White box in lower righthand corner of Mission View

There's a white rectanlge on the lower righthand corner of the main desktop window in Mission Control View. Usually, this is on Desktop #1, but occasionally is on #2.
A few days ago, it was on Desktop #3, so I deleted #3 and it moved to #2. Deleting #2 causes it to move to #1.
It is invisible in normal desktop view, just in the Mission Control View.
What is this pahntom white rectangle?

Resolved researching other posts. It's caused by the Drobo Dashboard.

  • Looks good in design and preview mode, online there is box in lower right corner! How to find box and delete it?

    www.nssgranite.com
    Online, scrolling down and to the right, there is a white box that is linked to a different web site of mine. I don't want that box to be there, but I can't find it in design mode nor preview mode when working with the Muse program. Where is it?? I want to delete it!!

    Thank you. However, I went in, expanded every single layer and did not see anything that was missing it's "eye". I clicked and unclicked everything that was a rectangle and found one rectangle that didn't seem to have representation on the screen. I deleted this rectangle from the layers box, uploaded the site to the internet hoping for the best, and unfortunately this did not solve the problem.
    I wonder, should I just create a new page from scratch to replace this page?
    I don't know if you've seen my other question, but this isn't the only problem I am having with my Muse site. The layout is distorted on all but a select size of screen, and most likely I am going to have to revamp things quite a bit to make them work on the average computer display.
    Thank you for any further suggestions because I am totally open to other thoughts on this!!

  • White box around text in Windows-based PDFs viewed on Mac

    I make a lot of Microsoft Word-based PDFs that include colored, text-filled tables. They look great when viewed on my machine, but Mac users see a faint white outline around the text in each cell of the table. How do I get rid of the white box?

    Very sorry--that's certainly information I should have included. I have Adobe  Acrobat 9 Standard, version 9.3.3. I'm creating the PDFs from within Microsoft  Word 2007 via the Acrobat tab on the ribbon, clicking "Create PDF."

  • Leave Request Team Calendar and Small White Box

    Hello Everyone,
    I am attempting to adjust the team calendar colors in Leave Request using the method TEAM_CALE_ENRICHMENT of BADI CL_PT_ARQ_REQ.  When I set the LegendID field of table CH_CALENDAR_TAB, I am getting a small white box in the Web Dynpro Team Calendar View.  Does anyone know how to get the Team Calendar to not show this box and to correctly show the color?  I noticed a post from a couple of years ago with this same topic, but no solution was entered.
    https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=24695594&messageID=4366488
    Also, I was successfuly in adjusting the colors of the calendar (not team calendar) using the method SET_CALENDAR_COLOR.
    Any ideas on how to properly change colors in the Team Calendar?
    Best Regards,
    Scott

    In the method IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~SET_CALENDAR_COLOR you specify what
    color do you want.This will be with respect to the Legend.
      And in the method IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~SET_CALENDAR_LEGEND_COLORS you
    specify what color the legend specifies. This is set  with respect to
    RED,GREEN,BLUE. Combining this three basic colors the
    rest of the color can be produced.
    There are 16 colors. Please go through the class CL_PT_REQ_CONST.
    For Eg: You want to display the Annual leave in the color with respect
    to the legend C_COLOR_STANDARD. Then in the method
    IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~SET_CALENDAR_LEGEND_COLORS you specify in the internal
    table ch_legend_tab the exact color of
       ch_legend_tab-COLORRED =  C_COLOR_STANDARD_R.
       ch_legend_tab-COLORBLUE =  C_COLOR_STANDARD_G
       ch_legend_tab-COLORGREEN =  C_COLOR_STANDARD_B
       ch_legend_tab-LEGENDID   =  C_COLOR_STANDARD.

  • Bridge icons are white boxes

    I have Bridge ver 1.0.4.6 with PS2. Everything was fine until I had to reformat my PC and reinstall. The first time I launched Bridge it said something about the database and the message went away. Now all the thumbnails are white boxes. It doesn't matter what view, how large the icons ... everything is white which makes the product useless.
    Please help. THis is seriously impacting my workflow.
    TKs.

    Have you tried resetting the preferences? With PS2 hold down crtl alt shift keys when starting Bridge. Have to be quick. When successful will get a reset window. Choose all 3 options.
    Also, make sure the directory where the cache is stored is the same as the directory Bridge is looking at, especially if you do did not have a default location selected.

  • In the iDVD window, there is a box in the lower left corner.  When I scroll over it, I get the message to hide or show the intro movie.  Checking or unchecking the box seems to do nothing.  Can anyone explain?

    Working with iDVD on a project, there is a box in the lower left corner and sometimes another in the lower right corner.  Scrolling over the one in the lower left corner, I get a message indicating that this box hides or shows the intro movie.  I have checked and unchecked the box, but see nothing different in the project.  Nor can I figure out what is meant by "intro movie."  Can anyone explain?

    Go to iDVD Help and type in Intro Movie, and you will get the full version of this:
    Many iDVD themes have “motion menus” that include animations or video that loop, or play repeatedly, until the viewer clicks a menu button. Themes with motion menus have a motion icon in the lower-right corner.
    In addition to background video, iDVD motion menus may also feature an intro, or short animation, that plays once before the part that loops. Other motion menus also include an “outro” that plays after the viewer clicks a button, serving as a transition between the menu and the selected content.
    An example of an iDVD 6.0 theme with an intro and an outro is Reflection White Main. In this theme, the first drop zones appear in the intro, and the buttons and title appear just before the looping part of the background video. In the outro, everything flies offscreen after the viewer clicks a button.
    iDVD provides tools for viewing these motion menus without going into preview mode, which is especially helpful when you are filling drop zones, and for turning the intro or outro off.
    Here are ways to view and edit the background movie:
    ◼
    Drag the diamond-shaped motion playhead along the scrubber bar (shown below), to view the background movie, stopping wherever you like.
    (If you don’t see the motion playhead in iDVD, choose View > Show Motion Playhead.)
    ◼
    Deselect the checkboxes at the left and right end of the scrubber bar if you don’t want to use the intro or outro, respectively, in your DVD menu.
    The scrubber bar shows the intro and outro as shaded areas at the beginning and end.
    You can also control the intro and outro from the Menu Info window. With your pointer over the menu (and with no buttons or text objects selected), press Command-I to open that window. Select or deselect the Intro and Outro checkboxes in the Background section of the window.
    NOTE: If you drag your own movie to a motion menu background, the outro is automatically removed. To customize the background and keep the outro, use a still image in the menu background instead of a movie.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). It also requires the computer to be using wi-fi.
    Do you meet these requirements.

  • Amodal dialog box: positioning in lower right corner of screen

    I have what seems a quite common requirement, that is to automatically position an amodal dialog box (CL_ABAP_DIALOGBOX_CONTAINER) to the lower right corner of the screen.
    The logical approach to do this would be to read the screen resolution, deduct the size of the box, and pass the result to the TOP and LEFT parameters of the constructor of the container.
    Unfortunately, I haven't found any documentation of what the values for TOP and LEFT (and for WIDTH and HEIGHT, for that matter) really represent. They're not screen pixels, that's for sure.
    To read the screen resolution, I execute the following code:
    DATA:
      lo_consumer       TYPE REF TO cl_gui_props_consumer,
      ls_metric_factors TYPE cntl_metric_factors.
      lo_consumer = cl_gui_props_consumer=>create_consumer( ).
      ls_metric_factors = lo_consumer->get_metric_factors( ).
    In ls_metric_factors-screen-x and ls_metric_factors-screen-y I get back the screen resolution (x = 1280 and y = 994 on a 1280 x 1024 screen, weirdly, but close enough). Got this from another SDN post, BTW - thanks.
    When I manually position my dialog box to the farthest right lower corner, so that the mouse cursor can just about reach it, the GET_LEFT and GET_TOP methods for the dialog box return LEFT = 1453 and TOP = 387. So, obviously, these values have nothing to do with screen pixels.
    What I did, then, was to calculate a factor between the screen pixels and the TOP and LEFT values - a factor which is different for the X and the Y dimensions. I got:
    - (1453 / 1280) = 1.135 for the x dimension
    - (387 / 994) = 0.389 for the y dimension.
    With these factors, I calculate the initial position of the box as follows:
    l_box_pos_x = ( ls_metric_factors-screen-x * lc_factor_x ) - lc_box_width.
    l_box_pos_y = ( ls_metric_factors-screen-y * lc_factor_y ) - lc_box_height.
    This seems to work fine, at least on my system and my front-end PC, with all supported resolutions from 800 x 600 up to 1280 x 1024.
    It just leaves the question open: Does anybody know what the unit of measure for the sizing and positioning parameters of controls is? Why a box with a width and a height of 100 [whatevers] each is not square, but rectangular?
    And finally: does somebody have a more intelligent way to do this?
    Thanks, regards & stuff
    Rainer

    Hi Rainer,
    While creating the dialogbox container object, just set metric property to '1' (for Pixels) and then while setting TOP and LEFT you can provide pixels.
    For example,
        CREATE OBJECT REF_DIALOGBOX_CONTAINER
            EXPORTING
                WIDTH = 100
                HEIGHT = 100
                TOP = 638
                LEFT = 924
                CAPTION = 'hello world'
    <b>            metric = 1.</b>
    Then your calculation simply becomes,
    l_box_pos_x = ls_metric_factors-screen-x - lc_box_width.
    l_box_pos_y = ls_metric_factors-screen-y - lc_box_height.
    <b>NOTE: Now you will see that your dialog box is a SQUARE!!</b>
    Hope this helps..
    Sri

  • How do you remove white box around a logo?

    I own the Adobe CS5 suite, but I'm still new to these programs and don't know a lot about image editing and website creation.
    I'm making a website for my boss, and because I don't know how to use Dreamweaver yet, I've been using an awful software program called "Website Tonight," which is very basic and limited, but pretty self explanatory.
    Originally, when I tried to insert the company's logo onto the website, there was a white box showing up around the logo.  I tried several things to cut the white parts out, and it looked like it worked in photoshop, but the box continued to show up on the website.
    Eventally I decided to try to fill in the white parts with the blue background color of the website so it would blend in, and I was successful at this. However, somehow, for some reason, even though this box is the exact color of the background, the top right corner and right side of the box surrounding the logo can be seen on the website. The box isn't visible on the other sides. From what I can tell, there is no shadow selected when I have this image in photoshop, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
    I've looked for solutions online and haven't been able to find any that work. The logo isn't a link on the website, so it isn't related to that. I don't know if this is something that can be fixed in photoshop, or if it's css related, or what.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Here's a picture I took of the computer screen that shows how the logo is appearing.  I filled the white box in with the blue background color of the website hoping to make it blend in, but the box is still visible in the upper right corner and around the middle of the letter C, but not visible in the lower right corner or any other part of the box I filled in.  The color in this area is appearing slightly darker than the background, making the boxe's outline visible on the right.  The fill color is the exact color of the background and the rest of the areas of the box I filled in.  I've tried saving this as a png file and as a jpg.

  • Column of Little White Boxes On Desktop

    There is a strange column of little white boxes in the lower right corner of the desktop.  There is a "9.8" over them.  What is this?

    I don't have the slightest idea what that is, but I have an idea how you can find out.
    Log out of your account, then log back in while holding down the shift key until the Desktop appears. That is, enter you user name and password, then hold the shift key and click the "Log In" button. This will prevent your login items from loading. There's no need to reboot at this point. Do you still see the graphic? If not, then it's being drawn by one of the applications you launched the last time you logged in. Go through them until you find it.

  • I don't like when I scroll over a link on a webpage and the hyperlink shows up on the bottom right in white box... it is extremely annoying. I want to know how to turn it off if possible, otherwise I'm going to have to use another browser. Thank you.

    I don't recall this feature on any other version of firefox. For some reason, I can't stop focusing on the fact that every time I scroll over something on a webpage, an annoying white box pops up in the corner of the website displaying the hyperlink, or showing the fact that the link or whatever is loading... it's unnecessary and to me it appears as clutter, especially when I'm browsing a website that has a colored backdrop because then the annoying box pops out even more. I want to turn it off somehow or get rid of firefox.

  • My Screen Is Blurry, Pixilated and Won't Respond To Touch In Lower Left Corner

    I noticed it was sitting in some serious condensation from my icy drink earlier but it was the backside. First the lower left corner started acting strangely and wouldn't respond to touch. The screen looks blurry like I'm seeing double and then it gets slightly pixilated. It hasn't been updated yet to iOS 7.1.2 though. Wondering if I should power down and put it in the rice for 24 hours. I pulled the sim card out and checked the white to see if it turned red. It didn't, but my last phone was water damaged and it also stayed white.

    Has anyone experienced anything like this from just condensation? I'm rice-bagging it for 48 hours just in case. I couldn't find anything like this online.
