WHITE BAR ON THE RIGHT

My web page runs perfectly in a web browser on my mac, but when i open the web page in my iphone or any iphone or ipad there is a white rectangle on the right all the way long. I verify several times that there is not anything there in the muse document and there isn't, i have another muse projects and they work perfectly in both the mac and iphone, can you help me?

Why is there a huge white space to the right of the board when I play Lexulous on Facebook?

I play Lexulous (a form of Scrabble) on Facebook. For months now, whenever I play the game, there is a huge white space to the right of the board, like a whole other window. Only with this app. I tried another browser, same thing, and it also does it on my laptop (MacBook Pro). I asked the Lexulous help desk and attached a screenshot; they had no idea what would cause that to happen. I asked a couple of my regular opponents and they are not seeing it. It's really annoying because if I accidentally touch my mouse to the bottom scroll bar, the board slides offscreen to the left.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, but I'd like to fix it.

If you are using Safari to connect to Facebook, try this on one of the Macs.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
If there are any installled, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari and try that game.

Strange white gap on the right when viewed on Iphone

Hey guys
When viewed on computer, my 100% width appears to be working fine. But when viewed on iphone (possibly would do same on ipad and ipod but i don't own those) there is a strange white gap on the right.Maybe about 10 px worth.
I noticed in the "services" section, some of the writing was over hanging this white gap so i thought maybe i coded it wrongly and it was pushing the whole screen across. However i shrunk the width of that container now and its not overhanging, but the white gap is still there
I would have a guess that it is a freaky padding or margin setting somewhere in my coding...

It definitely does matter. Like I mentioned earlier, when you have a fixed width of 1,000px for your content container, your 100% width setting for your outer container will be ignored - which means priority is given to 1,000px thereby rendering the whitespace to the right as your background is again a 128px square image. One solution I can think of is to make your background image 1x1px square that you can repeat. See if this makes any difference.'

Here's my actual function that I'm calling when a menu button is pressed to scroll the div ID associated with it to scroll to Top of the screen. Again, this works for me, as my menu is fixed to the top, unlike your site where each site has a menu bar.

Annoying bar on the right side of my browser, makes the text and resolution of things inside the browser look blurry, is there any way to fix this?

That annoying bar makes the whole browser become blurry in resolution and it even affects how I click on links, for example lets say I click on link, the browser will think im just highlighting text and make me click about half an inch to the right in order to click the link I want. I guess the transparent bar throws off the browser as if that bar isn't there but yet the browser has adjusted to fit the faulty resolution. I know about computers and I'm not a stay at home mom that has no idea how to fix things, if you notice the image the browser is fully opened, as in the button that has the square to make the browser fit the window is clicked, so the browser is set to fit. This is really annoying because it just throws off the way I use it and the functionality is not there any more.

If the Firefox window isn't maximized can you then drag te windows borders to make it fill the full screen width?
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Imac late 2006 has two big white bars on the screen.

I have a late 2006 intel imac and it also has the apparently extremely common vertical white bars on the screen.
They have the same size, about a twelveth of the whole screen, and are spaced by a well functioning bar of exactly the same size. So i thought this could be a problem with the connectors, and i wondered, is there any connector inside the imac that has 12 pins?
P.S.: I'm trying to fix this myself because i took it to an apple authorized repair center (which is the closest we have in Portugal to a real Apple repair center), and they said it would be 550€, a ridiculous amount of money, since the screen costs something like 150€, and they ended up charging me 50€ just for letting it stay the night since they didn't even open it.
I have been an extremely loyal customer and am extremely disappointed in Apple for not replacing this screens for free, since it's clearly a manufacturing problem.

You are just better off saving up your money to buy a new iMac.

How do I turn off the advertising bar on the right of the screen?

Everytime I start Firefox there is a very annoying bar on the right that contains advertising. I want to turn this feature off. How do I do it? I've searched the help menu but can't get an answer.

That is not a built-in feature of Firefox. First check to see if an add-on is causing this, to do that follow the procedure in the [[troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.
Also check to see if that bar is part of a site that is stored as a home page, if it is you can change the home page, for details see [[how to set the home page]].
I am not aware of any malware that behaves like this, but to be safe try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

Too much white space to the right when previewing it in my phone using inspect. Why?

Using edge reflow to create a responsive landing page and inspect to connect to my device.
I tried to preview it but there's so much white space to the right which i can scroll horizontally through the screen.
my width is 100% even my container. why is that? Chrome preview is looking fine btw.

I have a macro program called QuicKeys installed on my Mac that I've used for countless years, and which I highly recommend for other reasons. Anyway, one of QuicKeys' many features is simulating a scroll wheel using the keyboard. I have it simulating a cell-by-cell scroll using cmd-arrow keys. The only drawback is that I have to release the cmd key each time I want to move another cell.

i have themes installed but all themes have a white bar above the code area. This happens on one of my computers and the other one does not have it. Does anyone know what this is? Why it's there? Also see it?

Can you post a screenshot? Otherwise it's hard to know exactly what you're referring to.
But if disabling/removing the themes extension you're using makes the problem go away, your best bet is to find the GitHub project for the themes extension you're using and file a bug there. (For example: https://github.com/MiguelCastillo/Brackets-Themes/issues).
