While typing an email response, the "t" opens a new page and I hate it! How do I stop that from happening?

I use Gmail via Firefox and I love it....yet I hate the rude screen change when I hit the "t" key! It just happened again!
t and again so it is not Google.
I have tried everything I can and it still interrupts my typing!
I have uninstalled all plug ins....
I have slowed down my keyboard response....
I have changed the options....
HELP!

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
If some specific tabs are reopening on each start them this can be caused by a problem with the prefs.js file that stores the preferences.
Did you try to delete the prefs.js file and other possible prefs-##.js files with a number?
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

Check your list of home pages to see if a home page is causing the problem. You can try changing your home page to see if that helps - [[How to set the home page]].

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

This is not something on your end. If they send an iMessage it will arrive as an iMessage, if the send an email it will arrive as an email.
THey are sepearate services that cannot be mixed up.
Tell them to send you an email, rather than an iMessage.
If they are using the messages App it will always arrive as a Message.

When I do a search (for anything), the browser redirects me to a new page, usually an advertisement. How do I keep this from happening?

My home page opens just fine. When I type a search topic in the search box, it goes to the list of possible websites. But when I click on any of those choices, the browser is automatically redirecting my to a different page (usually an advertisement). How do I keep this from happening any more? Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

I disconnected an email account from my iPhone 4- no longer receive the emails from that account on the phone BUT the address still appears on some outgoing emails? How can I stop that from happening?

I have not upgrade to iOS7. I've deleted an email account (gmail incase it makes a difference). The problem is that the ADDRESS still sometimes used despit the deletion. Now, one of the reasons I deleted it was that this address would "override" the address I was trying to actually send from even if I manually selected the other address. If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. When I try to add a new search add-on I get a "Firefox Add-on" search rather than the one I tried to install. How do I stop that from happening?

The Add-on Manager shows the add-on I downloaded but the drop down menu shows a Firefox Add-on search option.

The search on the search bar that Has as an icon a green jigs-saw piece and the title ''Firefox Add-ons'' is specifically for searching for Firefox addons, as you may have guessed from its name. It is available from the addons pages.
It will take you to pages such as https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox or parts of that site. The page https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?atype=4 is actually many pages with over 3000 items offered.
If with the Firefox dd-ons search engine selected in the search bar you type in IMDb that will give you something like this

*1 including https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imdb-search-1/?src=search
*# that opens to a page with a download button, labelled [Add to Firefox] once clicked that should download the search engine, and give you an option to install it. Other searches for addons work in a similar way.
That specific option may not be a good choice the add on did not actually work for me.

IMPORTANT once you have use the search remember you may wish to reset it to whatever you use in day today browsing. That may be Google. Note the location bar, and other Firefox searches all use whatever is currently selected in the Search bar.

This happens when FireFox is not responding, and I want to close firefox with ctrl-alt-delete. Too many tabs can make Firefox crash. That is why I want to use ctrl-alt-delete to close FireFox. I tried finding a way to disable this, but I found no option to.

Ending the Firefox program or process with the Windows Task Manager "looks like" a crash. The proper way to exit Firefox is click Firefox button > Exit (or File > Exit, if using the Menu Bar).

When not on Firefox and go to do it, why am I constantly getting: "Firefox is already running but not responding. To open a new window you must close the existing Firefox process, or restart your computer." Moreover, HOW CAN I STOP IT FROM HAPPENNING???

I am try to download a CSV file and have it directly open in excel. It only opens in new page and not in excel. how do I get it to do that.

In internet explorer I use to be able to click on a download link to have a csv file open in excel. I have never been able to open this download file before with Firefox. It turns out that I can no longer do it with Explorer either. I have sent this same question to them for help as I require this information. It is being downloaded from a secure site and is used for registration information.
I need help as soon as possible.

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
