White iPhone 4s 32gb ship date

I ordered a white 32gb iPhone 4s at my local Verizon store on 12/5. I purchased it as a gift for my daughter and was assured that it would be in for Christmas, and it was supposed to arrive at the store this week. The Verizon store can give me no information regarding its whereabouts or when it will arrive, nor have I received a tracking number or any other information that can be used to find out when the phone will come.
I was hoping that it would miraculously arrive today so that my daughter would get her Christmas present, but apparently not. Verizon thinks it will come 'sometime next week'. I'm hoping that's true. Has anyone else received information about when their phones will ship?

But it could have been worse....We could have ordered a computer monitor and had it thrown over the fence by the delivery man from Fed Ex!........And these mega corporations wonder why the public hates them.....Amasing!
In your case...as much as you want to blame VZW this seems to rest solely on FedEx. IF weather was a factor then that guarantee is voided regardless of who the shipper is (no idea if weather has anything to do with it...just pointing that out since if you read the term and conditions on any of the major shippers websites you will see that delays caused by acts of nature can affect delivery and will not count under the guaranteed delivery time).
As far as having to pay to get it shipped to her...it's possible (not guaranteed) that you can have FedEx ship it to her overnight for free due to the circumstances...assuming that the delay wasn't based on something impossible to control (again I mention weather since that could have caused the plane to be grounded). You would need to contact them tomorrow to see what can be done.
I don't work for either company and I'm not saying that you shouldn't be disappointed...I know I would be too. But like you said...it could have been worse. And...you never know...something may happen that makes this incident a little less disappointing. Not sure how far the Tampa Facility is from you or what time your daughter will be leaving but the possibility exists that she'll still receive it before she leaves...wishful thinking perhaps.     I preordered a 16GB space gray iPhone 6 shortly after 3:01 AM EST on Friday September 12.  In my confirmation email, it says the phone will be delivered by 9/19. However, when I look up my order number to track it, the Expected Ship Date is "Not available at this time".

    I'm having same issue with my order.  I've called, and the folks have been really nice on the cust service line, but they weren't able to give me any info and they still didn't send me my confirmation email.  I was really hoping I would have my phone by 9/19, but at this point I'm kinda doutbful.  I would really appreciate the VZW folks to help me out here.  Did I mention I buy the caffeinated beverage of choice of any CSR who can help me out?!??  Thanks VZW, can't wait for my iphone 6 plus and volte!

    So, my iPhone 6 16 go space grey was supposed to ship yesterday but I didnt get any notice of it shipping. I've waited a month for it to miss its ship date? Really Verizon?

    I have checked the order status and it still stays in process. I want my phone!!

    I am having the same issue. Both my boyfriend and I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 on 9/12 (the launch of the pre-order). He ordered on the phone about 2 hours before I ordered online. Both our expected ship dates were 10/7. I checked again a few days later and both our expected ship dates changed to 10/3. He received his shipment details on Thursday 9/25 and received his phone last Monday 9/29. My expected ship date is still 10/3 (today) and I have still received no shipment information. I'm really frustrated and would like my phone or at least information about the status of my phone.

    I had an expected ship date of 10/3. I called earlier to find out if the phone would actually ship and they told me that the order was held up due to a change of address...Really?!? I called DAYS before and asked to change the shipping address and after 20 minutes they told me I couldn't until the phone was shipped. So now they still have no answers as to when the phone will ship. Verizon needs to get it together!!!!

    My shipping date changed about a week ago to 10/3 for an iPhone 6+ 64GB Space Gray. When I pre-ordered on the 12th, it was expected 9/19 delivery date. Confirmation email came back 2 hours lated with 10/7/14 (very not cool of Verizon - never ordering anything from them again for misleading ship dates and then never formally addressing the problem). From there, the order shipping status was "Unavailable" for about a week, then it was showing 10/7/14 for a few days, and now its 10/3/14.  I'll let you know if it changes.

    I ordered a 64GB iPhone 6 plus on 10/13 with 11/7 ship date. Nothing yet from verizon hoping it comes earlier than that though. Have been hearing alot of people getting further delays.

Then Friday afternoon (10-31-2014) I spent an hour and 10 minutes on the phone to verify status. The said it would ship today 11-03-2014 to Wednesday 11-05-2014, and said it did come in at Verizon that day 10-31-2014.
    The shocker was at 7:30pm EST time i received an e-mail stating my phone would not ship until 11-21-2014.
    Do not trust it will be coming until you get a tracking number......
    I have never had this bad of service with Verizon, and I have been with them for well over 10 years now. I wish you the best on your phone delivery, they have yet to explain to me how mine got pushed out to Thanksgiving???

    I pre-ordered the iphone 6 plus on 9/15.  I had an original ship date of 10/21 and now it has been pushed back to 10/24.  I know people who ordered after me and have already received theirs.  After staying on hold forever, I too was disconnected.  When I called to check the status it says received and activated?  Has anyone else had the same issue, it seems Verizon is impossible to get in contact with for any answers.

  • Iphone 6 plus ship date pushed up!!

    Although my original ship date was supposed to be 9/19, and was then pushed back to 10/7, I checked this morning and it was pushed up to 10/3.  That is a little bit of good news!  I can only hope it gets pushed up again!
    A little less frustrating

    I agree Wiugraduate17 it isn't exactly good news considering we were told 9/19 to begin with. But, I am still happy to see the date moving back just for the simple fact that I don't want to wait an additional month to get it. Verizon & Apple as well as all other mobile carriers knew that this was going to be HUGE. They knew everyone was waiting for a bigger and better iPhone. They had the knowledge to prepare, and didn't. It was a complete failure on their part. When customers are willing to pre-order phones in the middle of the night, they need to be able to fulfill the orders and make their devoted and loyal customers know it wasn't a waste of time.

    I was unlucky and had the error and was finally able to order my iPhone 6 16gb space gray at 6 central time. I recieved my email which said DELIVERY date of 9/19. I went on my account yesterday and my order didn't appear. I then did the advanced search and was able to get it to show with my preorder number. It said SHIP date 9/17. Why are those different is my first question? Then now today it says that it is unavailable? What's going on?

You may not be able to see a change from Processing until it officially ships, then you'll see the tracking number. Did you receive a confirmation email that your order was submitted? Additional information throughout the fulfillment process is usually sent to that same email address.

  • IPhone 6 Plus ship date updated but...

    So, I've been waiting for an update on my order status since I ordered the phone the night of the release, I finally got a ship date of 10/14/14 and my order still does not have a receipt of the purchase nor' is it in my recent orders. Is anybody else experiencing this situation? I also went through the EDGE up program and I paid the extra $70 at the time of purchase to edge up. I didn't get the contract for that either.     Hello, so my experience was frustrating as well.  I logged on by 12:01 am PST, tried to preorder, kept getting the ECPD error for the next 40 minutes.  I finally was able to place my order aroud 12:57 am.  Never received an email because they had the wrong email address on file.  I called the (800) 922-0204 in the morning and they said that my order was fine, gave me my confirmation number and I had the expected ship date by 9/19.  I took their word for it and waited.  By Monday, still no charge on my CC and no order status updated on My Verizon.  I read from a previous post that the internet sales line (866) 338-7390 was more helpful.  So I called that number and spoke with someone who said that according to the time that my order was accepted and the fact that I ordered a 6+, i should expect a ship date of 10/7 and to check on my status on the 1st.  I was happy that I finally got some information that sounded valid.  Low and behold, my CC was charged yesterday, my order showed up in My Verizon and I had a ship date of 10/7.  A couple of hours later, my tracking number showed up and said it would ship on 9/18/14 and it would be delivered by 9/19/14 8:00 pm.  It was actually delivered at 8:45 am this morning.  I realize I'm one of the lucky ones, the only advice I can give you is to call the 800 number and see what they say, because so far, they were the only ones who gave the right info from the beginning.
    Hope this helps or just gives hope to someone out there.

    That's exactly my thought! One of my friends is a manager at a Verizon store and he said you will get it no more than two days after the pre-order. I like that answer but because of all of the different responses, I'm not sure which one to believe.

    I ordered my iPhone 5 on September 23. It's saying I have a delivery date of October 23-30. I just wonder if there is any chance of my phone shipping earlier than that. I hate waiting!

    I ordered my phone on September 21 from Verizon and received my phone today.  The phone is in excellent condition. There are no scuffs or nicks in the phone.  I was worried due to some of the comments I read during the past two weeks.  I checked the phone very carefully and I am very pleased with the condition of the phone.

    Assuming they do just get to shipping the iphone 4S on the 14th, does verizon overnight phone orders so that I would get it on the 15th? I've never bought a phone online before so i'm not sure how this works.

    It's all based on inventory. Those who pre-ordered online basically are guranteeing themselves a phone with out having to wait in line for what may or may not be there. Lets say there were 15,000 iphones available for preorder to actually be shipped on the 14th. And then the stores in your area got 5 iphones a piece. Then By preordering you are ensuring that you will get a phone in that next batch of orders where as with out pre ordering, you would have to go to a store and wait in line and if there are no phones left by the time you get in the store then you STILL have to be put on a waiting list, now the difference is your way lower on the list than the person who pre-ordered. Now youre right, some people may be able to walk into a store and get a phone BEFORE those that pre-ordered will get theres but thats a gamble. Store phone availabliity will be based on inventory and willingness to wait. People in the suburbs will probably be able to walk in and pick one up. Someone who lives in downtown seattle probably wouldnt be able to do that with out camping out front for a couple of days.

  • White iPhone 4 QUESTION

    So, no one knows anything about the white iPhone 4. But my best guess is that the Apple store will have them before anyone else (Best Buy, Walmart, AT&T, Radio Shack etc.)
    Do you think the Apple store will have a small amount of white iPhone 4s on the launch date, the 24th? This makes the most sense to me. If they come out with the white iPhone a month from now, everyone will be trying to return the black ones, and that would be a mess for Apple.
    The Apple store having a small amount of white iPhones on the launch date, makes the most sense to me. So, if that is true, then do you think they would offer them to the people buying that day, instead of the ones who have pre ordered the BLACK one?

    I seriously doubt that any white iPhones are going to be available. It' fun to dream though.
    But the pre order people pre ordered the black iphone, if the white is available I'm not thinking they can just switch. Apple has only said, it's a first come first serve basis. They will have the specific iPhone that you pre ordered waiting all day.
