Hi and welcome to the forums mcming!
A couple of places for you to visit: Blackberry 101     Tips & Tricks
Ouch.  Sorry to hear that. Do you have any sort of error message?  Have you tried a battery pull to reset the device?  Post back and let us know (in detail) what you have tried and if there have been any changes to your device.
Have a look at this thread 9300 white screen  and what the user tried to solve their issue.  Sounds like it may be a hardware issue.
Happy to have you here!

  • Email not opening This is a sudden thing, Email had been working fine for two months then today would not stay open now it will not open at all. after trying to open mail I receive a white screen for a nano second and the app closes

Email not opening on my iPad2 This is a sudden thing, email had been working fine since purchasing the device then today would not stay open,  now it will not open at all. After trying to open mail I receive a white screen for a nano second and the app closes.

Have you tried closing the Mail app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Iphone 3gs shows white screen for a second and reboots.

While I play games, watch videos or do anything, the iphone displays a totally white screen for less than a second and then it reboots. After this it starts normally and then this all happens again after about 10-20 mins.
Plz give me any suggestions to fix it. What is the problem? any hardware prob??

    Hello, noyz23il.
I would agree that this is a unique issue.  I have attached an article that goes over basic troubleshooting that may help.  In this article, see the sections referring to display, camera and blank white screen.  If this does not resolve the issue, please see the last section regarding "issue not resolved".

  • IMac 27" 3.06ghz white screen for 40 seconds on start up before grey apple

when i start up my iMac 27" 3.06GHZ i get a white screen for 40 seconds before the grey apple appears and it boots up.
If anyone else is experiencing this or has a solution it would be great if you could reply.
    Cheers.

    Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum, i have recently bought a new imac 27" i7, i don't have any problems with white screens when starting up, the imac runs great, however when i try playing any games thats when the problems start. i installed X-plane it first worked without any problems but not in full resolution, i upgraded the resolution to the maximum imac resolution and from that moment every time i start the game the screen turns white you can hear the imac starting the game and even for a while sound appears, but then after 30 seconds the programs fails and you get a typical apple message.
i have also tried installing need for speed, here i didn't change anything to the graphics however the problem occurred straight away. white screen then the sound of the games menu and crash. did anyone else have this problem? is there a solution to this? i would like to apologize if this matter has been discussed in earlier forums. However i hope there is someone whom is able to give me a helping hand here. Whats wrong???? thanks ruben

  • I have a white screen for imessage.  Everything else works but I can't do anything on imessage.

I have a white screen for imessage.  Everything else works but I can't do anything with imessage.  How can I fix this?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and sign out and sign back in
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • White Screen on Curve 8520 when battery is fully or almost fully charged

    Hello everyone,
This is my first post on Blackberry forums. My first Blackberry was a Curve 8310 and I recently obtained a Curve 8510. Beyond the trackball clogging/ replacement on the 8310, I had no issues at all. On the other hand, my 8520 continues to go "White Screen" even when the battery is charged. I notice it happens more when I am outside. I also experience very quick battery drains with no programs running in the background.
-2 different batteries tested with same problem.
-O/S installed and re-installed. Device wiped and re-installed again.
A battery pull will reboot but sometimes take a few attempts even when battery is 70% plus. I have read all the support forums and have not found a definitive answer or another Blackberry user with the same concern. Please help! Thanks in advance

Hello all again, Here is the answer to my own question regarding "White Screen on Blackberry Curve" It is the battery. I tried two different batteries; one was the original battery that came with the phone and the other came from my previous Blackberry Curve. Both batteries charged quickly and full but did not fully power the Curve which caused the White Screen when many applications were running, outside in the heat, or when the battery reached 70% or less. Bought an OEM Blackberry battery and the Curve 8520 has not had a problem since and the phone can go all day without a plug in or failure. White Screen = get a new battery. Hope this helps someone down the road.

  • White screen for ipod touch

i have a ipod touch 4g for almost one month of use.my problem is why my ipod turns to white screen? i already restore it .and i also try holding the menu and  off button but its doesbt work .can you suggest hiw to fix it ?? i will appreciate your reply thank you.

Let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour try the reset (both buttons) and connect to computer and restore if necessary.

  • My ipod touch won't turn on at all it goes from a black screen to a white screen for a short while?

My ipod screen wont turn on it just stays on a blank screen and sometimes a white screen comes up

    Try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If you can't fully turn the iPod off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.
If not success then time for an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • White screen for jspx files

    Hello,
I'm trying to deploy a basic Hello World ADF Faces Rich Client application.
Any .html files are being served up fine, but any jspx files are just giving me a white screen in the browser. For example:
    http://server1/TestApp/index.html - works fine.
    http://server1/TestApp/faces/testPage.jspx - gives white screen.
I'm sure I'm missing something ridiculous, but any help gratefully received.
Running JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 on WLS 11.1.1.6 using either integrated WLS or standalone managed server.
    Thanks

    Timo,
Many thanks, that seems to have fixed Hello World for me, although I'm unclear from your blog as to why having the bindings set should be causing me a problem, other than potentially memory utilisation.
The reason I wrote Hello World was because I couldn't get my original demo to work - specifically the one from http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/jdev/obe11jdev/ps1/ria_application/developriaapplication_long.htm

  • White screen for apps update?

My iPhone has a problem with the update of apps. It shows an update. If I want to install this, just a white screen. Does anyone have a solution to this? iPhone 4s with latest update.

    Hello there, Rev Susi.
From what I can gather you have a few apps that only display "Waiting". The following is a past discussion that dealt with a similar issue, the answer may help you as well:
App updates won't download on my...: Apple Support Communities
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4111336
Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

  • White screens for quicktime movies upon upgrade

Just in case anyone runs into this..
I just upgraded my macbook to 10.4.8 and as soon as I did I couldnt watch any .mov files.. not off my drive, not off a cd, not off the quicktime website.
Just a blank white screen came up. These were not non native quicktime codecs.
Reinstalling quicktime from apple's website directly did fix the problem.

QuickTime Pro now includes an "Export for Web" feature (File menu).
This method makes a "reference movie" that can "detect" your page visitors connection device (and speed) and serve up just the right file. It also makes the "poster" image file and writes the correct html page code to copy/paste into a new or existing Web page.
The poster image also show the "mouse hand" when the cursor move over it and includes a "click to play" graphic.

  • Help to Diagnose Blank, White Screen for 4th Gen iPod

Can you help me diagnose my problem? Fully charged Ipod Gen 4 syncs and plays music, but I can’t navigate due to blank, white screen. Reset to original factory settings from iTunes, re synced with no improvement. Doesn’t even show apple or battery icon when charging. Any advice?

So you basically cannot see anything on the screen, because it is all white.
Since it can play music, connect your earphones and let it play continuously until it runs out of power and turns off. Keep trying to turn it back on and playing music until it will no longer turn on. Then let it sit disconnected for at least 24 hours.
You are trying to make the battery dead so that the iPod is completely unpowered.
Then connect it to the computer or the power adapter and see if the screen is working again.
Alternately, if you know how to open the iPod with the plastic tools, you can simply disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect.
There is always the possibility that your iPod's screen has become defective.
