need help to develop VI in labview for line follower which will track black path only and avoid white line , can any one please help me with VI ?

IPhone 5 Battery stays at the same percentage, phone fades shows white and black lines then dies. Now phone screen is shaking and does the same thing.

My iPhone 5 which has been working fine has only today started to get these problems. The phones battery percentage stays at the same number and only changes if i swith it off or when it does it byitself but then stays at that number. When I use it it constantly turns off by slowly fading then showing white and black lines then going off. The screen is now shaking and keeps turning off. It was on IOS 6 which I just updated as I thought this could be the issue but it still does the same thing on IOS 7. Has anyone else experienced these problems or know what is wrong with my iPhone?

Sounds like the device is failing. Since you updated to iOS 7, that would do the same as a restore. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar at Apple to have the device checked.

This has worked for some others.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Thin white and black lines on video output

I loaded a packaged project to make some changes. (The project was packaged with a different computer than my current. Everything looks clean within Premier. I’m outputting standard Vimeo settings. One of the GoPro clips exports with come-like white lines that cover the screen. Cuts before and after are from the same camera, but do dot display any such problems. The project originally outputted just fine. I originally used neoscene to uncompress the footage. I even ran the original footage through neoscene again, but not change. Suggestions?

Thanks Jim. I fixed the problem. I'm not sure what the cause was, but when I re-uncompressed the file using GoPros free software, the files outputed clean again.

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. Apple can do the exchange there.

I bought a macbook pro retina ME665 in Dubai, and 3 month later its display stopped working properly.some white lines appeared on it and display itself became white and black. Can anybody suggest what should I do to fix this problem?

In October 2013 I was on Vacationin Dubai and bought there Macbook pro retina ME665. I returned to Kyrgystan (home town) and for New Year I was away for a week. When I came back i found that the dispaly of my laptop became white and black, some lines appeared on it. Everybody in my family told me that no one has dropped my laptop or done anything that can cause this problem. there is no any service provider of apple in my country. WIl, the international warranty cover this case? I bought this laptop not from apple store,but in a simple store and I lost reciept.

White and black vertical lines

I Have the iPhone 5. It has been in a case since the day I bought it. It is 2 months out of warranty and I got white and black vertical lines while I was laying in bed. My friend tried checking my screen and replaced it with a working screen and it did the same thing so it wasn't the screen. Took my phone to Apple they said it's the screen and I have to pay $130 to fix it even with it out of warranty..... Lady standing next to me had the same problem they plugged it in fixed it and she was on her way with it. What is wrong with my phone? What should I do?

and one more thing, itunes cannot read my device i did that for 20-30 sec but it won't turn on

I never know which forum to post these things, so I'll start with the photographers.
 
 These three shots are as follows: (1) the camera raw version, (2) where I moved the sliders from the ends to approximately the beginning/end of the major portion of the histogram, and (3) using the threshold control to find the white and black points in the main part of the picture.
 
 Then, in the two adjusted versions, I lightened the image with the curves control.
 
 In both these cases, I used the grey dropper to touch the same spot on one of the rocks, to get the apparent neutral point.
 
 It seems to me that the threshold method to find the white and black points is preferred, based on the overall color and appearance of the finished adjustment.
 
 But, I've found on some images where the histogram has missing black and missing white, if I adjust the sliders to these two ends, I get pretty much the same outcome, as far as the contrast, color, and grey point.
 
 Could I have some advice on the preferred method to use in handling my image adjustments? Doing it the threshold method takes more time, and sometimes it's difficult to find the white and black points, or even the grey point.

Yes the image was purposely underexposed. What I was trying to accomplish was to speed up the shutter speed to remove the slight blurring and compensate by pulling data from the shadows. Even though the lens has an image stabilizer the amount of light wasn't enough for a proper sharp shot.

I believe that I will have to wait next year and hope I have a faster lens by then. I just don't think the 28mm-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is fast enough. I was trying this without a tripod to get in tighter.
Also I was taking these shots without the flash to get the drama of the tree lights.
What I would have prefer is a shutter speed of 1/125 or better as it helps with my hands shaking I believe the slowest should be 1/60
And the lower the ISO the better for noise.
These preferences are what I am used to with my Canon G3 that does not have IS.
I am getting so off track here, lol. But anyways, here are the pictures.

Display has white and grey lines and blocks crisscrossing it and touch functions are not working properly on half the screen.

I dropped my iPhone 5S and it landed flat on it's face (it was in a protective case). Since then my touch screen display is not working properly. I have white and grey lines and/or blocks crisscrossing the screen both horizontally and vertically. Screen responds to touch in odd random ways, but rarely does what I am trying to do. Can't call or receive calls because can't dial or answer phone via swipe. Can't text or read incoming texts. All functions seem to be working except that I can't access them because the touch screen is acting up. If I move the phone around it randomly accesses different apps or functions, but I have no control over them once the appear on the screen. Touching screen just causes phone to randomly choose something else to open. What have I damaged?

We cannot possibly tell. Obviously some hardware inside. Take it in to an Apple Store. They will offer you the opportunity to swap the phone for $269 in the US. Prices vary by country.

Try resetting the device. Hold down the sleep and home buttons, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps.
If not and if it's still under warranty you may want to make an appointment at your local apple store and have them take a look at it.

Iphone 6 plus screen flashing white and black

My iPhone 6 Plus 16Gb suddenly started to show screen artifacs, like flashing with white and black, so I can't see the springboard only black and white screen. Restart of the phone didn't help. Even when the phone is booting, Apple logo doesn't appear and then again flashes. As it seems on background everything is working, as I can receive sms and phone calls. It is just the screen. iPhobe 6 Plus is brand new, I've been using it for 1 week and it never dropped. No physical damage, no nothing, just flashing

Have you tried a Reset by holding down the Sleep / Wake Button and the Home Button at the same time until the white Apple logo appears, then let go of the buttons, but wait until the Reset completes and you are back at your lock-screen? If this doesn't work then do you have a computer with the current version of iTunes? If yes and you already have a Backup of your Media and Data on iCloud or iTunes, then you can put the iPhone in DFU Mode. Don't do this unless you have a Backup and also have a computer with the latest iTunes. You will need your Apple ID and Password. To go to DFU Mode you can hold the Home button while you plug the Lightning Cable into the iPhone, a graphic will appear on the iPhone screen showing that you need to connect to iTunes. At that point just connect the iPhone via the Lightning Cable with USB into your Computer. Open the iTunes App on the Computer and wait until a button appears representing the connected iPhone. Then click on the iPhone button on the iTunes screen and it should open to the Summary page. At that point you can Restore the iPhone to Factory Settings and bring it up as A New Phone. The iPhone should screen should then show Hello and you will need to connect to your WiFi via your Router WiFi Password and then answer all the question put forth by the iPhone. When the "Lets Get Started" occurs you can thoroughly check out the iPhone to make sure it is all OK. When satisfied that things are good, you can plug into the computer and iTunes and this time Restore from Backup. or if you Backup is in iCloud you can Restore over the air.

Qosmio G20-109: First tv channel in white and black, then in colour

I bought a Qosmio G20-109 in France one week ago.
It works perfectly except the TV.
When I launch the Tv set, the first channel is in white and black.
If I change the channel, the next ones are in colours.
The drivers are ok;
Have you an idea to fix this problem ?

Your problem is one country specific problem. It is not easy to say what the problem can be. The only thing that I can suggest you is Manual Channel Programming. Maybe you will able on this way to find a exact frequency of this channel.

I use CS5 with Silver Efex Pro v2, but again, without seeing an example of what you're seeing or what you want to achieve, it's difficult to suggest what specific technique will get you what you want using Photoshop alone.
I'm sure some combination of Luminosity Mask, Levels/Curves/Contrast Adjustment Layers would probably give you what you want, but if the Silver Efex Presets, perhaps with some tweaking/customization, give you what you want, and the speed, or lack thereof, is not a problem, well, just stick with what you have!
And as Duotone and Lundberg have pointed out, there are alternatives to Siver Efex; I'm sure you could download a 30 day trial of those packages to play with and see if they meet your needs.

Handling colour: working in red, white and black

I've got a music video project which was shot (HDV) in very rich colour in the inside of an old car with red leather seats, and it's well styled. I want to do something a little different with the colour in post - by saturating the reds, whites and blacks and desaturating the rest, to land up with an un-natural look that will suit the style of the production. Is there a way to selectively desaturate and work with colour in certain frequency spectrums rather that mids/highlights? This tends to put a colour cast over the entire image, which I don't want.

Well you sure picked the three worst colors to work with!
Search this forum for "pleasantville effect" and crack open the manual to read all about the threeway color corrector and "limit effect"
