advice.

I've heard of people doing it via IWO10018 (enhancement tab)... but not by any other method.
So if anyone else has managed to do this another way, then I'd be very interested..
You could use the same method in notifications (QQMA0001)

Error while creating maintenance order - Budget almost exhausted.

Hi Experts,
We have maintained budget on WBS element. As per WBS report S_ALR_87013558 still Rs. 438000 available.
Now when we were trying to make a maintenance order with assignment of same WBS element system is showing error
"Budget almost exhausted" Message no: BP611. Actually the order cost is only Rs 18000.
Could anyone help me to find the root cause of this problem?

Printout of Closed / TECO Main Order

Dear Experts,
I am trying to take printout of Closed / TECO Maintenance Order, but system is not allowing.
We have not assign any User Status to maintenance order, only default system status assign in maintenance order.

Go to transaction BS22 which allows you to maintain business transactions for system statuses. At the bottom of the left hand column you can enter the code for TECO which is I0045 and press Enter. This will take you to that code. Double click on that code to bring up the list of business transaction available for TECO. Again at the bottom of the left hand column, enter RMDR which is the code for Print Order, and press Enter. You may change the option from Forbidd to Permtd. This will allow you to print TECO work orders.
You can do the same for CLSD work orders using I0046.

Problems while processing maintenance service orders - external(PM)

i am Praveen, fresher to SAP R/3 - PM. I am facing some problems while processing maintenance orders - external service.( IDES )
I used control key PM 03 for external servicing. as per my knowledge it should create Purchase requisition for the external processing . but instead of that it gives following message.
" Relevancy to MRP is set at 3, since order is released or activated"
If i press help it tells that
" relevancy to material planning is currently set to 3, set it to 3"
So i searched lot for the setting but i could not find that setting anywhere.
If i press enter insted of help in the first problem it gives following message
" purchase requisition cannot be generated"
If i press help button it gives message that
" Due to setting, system is trying to generate purchase requisition but you haven't maintained service package for the activity/element. maintain service package for activity/element."
so i serached this setting too but i could not find this one too.
In tab - Activity type, it gives message that
" no activity types assigned to cost centre 4220 controlling area 1000 on Dt-month-year(current date)"
SO I checked with the settings of activity type in controlling , where i assigned activity type 1410 to all cost categories by selecting cost centre category ' * '. but still i am facing same problems.
So i am requesting all of my seniors that please help me out to overcome these problems.
these problems are badly effecting my daily practise on SAP R/3.
So once again i am requesting all of my seniors please help me out.

Hi praveen,
After entering PM03 control key you need to enter the services package by clicking on the "external " button at the bottom of the screen .
Here you enter the services.
You can see RES./PURC.REQ value indicator in ACT.DATA view .This value is defaulted to 3.
when you try to change it 2 you will get the same error. however you can change it to 1. (this implies the components in this order will not be available for materila planning).
you can change it to 1 and continue with creating a work order. if you want to change it to 2 you need to do a configuration setting.

Automatic creation of maintenance order before expiry of warranty

Hi All,
I have a requirement to generate maintenance order automatically when a particular assets warranty is soon to expire.
I am aware of the option to get pop-up box while creating maintenance order if the equipment is under, but this wll not meet my requirement.
Could you please provide your comments.

Hi,
you can go for general preventive maintenance plan creation. whatever your requirement is, you can create relevent task list, assign your strategy of maintenance for that asset after its warranty is over and so on up to a particular period, say 365 days.
Then create strategy plan (IP42) and schedule it in such a way that it generate its first call object by the end of warranty and keep on generating as per your requiremnts. schedule it (IP 10), and you will get call objects (notification or order) as per your requirements.
It is an standard SAP practice, hopw it will work for you, without any enhancements.
