While upgrading foxfire my computer froze and now I can't use foxfire, uninstall or reinstall HELP
During installation of foxfire upgrade the install was 95% complete and then no activity< so I waited 15minutes for things to continue. There was no change so i decided it needed to be redone however my computer was completely frozen. That has never happened before. After final deserate measures(pulling the plug) and restart I tried to uninstall foxfire so I could install from scratch however my computer is unable to uninstll and when I try to insall foxfire from scratch at one point it says foxfire must be turned off< well I'm reluctantly using explorer and foxfire has not been on in 2 weeks. What can I do to get foxfire back?

Hi I just upgraded software through iTunes then unplugged iPhone now it is stuck on the connect to intunes screen, it won't turn off and iTunes and my computer won't recognize my phone? Please help
My phone is doing the same thing. My computer acknowledges that I have connected my iPhone 4, however, iTunes will no longer connect or sync to my iPhone 4. I have uninstalled iTunes, Bonjour and all Apple products from my pc. I have re-installed them back on. I have reset my phone. I have emptied my temp folder. I have done everything. If my iPhone cannot update and sync with iTunes then I may as well get another phone from somewhere else. I am disappointed that I cannot resolve this issue.

I just uploaded the latest IPad software to my IPad and am now having loads of trouble with the device recognizing "online buttons", that is, links, etc. what can I do?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Upgrade software... location and backup?
I purchased the new apps from iTunes last night, and upgraded my iTunes/QuickTime to the latest versions. Is the iPod upgrade software part of the iTunes library of that machine? And, if so, can it be backed up somehow in case I have a system (or iPod) problem?

SteveI installed the 1.1.3 update (which was very small and free of charge), but surely that little 12k file doesn't contain all the new apps...?
The purchased software download said ("153MB" or close to that) as it was trying to download. It failed with network timeouts every time I tried it last night... that's the one I'm wanting to back up (once I get it to download, that is...)
I thought perhaps I could try downloading it from here at work, where my net connection is more reliable, but I'm guessing I have to do it from the machine that's associated with my iTunes account.

I accidentally dropped my Ipod into the lake, at the beach yesterday, but i caught it early and it wasn't too soaked... i wiped it off for the most part, and most of the buttons and the screen worked fine! i was shocked, and there were a few glitches with the camera and the slide button on the lock screen, but otherwise it was greatly intact! so i gave it a rest, put it in my purse, and picked it up fifteen minutes later, and it was working 100% normally again! when i got home a few hours later, i put it in rice for a few hours, taking it out every once and a while to check my notifications... it still seemed to be working perfectly, so i just set it down out of the rice, assuming the moisture was gone. this morning, again, everything was working normally, no glitches, UNTIL, i opened my instagram app, and the screen froze, and it seemed like it had two separate screens, and i held the Sleep button down until the screen went black... then i tried turning it back on, etc. and it still didn't work, and so i plugged it into the computer, holding down the sleep and home buttons, and itunes identified it as in recovery mode, and started updating. i tried again to press the sleep and home butttons, maybe pressing only the home button, because I heard the Siri noise, as well as the charging sound, but the screen was still black.... i checked my iTunes, and lo and behold, it had identified my iPod, and synced it to the computer, as if it were normally functioning. However, the screen is still not working, and Siri is not working either. The sounds may be the only thing that's functioning. Should i send it in?

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

IPad Unable to Reboot - Frozen While Upgrading Software
The iPad has a 80% charge.
I went to the iTunes store to download an app. Then, I was told before doing that, I should upgrade the software. So, I opened Settings and software update. Then, the iPad froze up with the symbol of a charging cable approaching iTunes. I've tried rebooting. I plugged the iPad into power. It will recycle, shutting down then coming up with the Apple icon. But, it just goes back to the same scene of the charging cable with iTunes icon.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

I have a question regarding UPGRADE!
I am having G62-361TX model notebook, Processor of Core i3-370M, 3GB RAM (1 X 1GB & 2 X 2GB), 1GB ATI Mobility Rageon Premium Graphics Card, Windows 7 x64.
1. Is is possible to upgrade from Core i3-370M to core i5-470?
2. Is is possible to add 4BG of RAM on one slot and existing 2GB on the other slot?
If yes, then will it be giving any problem like over heating, etc., Have the G62-361TX is been desinged to withstand heavier computing if upgraded?

Q2: I think so. The service guide says that it's possible for model 1.1 only. Product specs for G62-361tx say that the hard drive is a 320GB 5400rpm and this hard drive is available for model 1.1 only. I think that you may use a 4GB module anyway, the laptop might be upgraded up to 8GB of RAM..

Too worried to upgrade software. The pros and cons

I am all for making improvements and fully understand that we can't always get it right first time every time but atm I am too concerned with the fact that updating my software will create problems that are non-existent in my eyes.
My girlfriend updated her (my old) N70 software last week and now her phone is in the repair shop. This could just be a coincidence but....
I had an N95 (on orange) and was stung when the "unlucky for some" version 13 was installed on the handset. See the epic thread here "N95 firmware upgrade affects battery life" (couldn't post link)
I carried out the full back up to my card as instructed but the games I purchased would no longer work so had to re-buy them. The battery life was killed in eight hours due to the wlan making a connection attempt as long as the battery would allow it to happen. The point is... all of this was not happening before the update.
It was that bad that in the end I was forced to upgrade / get a new contract before I was entitled to one from Orange and had to fork out for two contracts to get the handset spec I needed.
I now have an N95 8GB and have no qualms with it what so ever. It has version 20 atm and pc suite informs me there is an update every time I boot the program up. So far.. I have declined to update.
So what are the pros and cons and is it more of a risk to chance losing the licenses I have paid for and update if nothing is wrong?

The swordsman that goes to war thinking of saving himself had better not go to war at all.I myself am also worried. A friend of mine told me if there is no porblem with your current version of firmware for your phone then why update? It is not a assurance that after updating there would be no problems/bugs with the new version.My friend has a point. Why would we update if there is no problem with your current firmware version? Some would say it would be faster, there would be more improvements to the music ( which I know would be depending with your hardware and not the software).
I am thinking of updating my firmware with a Nokia Service Center here in my country (Philippines). It is for free at the moment because my phone ins under 1 year Warranty. But I am thinking twice after what my friend told me.
