WHILE TRYING TO SYNC MY PHONE MY SCREEN FROZE WITH A PICTURE OF A BLUE MUSIC NOTE, SAYS "ITUNES" BELOW IT AND A PICTURE OF THE END OF THE USB CORD. IT WILL NOT REBOOT OR DO ANYTHING ELSE...ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM????
While trying to sync my iphone 4 my screen froze with a picture of blue circle with a music note in it, says iTunes under it and a picture of the end of the USB cord at the bottom...it will not let me reboot my phone and will do NOTHING else...anyone else have this happen?? How do I fix this??

this happend on my ipad as well, make sure the person you are tryng to send an imessage to is registered with imessage. if you tap on the number itself, if it shows up in red it should say this phone number is not registered with imessage.

My apple password was reset, but not by me, also an email showed up but when i went to click into it, it wasn't there anymore and was not even in my inbox.
If you have never shared your password with anyone then your account was hacked. NOT your iPhone, your Apple ID. If you use the same password for other accounts any of them could have been hacked, and your password obtained from that other account. If your password was simple it could have been hacked by brute force. If it is a word found in any dictionary especially. Or if there is anything personally identifiable about it (nickname, pets name, address, name of someone you know).
The really important thing is to get it resolved QUICKLY with Apple Security, and to change all passwords that might have been stored in an iCloud backup of your phone. -

I downloaded a movie to my Air, but it won't sync to my ipad2 and says it's not authorized. It's not a rental. Anyone else have this problem or know how to resolve?
I ended up having a one hour conversation with Apple Support which evolved to handing over control of my screen and then eventually having to use Terminal. I wish I could remember the command but it's probably best I don't.
One thing we looked at right away was the account name used to dowload the movie. Is it the same as the account name you have saved on your iPad. That's easy to check and would be great if that is all that's needed to correct. Good luck.
Here's also an email I got from Support that could solve your problem if it's not as difficult as my issue was.
I would like to inform you that this issue can occur if iOS (your device's operating system) on your device needs to be updated. It can also happen if the computer you're trying to sync from has not been authorized to play purchases you are trying to sync.
I suggest that you first see if updating iOS on your iPad resolves the issue. This article will walk you through the process:

If there are still purchases that won't sync to your device after you update its software, I suggest reauthorizing your computer. To do so, follow these steps:

4) Now from the Store pull-down menu at the top, choose Authorize Computer.
5) Enter your account name and password, then click Authorize.

I purchase songs from Itunes and as soon as I sync my phone, the song gets deleted. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
I have random songs that a have paid for but they just disappear, or cannot be downloaded and so on. Sometimes they are indexed wrongly, and can't be found because of that, no work around because also the search function of itunes has gotten totally unusable. Not much fun to be an apple user anymore. I once used to be a very loyal user. My first apple was a Macintosh SE and an image writer II.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

ITunes New Release - Printing a playlist to my printer the header prints, but the song list all print in the same place. I am able to print from any other source. Does anyone else have this problem? Not sure if I should completely uninstall my ITunes and reload from scratch. Sure would appreciate any help you could provide as I really need to get some playlists printed now. Thanks - Scott
There is another discussion of this problem under "can't print cd jewel case inserts"--about 20 people on that page have the same problem.--I have a "band-aid" fix for anyone is in a hurry. When you go to print, choose the option "large playlist" (I think it is the last option). You can then print at least the songs that are on the playlist. Then, you can print a mosaic copy to get the album art work. Then you get out the scotch tape & tape them together! This is UNACCEPTABLE but it will do in a pinch. Someone on the other page suggests we all write in "itunes" feedback & complain.

Ever since I downloaded/installed the ICloud IOS5 I can not use the camera icon on my Ipod. I can click on the icon, the screen will lighten just a little but it is not letting me see what is in the camera view. Any one else have this problem or know how I can fix it?
Make an appointment at the genius bar are your nearest Apple store. At this point there is nothing you can do without a computer, so if you don't have one and don't know anyone who has one that you can use the Apple store is a good fallback.

I bought my iPhone on Friday and when I tried to use it to make a call (after I had left the store) the screen had turned green - as if a green filter had been placed over it. When I turned the phone sideways the color turned to magenta. Anyone else have this problem? I plan on exchanging the phone but can't get there until later this week.
