While transferring music from phone to iTunes on computer, it deletes all music I didn't buy from iTunes.
I recently transferred my iPhone 4 to a new laptop. I'm trying to transfer the music that is on my phone to the new computer, but it deletes all the music that I hadn't purchased from iTunes. Anyone know how to fix this? Need help ASAP!
See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. If non-store media has been deleted from the device and you have no other sources to reclaim it from then there really isn't much to do but accept the loss and make sure you backup properly in future.

Little background:
Went to open Itunes, error message told me I was missing files and I was unable to open. I deleted Itunes and re-downloaded and received same message. I then "repaired" Itunes from my "unistall/change" program menu. The error message then changed to being "unable to read my library of music." So I fixed that by following some other forum directions (Went to My Computer/Music/Itunes then dragged the most recent Itunes Library selection to my desktop, then opened the folder under music titled "Previous Itunes library" and moved that file into that folder. Thankfully that worked... sort of... I have some music in my library. None of the music from my super old Limewire library, or any recent music from my phone. All of which was in my library last night. Not to mention the HOURS of cd's I burned to Itunes over the entire weekend. Hundreds (at least) of songs are missing.
So I attempted to sync my phone and was told it would delete all of the files in my phone to replace with files from my computer. Which is NOT what I want to happen. Trying to get music FROM my phone to my computer.
Can someone please help me simply sync my phone to my computer? And then somehow get the music from my Limewire library to my Itunes library? I know I may not get the burned music back... But that sure would be amazing.
I am at a loss. Apple won't help unless I pay them... So hopefully this looks familiar to someone!

KatieThis happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

How do I recover my contact list which I lost while transferring it from iphone3gs to windows address book.
Did you try and sync it with an address book on your computer that contained no entries at all? If so, then they are gone.
IF you backed up the phone before trying to do this, you may be able to recover some of the information using 3rd party software to try and extract it from the backup. I have no personal experience with any of these programs, so I'll leave specific recommendations to others who do. -

If Other (the yellow bar) is too big something is corrupted. The only solution (that I know of) is to restore from your most recent backup using iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purhases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -

I am facing a problem in CRM system while transferring products from CRM to R/3. System is throwing a message "Exception condition NO_STRUCT_DEFINITION raised" and product transfer is not happening.

Thanks for your assistance once again.
I have checked the 'CRMRFCPAR' table entries in R/3 system. One entry with 'Send XML=M' is present in that table.
No error Bdoc exists in system, the existing Bdocs are showing as successfully processed in the transaction 'SMW01', The queue name corresponding to the Bdoc is 'CRM_PRODUCT_IP'.
I have also checked the transaction 'GENSTATUS' .There is no object with status red, instead of that two objects are existing with green status.
Can you please tell me how to verify, whether parent object ('DNL_CUST_PROD0') has been successfully loaded or not?????

We are getting the error " Error in subroutine READ_NAMTB" during the Inbound Processing of Idocs in xRPM.
We have used the standard message type HRMD_ABA and IDoc type HRMD_ABA04 without any modifications.

How are you transferring the photos? In the iphoto preferences is look up loations st to automatically?

If you used Migration Assistant and do not have the PC data on an external disk you can merge the two accounts by copying the data to through Shared folder.

My iphone storage is full due to my large photo library. As I want to go on taking more photos, if I back up my phone to icloud, can I then delete all my photos from my iphone to make room for new photos? Or will the next time I back up lose all those previously backed up as it is a 'new' set of data?
I just want to find the easiest and safest way of not losing all my photos while being able to take more than my iPhones storage worth as it is already full - can someone help me please? As you are clearly aware, it is important for you to have backups of your important data, including all of these photos you are currently keeping on your iPhone. While it is possible to use iTunes or iCloud to do backups of your iPhone, the problem becomes how to access those backups if you have deleted the photos from your iPhone. Once you have done the backup and then removed the photos from the iPhone, the only way to access the photos is by restoring the backups to the phone.
