While updating iTunes I got error R6034 and then error 7(windows error 1114)

I downloaded iTunes again and now I am getting the following message:  "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.  I aborted out of the install.  Should I remove the existing copy of iTunes?  Will I lose all my music?

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing an “Error 7” with the latest update of iTunes. The following resource provides information about this error, and a possible resolution:

If you determine that you do need to reinstall iTunes, please follow the steps in the article below. It is important to uninstall all components of iTunes in the order they are listed. Uninstalling iTunes does not affect your iTunes Media folder or iTunes Library.

    Ref  Solution 1: Lightroom is at its latest update
    Ref  Solution 2: It's interesting how I cannot find the Preferences file anywhere on my mac. (new mac pro, OS 10/9.2) . . .
    Ref  Solution 3: Lightroom doesn't allow me to do anything after the error message appears
    Ref  Solution 4: don't have any Nik Software plug-ins
    Ref  Solution 5: checked permissions and changed all to "Read & Write" - makes no difference
    Ref  Solution 6: I don't have a different user account on my mac.
    Not sure what else to do.

    I went into the admin log in for my computer and changed the "Data Execution Prevention" setting to "turn on DEP for all programs" which now allows my admin log in to get to the itunes store - but I cannot open it on other log ins - which is where all my music is stored. Additionally, I do not have the option of changing my DEP settings on my non-admin log ins. The real frustration here is that everything worked FINE before the update. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

    Only way to get iMac starting again was to re-install 10.4.4 from DVD, and then update it into 10.4.6. For a while it worked perfectly, just as before.
    Then I tried to print to CD with my EPSON Stylus Photo 950 from Adobe Photoshop Elements (2.0). It didn't print anything, but printer started flashing all lights. The print job was not performed, so I did remove it from the Printer Utility. After that the iMac started "ticking" again, same noise than before, after 10.4.7 installation. I did re-boot iMac. It never started, it does stuck on gray screen (gray block running clockwise). HW test from DVD didn't find any problems (extended search looping 3 times). But Disk Utility found hard drive to have inaccurate node structure, it could not fix it.
    Apple support recommended to use DiskWarrior. However, it does not support (yet) Intel Macs. I haven't got TechTool Pro 4.5.1 anywhere. iMac does start on to FireWire mode (T at boot), but I cannot see the disk from 10.2.8 iMac.
    So, obvisously the problem is not 10.4.7. I believe it to be ESPON printer driver compatibility on Mac OSX. This does not suprise me, EPSON printers *****, I shall never purchase one again. However, disk catalog structure should not get messed by one faulty printer driver!

    In my iPad 2 while updating iTunes software after connecting with PC through USB the screen got stanstill on iPad  with iTunes Logo & USB wire visible on the screen. It is not getting closed as well on switching off sleep button. On restoring itwas earlier showing error 1611 & now showing error 1603. Kindly advise.

    Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
    3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
    Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

    I tried the temp fix you mentioned, it didn't work.  I could not delete all of the old itunes files, the uninstallers would crash half way through and if I tried to manually delete anything it also gave me an error, so reinstalling the older version would not work. 
    Frankly, this whole thing has got me ****** off.  judging by the amount of complaints here, there must be a lot of people having this problem, yet Apple has let it go on for almost 2 weeks.  What kind of inept coders are they employing if they can let an update that completely frags their software get through QA.
    Does anyone know of any programs that will play itunes music files?  I am just about done dealing with iTunes, but I've got a ton of music that I don't want to have to purchase all over again.

    Check for .dll files
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
    If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
    Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
    Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
    Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
