I have tried a several times to repairing permissions, restarting the mac, relaunched Finder, but no difference.
I copied the download folder to the dock...there I can open the files, but not deleting them or copying them.
When I open finder, then I click on the folder Download, after a while of thinking, it throws me out and back to the desktop.
already tried to sign in with the guest user account, then I am able to open the download folder.(but not seeing my files)
When I am trying to change the download folder in Safari, it also throws me out and gives me a error report ,for sending to Apple.
I think it's a settings fault or i think my download folder is locked. Almost desperat, already called support center,
They couldn't help, for free, due the 90 days free online help i have reached. If I want to solve this problem, they could try it , but it cost me almost 50 euros.
hope there is someone, who's knowing this problem.
By the way, I think it also could be that I dragged some downloaded music to the desktop, and dragged some folder that has the settings. Now its changed???
Or I was downloading something, and deleted the files in the download folder while it was unpacking and reparing the files.
It's not easy for a beginner Mac user (3 months) to already solve this problems.

Internet Explorer Page Refresh in Stateful BSP ?

Hello All,
 I created a BSP Application with "Page-with-Flow-Logic" not MVC Model and the output page of this BSP conatins the Push Buttons which will handle the Download to XLS,XML,HTML and PDF along with the output Table view.
This particular output page is stateful.
The Output is displayed in the Tableview as per the selection and now if I use the Buttons to Download the Tableview content to any of the above mentioned options(XLS,XML,HTML,PDF) It gets downloaded perfectly depending on the choosed option and shows the Downloaded Content in a new window.
Now after seeing the downloaded content in the respective format in the new window the User closes the window manually.This closing of window is not done thru the code.
After closing the Download content window manually and now If I press REFRESH Button on the INTERNET EXPLORER PAGE a pop-up is raised saying :-
The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information.Click RETRY to send the informmation again or click CANCEL to return to the page that you were trying to view.
Now If I choose either RETRY or CANCEL Button I'm again getting the window of the Downloaded Content along with the Output page.
I debugged the BSP to know the actual reason after pressing the REFRESH Button of the Internet Explorer.
The Events are not getting cleared and so since the last event was " to download the content to a format and to open a new window ". The window is again getting opened with all the data which was there previously as there is no code to close it.
1, How to avoid this ?
Atleast I want to close the new window (DOWNLOAD Content) thru the codeafter the USER closes it manually. Can this be acheived ?

2, When Internet Explorer's REFRESH Button is pressed I want to clear everything on the particular output page.
Is it possible to do this when my page is stateful ?
If yes can anyone help me out......

Switch internet explorer page to firefox

I found an application called ViewInFirefox (formerly FirefoxView) Firefox Extension which my current page in internet explorer (IE) to show in firefox. But it does not work in IE9. Is there other replacement for it?

Here is something that you can try:
# Click on Tools and then click Options.
# Select the Advanced panel
# Select the General tab
# Uncheck Use hardware acceleration where available.
# Click File and then click Exit.
# Start Firefox normally.
Once you have followed those steps, you'll want to follow these as well and see if the lines are gone.
Click the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
Let me know if this has eliminated the problem.

My IPAD 2 is freezing on the principal internet explorer page. It presents the google home page with a grey filter over it and does not respond to any touch or key. All other internet dependent functions seem to be working (i.e. mail, various APPs etc.)

Go to Settings-Safari and Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
Another thing you can try is to double-click the Home button. A row of recent Apps will line up along the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and find the Safari icon. Press on it for a couple of seconds until it starts to wiggle. A red minus sign will appear on each icon. Press on Safari's minus sign to remove it. This may clear its memory of the bad Google page.
If this does not help, try resetting (rebooting) the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.

Internet Explorer Pages Disappear

Friends - This four page web site appears and works properly in Safari, Firefox, and Opera. However, when I test it in Internet Explorer, the page draws completely and then completely disappears.
Each page is one graphic with two or three invisible buttons along the bottom edge. I am testing in Safari using the Develop menu & User Agent. By trial and error I discovered that if I disable JavaScript, the pages render properly in Internet Explorer. However, I had to turn JavaScript back on to log on in here.
What am I missing / doing wrong / forgetting? It's a Windows/Internet Explorer world out there and I hope to reach those downtrodden many. Thanks for your help. - Fabe

There's nothing in the Activity window for that site that I can see that would cause that. The image files are not large and you only have a few files associated with each page. You might try converting the png image files to jpg and see if that helps. Other that that I can't help.
Wyodor or Ethmoid might see something in the files that could be the culprit.

is it possible to set the page setup of internet explorer from our Reports Developer Suite 9i. What i mean to say is to set the right, left, top etc. properties of Internet Explorer(6.0) programmatically via code from Reports Developer Suite 9i.

You may explore calling WinAPI functions that does the necessary settingd as desired. You may implement this using Java (using native keyword) and call this method using Java Importer feature in one of the report triggers.
If you want a platform independent approach, implement this logic in a library (either .dll or .so) and then provide a wrapper for this implementation using Java.

All of a sudden, my display screen with fox fire enlarged, I can not return it to the original size, can not find the button to reduce it. If I go on line with Internet Explorer, the page size is normal?

I thought it might have happened with an update - I used the
computer software to look for any problems - I turned the power off and on again, fired irefox back up and still get the large display?

I don't have ML so I can't comment on the back button but the problem with screen size may be a matter of you scrolling while pressing the CMD or CTRL buttons. You should be able to adjust which of these to use through Systems Pref > Mouse and then Zoom control in the bottom box.

Problem with firewall and java on line sites internet explorer

i have been experiencing problems with java on line games because the firewall has blocked usage.On two of them when i press play to play the game a message appears error on page.If i dowload mozilla will i have the same problems? also when downloading from my gmail account again error on page. White Overlay On Internet Explorer 9/Windows 7

I was wondering if anyone else has run into an issue where the player will have a white, semi-transparent overlay over the video?
This only seems to repro on IE9 and on Windows 7. I have checked other versions/browsers on the same computer and they work fine.
I have also tried turning off hardware acceleration.
If I use wmode=direct the video renders fine, but because of other elements on the webpage, this not a solution that we can pursue.

Yeah, this is really strange. We have 1.2 billion users, so it's pretty rare to find someone with a unique problem. Unfortunately, I don't have any good suggestions for you. It's especially odd that it's happening with multiple graphics chipsets.
I know that you've mentioned that some video plays back normally, but this is so weird that I'm leaning towards something really simple like a bad pin on the monitor cable. If you have another display cable that you can swap out (or another display), it would be pretty quick and easy to rule those possibilities out.

Scrolling with mouse on pages create black and white lines,

When scrolling with mouse, periodically the whole screen turns into black and white lines. Sometimes whole page, sometimes just pictures/side ads. If you continue to scroll it does go away but then you need to scroll back to where the lines started, its hard to explain, i have taken 1 photo of the problem but will take more photos as i can, i really enjoy how Firefox runs on my computer, it has always been the best browser for my needs. I did recently buy a new desktop, but it did it then also, so i removed it and tried running explorer and Google and i just don't like them, so i am hoping we can get this fixed.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Internet Explorer is opening itself with blank pages

About two weeks ago, I was on my laptop when my buddy thought it to be funny when he started pressing a number of random keys on my keyboard. When he did this my computer screen froze and I had to restart the computer. When it came back on I tired to get
onto Internet Explorer. I opened it and it came up a blank page, and wouldn't let me put anything into the address bar and nothing but a white screen comes up.
Now two weeks later the Internet Explorer page is popping up on it's own and the page is still blank. Plus the pages are popping up about five at a time. This is become a very frustrating issue, especially since I just got this laptop a couple months ago.
Is there anything that I can do to fix this issue without having to take it somewhere? I'm not very IT capable, but I now normally enough to get through small issue, but not this time. Any help would be great!

Do you have other browsers, same issue were found on these browses or only IE was faced with this issue.
First run a security scan. If nothing was detected, reset IE for a test.
You can also go to Control Panel->Action Center->Troubleshooting->View All
Then choose Internet Explorer Performace in the list (it is not included in some windows versions). It will begin to fix you IE. if it doesn’t correct, please paste the diag repot here.
Check Event Viewer to find related error information.

Trying to set up script error notification on my Imac when using internet explorer pages - where / how do I set this up for my Imac?

Weird graphics and other issues with internet explorer in all versions.

One of our laptops has an issue with their Internet Explorer. First, whenever the user logs on and starts internet explorer and navigates to any website, the website loads for a bit but then immediately displays a "Page cannot be displayed" error.
Every single time. If we try browsing again/refreshing the page it loads fine. But during regular browsing, we might get that page again.
Another issue that happens is sometimes the graphics logos won't load properly. See screenshot:

And this happens a lot. If this won't happen, the websites will only load with half its formatting missing.
Now we have:
-Thoroughly checked computer for viruses. Several full scans have been done with MalwareBytes with no issues found. Microsoft Security Essentials has been installed, full scan done, no viruses/spyware/adware found.
-We have tried upgrading to IE11. Same issue. Downgraded to IE10. Same issue. Downgraded to IE9, same issue yet again. IE was Reset each time.
We checked if it could be a network issue, but none of the other computers connected to the same switch has issue like that.
Any suggestions/ideas to try?

Unwanted white lines and boxes in PDFs viewed on ios

hello - i have been having some serious issues with creating pdfs for mac users.
on windows they look great - no matter what settings i use - however i have been getting feedback that on a mac there are verticle lines or thin white boxes around text within tables.
no matter what settings i try i simply cannot get the pdfs to look like they do on windows machines. i cant understand why they would look different!
i am using word 2010 and acrobat 9 pro.
i have tried toggling 'smooth images' - ensurting i have no cropped images on the page - i have tried just about everything.
if i print to PDF - the vertical lines appear. if i 'save as' PDF the vertical lines are not visible, however the white boxes appear around text. i cant win!
i would appreciate any assistance. if i cant get this to work i will lose this client.

thanks for your response. i have uploaded two versions:
Print to PDF
Save as PDF
Print to PDF is when i print to PDF from Word. this results in the horizontal white lines as seen from page 2 onwards.
Save as is when i save as PDF from Word. this results in the boxes around text within the tables.
please note that my customer will not accept the fact that they use use preview as an excuse. they view many PDFs a day without these problems - in fact they can create their own PDFs from Word and they do not have these lines.
additionally, i have an iphone, and if you view these PDFs on iphone, you can see the lines. unfortunately many of their clients use iphones. so i really need to be able to create these PDFs without these lines.
i appreciate any help you can provide.
