If still problem, try DFU Mode Restore, here are the steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode. If still problem and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

Am running Firefox 3.6.10. Am having problems with Firefox crashing after upgrading to Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. Anyone else having same problem. Oh, BTW am still using Windows XP operating system.
The latest flash player release is 11,0,1,152.
Can you upgrade to this version and see whether the crash stil exists?

While having a perfectly running iTunes and all programs associated, I was notified of the iTunes 10.4 upgrade. After following typical directions, I have had nothing but trouble. First “iTunesHelper was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 5)” occurred. I was in the middle of the iOS 8 update and tried to turn my phone off (yes, I realize this was dumb) But what happened was it tried to reset. Now, my iphone 4s has the connect to itunes screen. I have tried to reset, recover, etc but I keep getting and error -51 message. Any ideas how I can get my phone working again? I am not worried about saving any info just having a phone to use!
Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -
I am making a graduation video for my cousin using Final Cut Pro. I have photos layered over videos, and I was wanted to find out how you can add a border around the photos so they stand off of the video. Anyone know what I could do?

When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

I'm having a billing issue with my apple id. I got my first iPhone today and I've signe din etc however before i can download any apps etc i need to resolve an old payment apparently. The problem is i cant enter my new card details because the issue is registered to when i was in America and i require to pay the funds from an American source. Any ideas how i can resolve this? Since I installed Nero 2014 I get an error message when I start iTunes that registry settings for importing and burning cds/dvds have changed probably due to other burning software installed please reinstall iTunes, which I've done using 'repair' option, but the problem persists. I have been able to import cds to iTunes since I installed Nero, but it won't anymore. Does anyone recognize this problem and have a solution? Thanks for any help. Using Windows 7.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X. -

There is probably something that was corrupted on your phone during the update and has been passed via the backup to the replacement phone. If the corruption/problem is contained in the backup, you'll need to re-sync your data, and re-install your apps manually. Restoring the backup again will only bring the problem back with it.
If restoring it as new does not fix it, then make an appointment at the genius bar. -

How much free space do you have on your hard drive? - Note that you need an absolute minimum of 10GB at all times for normal operation of your computer
Deleteing photos probably is not the answer - you probably need to purchase an external hard drive and move your iPHoto library (and possibley iTunes library) to it - you can operate that way (be sure the EHD is always available when you launch iPHoto) or you can have a small library on your MB and use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - to move photos between teh internal and external hard drive

Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

How is your external drive formatted? Use Disk Utility to check the volume format. If it is NTFS, you will need to reformat the HDD as exFAT in order to retain universal compatibility (RW to it on both Mac and Windows).
