White screen/page shown after logon to Internet Sales

Hi!
We have installed Internet Sales R/3 Edition for B2B and have configured it with XCM according to the documents "CRM Web Application Installation Guide 4.0, SP0" and "Internet Sales R/3 Edition", the latter found on SAP Best Practices. Both Shopadmin and B2B are configured and the "jcoping" ping test works in both cases. The user in R/3 is of "standard type" and not of "service type" or alike. This user can logon to the NW04 portal using R/3 as method of authentication. That's why he's chosen for ISA as well.
But when I try to logon to Internet Sales with this user I just get a totally blank page and a URL that looks like this:
...:50000/b2b/b2b/login.do;jsessionid=(J2EE4082300)ID4082350DB181644782240539570End;saplb_*=(J2EE4082300)4082350
I don't know if this is good or bad. Before I corrected some settings another person had done in the XCM, I got two different messages when trying to log on:
"Name or password is incorrect (Please repeat logon)"
first and then
"Error in user administration, call our hotline "
(Depending on what settings I had done).
First I thought I was making progress since the URL indicates some kind of session id etc, but then I saw that I got the same URL with "session id" even if I just wrote rubbish at the logon.
Does anyone have any ideas about what to do?
Best regards
Benny Lange

  • White screen of death after 3 mins of usage

Hiyah, so my iphone got the so called "White screen of death" after 3 minutes of usage, i've tried restore and all of that but without success.
    What should i do?
Send it in for repair? (seems really ridicilous if have to since it was bought the same day)
    or
Take it back to the store where i bought it and ask for a new one?
Thanks in advance, oh yeah.. i live in Sweden.

Standard troubleshooting steps in the following order:
    1. Reset: Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the apple logo, then release. Ignore the slide to power off.
    If no change, continue:
    2. Restore your phone from your most recent backup, Note, however: if the problem is related to corrupt data in your phone's backup, while this will restore a fresh OS, it will also restore the problem.
    If no change, continue:
    3. Restore as a "new" phone in itunes & re-sync your content. All saved data will be lost.
If no change, make an appointment at an Apple store, as you most likely have a hardware problem. There are no more user troubleshooting steps available.

I think you need to wait until Toshiba has solved this.

  • Palm TX replacement unit has white screen issues even after hard reset

I hope somebody can help me find a solution.
I was a happy Palm OS user since the early days of Palm III.  After a Palm III and a V, had a Sony Clie that lasted a long time, but finally pooped out, went to a Z22 and broke the screen, then almost but not quite a year ago (in warranty, supposedly), purchased a Palm TX.  Worked great for a while but ended up with a unit I couldn't turn on or off because the power switch had died.  Worked around that by keeping the sync cord in and powering on by pushing the button and then canceling.  Finally sent it in for in-warranty repair.  Got back a new-to-me unit.
This worked fine for almost a month, then it started (with no new software or usage patterns) to have blank screen issues.  To solve this I have tried many things.  Soft resets, hard resets, leaving it to fully run out its battery for weeks at a time.  Nothing works; it continues to go blank on me.  In addition, the sound is strange and screechy when it beeps (e.g. accepting time zone after reset).  I bought the TX in the US when I was home for a visit last July, but am living in the Netherlands currently.
I contacted the Palm repair center in the UK that replaced my original unit; they said would pass on word of my troubles to Palm and Palm should contact me, otherwise to e-mail them.  They haven't.  I can't find an e-mail address for to explain all of this to anyone with any power to help me.  I have tried to use the Palm support website to solve this problem, but neither the original serial number or the serial number of the replacement unit I have now is showing up as eligible for warranty repair.  I have tried to call the US Palm support number (http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/article/47005_en.html#howservice), but I get "calling is temporarily unavailable."  When I click "here" when asked "If you wish to query the warranty status of your handheld, or would prefer to arrange a repair through our Technical Support service, click here" (https://www.euroservice.palm.com/repair_entry/NLD/EE) I end up on a page that says simply "Please Enter the Source Url."  I am hesitant to supply credit card information for an issue that, if it can't be covered under warranty (which I think it should be, since I'm still within the original 12 month warranty period), I may well abandon.
I am very frustrated in trying to get this fixed.  I am disappointed in the dwindling support for a PDA (that is not a phone) with Palm OS.  Since I am living (though not comfortably or well) without my calendar, address book, alarm, reader, dbs, cookbook, checklist, etc., I am seriously considering leaving the Palm OS.  My preference is to get this fixed, and my idea nearly a year ago was to ride the Palm OS until it disappeared completely (subsumed into phones anyway), but my problems have discouraged me to the point that I am wondering if this is my end.
       Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Thanks for your help!
I don't know how to tell for certain if this is a US or a UK device, but it looks identical to the one I bought in a store in Seattle, and the first five and the last two num/letters of the serial number are identical.  I do know that when I sent it in originally for the power button failure, that the Palm repair center understood that it was a Palm purchased in the States.  Their description of the goods received is "Palm TX , US and ML" so it seems apparent that they knew it was a US device and rather than refusing to repair it, they had me send it to them.  And when my repair was returned, the repair details list "unit exchange" and type of unit is again listed as Palm TX US & ML.
Well, regardless, I appreciate your pointing me in the right directions to someone who can help me.
Ironically, I am no longer having the same issues with the Palm.  The latest round of letting the power run out after a hard reset and sit for a few weeks seems to have "fixed" it.  At least, I have been trying to break it (by using it) without success.  Recharged it, synced it, checked and sent mail with it, used all the programs I used to, and I haven't had a white screen in the past few days.  Hope my luck continues, but I don't trust it.  All hail frequent syncing.
    Thanks again.

  • Etting a white screen when viewing slide show using internet explorer

When I or my clients view a slide show I created in Lightroom 1.4 using Internet Explorer we often get a white screen instead of the slide show. When we view the same using Firefox it works perfectly. I have downloaded Adobe flash reader and it doesn't help. I am including a link to my site if anyone would like to check it out. http://www.ajs-photography.com/ViewWedding.html . Is there a setting in Lightroom that I'm missing or something wrong with the way IE is configured. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • White screen of death after using with car charger

I plugged my iphone into a brand new belkin car charger and it instantly caused the screen to go white. I unplugged it immediately and then reset it.
The next day I charged it and it booted up ok, but would not acquire the cell network and then would not respond to touch.
I then rebooted again and rather than getting pure white screen, I got lines of different colour vertically up and down the screen. Eventually it then created a white screen again. Everytime I reset or touched any button, the same sequence would occur - flicker of coloured lines on the screen and then  fill out to a white screen. Plugging it into a mac made no difference, it was not recognised by the computer.
It is now completely bricked and does not respond to anything.
    Anyone seen anything similar ?

Yes!!! After the 1.1.1 update, I had the exact same thing happen with my Belkin Auto Kit. A real bummer, because until I updated, I was happy as a clam listening to music in my car off my iPhone.
Anyway, I had the same thing happen- white screen with flashing colored lines and then a whole bunch of problems. Eventually, my iPhone became completely unresponsive. An Apple Genius took one look at it and gave me a new phone.

  • White Screen of Death (after restoring)

Guys, I've been dealing with the White Screen of Death, but it was always solved by turning it off/on, or restarting it.
The white screen used to happen when leaving my iPod for 3 days without using it.
However this time, 4 days passed without touching it, and I can't make it work.
I tried restoring it from a recent backup without success.
    What could I do?
Is it hardware or software problem?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • White screen on startup after using Bootcamp

    I have a Mid 2011 21.5 inch iMac, 2.7GHz i5, 1TBHDD, 12GB DDR3 Memory, AMD HD6770M.
I also have it configured with a Bootcamp partition running windows, which is about 200GB. The other day, after running bootcamp, I restarted the computer in OSX from the Windows menu. The computer would initially not restart in OSX. It just sat there with the screen displaying all white. I did a hard restart with the power button, and after showing the all white screen for approximately another 5 minutes, the Apple logo finally showed up and it booted into OSX.
Since doing this I now have this same issue every time I turn on the iMac. It's only resolved by holding down the option key and selecting the Macintosh HDD from the available bootup disks. I've been running Bootcamp on this machine now for over a year and never had this issue before.
This is highly unusual, but has me worried. I also had a 2007 MacBook, which got a case of "white screen of death" about a month ago, and its irreparable.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what the problem might be? Failing HDD (it's not one of the recall models)? Motherboard? A problem with Bootcamp?
    Any fixes people know about?
    Thanks

  • Stuck on White screen and pinwheel after installing Leopard

Tried to install Leopard last night, everything appeared to go fine. But this morning when I woke up the screen was stuck on a white screen with apple in the middle and the grey wheel below it (yes it is moving) so I think the cd just wont finish running. Problem is can not get the disc to eject or the computer to do anything. Have tried everything I could fine on website including turning off and unplugging for 30 minutes but when turn back on still get the same screen. Help, Im new to Mac and very frustrated. Thanks

When you turn on the computer, hold down the mouse button. The disk should eject.
Did you notice if the disk passed the selfcheck.
Leaving an optical drive running actively overnight is not a good idea.
During any install, it is always best to babysit it. That way you can quickly spot anything unusual and take care of it immediately. You can also see the progress and read any information screen that pops up.
After you remove the DVD, the system may still not boot for other reasons, but if you have problems, restart it and hold down the shift key to enter the safe mode and see if it boots.

  • I have a white screen at startup after installing Yosemite. Help!

imac 2011 goes to white screen and black cursor during startup

    Hello Hackdog1,
It sounds like you are unable to boot your Mac after updating to Yosemite  I would recommend you use the troubleshooting in the following article to help resolve the issue:
Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup
Start with these steps, and work your way down the rest of the article if needed:
Disconnect, test peripheral devices and network cables
Note: "Peripheral devices" refers to external devices other than what came with your Mac, such as hard drives, printers, or hubs that you connect via a USB or FireWire cable.
Shut down your Mac. If necessary, hold your Mac's power button for several seconds to force it to power down.
Disconnect all peripheral devices such as external hard drives or printers (leave only the display, a keyboard, and mouse connected).
    Disconnect any Ethernet cables.
    Start up your Mac.
If you can start up this way, one or more of your peripheral devices (or installed software related to the device) is probably causing the gray screen issue. Connect one device, then restart your Mac to test for the issue. Repeat the process until you locate the device at issue. Make sure the device is powered if it needs to be to operate correctly. Check with the manufacturer of the device for support or possible software driver or firmware updates that may be available for the device. Try a different cable with the device if possible (such as a different USB or FireWire cable).
Note: If you have multiple peripheral devices and the issue only occurs when they are all connected, but not when each device is the only peripheral connected, see the Additional Information section below.
If you are using a desktop Mac with a third-party keyboard and/or mouse device, and the issue still occurs, try starting up with an Apple keyboard and mouse connected instead. Try starting with no keyboard and mouse connected, then connect them after start up. Also, try a different USB port on your Mac.
If the gray screen issue persists with no devices connected, go to the next section (with the peripherals still disconnected).
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • White screen on startup after reboot

Performed a system update, installed a bunch of new software, was prompted for a restart, now all I have a is a white screen and unresponsive machine. Any ideas? iMac is a week old. Frustrating because I had same problem on another one that this one replaced!

Please update your profile about your Mac; model, RAM, etc. The more complete the easier for folks to assist. Do you have any 3rd party peripherals attached? USB? Firewire? Did any of the Software updates include the EFI firmware update? Did you read and follow the installation directions for this update properly? Will your Mac restart with the Install Disc?
Here are some troubleshooting steps for when you see a blank, gray screen
    1. Make sure the latest firmware for your computer is installed. Check Apple Downloads for the latest versions.
    2. Disconnect all peripheral devices, except for the Apple keyboard and mouse. This includes USB, FireWire, mini-DVI devices. If this resolves the issue, connect one device at a time, restarting after each one, until you've determined which device is causing the issue.
    3. Remove third-party hardware upgrades such as memory (RAM). If this resolves the issue, add back one item at a time, restarting after each one, to isolate the issue.
    4. Start up from your Mac OS X installation disc and check the hard disk with Disk Utility.
    5. Reset your computer's System Management Controller.
    6. Additional tips may be available in Isolating issues in Mac OS X.

  • White screen - no startup after software updates 2007-007

I cannot start my mac g4 following a software upgrade I did last night. There were a series of upgrades. I just get a white screen and it will not boot. In the meantime, I cleared a partition on a second drive on the same machine and installed 10.4 on this and have used it to start up and look at the other drive. I have been backing up files onto one of my external drives but running out of disk space. I am really concerned since all my apps are on the original volume and I don't believe I can just transfer them. Problem is my partition on the drive I set up is also small (about 10gb) so thats not much room for anything more than the os plus a bit. Should I attempt to fix the original volume, should I try an archive and install, some advice really appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi there. Thanks for your advice. It is not practical to back up everything and I have backups of the files that are important but no one really wants to loose anything when you are confronted with making choices like this.
That said, I think some responsibility falls on Apple's shoulders to ensure that the older machines will update properly since it appears there are many g4's still in service. I have located another post similar to mine today that indicates this is not isolated to me - which leads me to believe it may just be a bad update.
Obviously there was some adverse effect from the new software since the system was good until the reboot with the updates. While I shouldn't expect this to occur, I get you're point about being prepared in the event it does. From my perspective, this experience is something that you'd expect from $MS. I have never had this type of experience after using a Mac now for almost 10 years. Worst case was a failing second drive (Maxtor) that I installed - but was able to recover the data using the Carbon Copy app.
In any case, I appreciate any replies and am hopeful I'll have recovered by the end of the day . Many thanks.

  • Stuck on white screen during reboot after installing Snow Leopard

I had no problem with installation, but am stuck on the white screen during automatic reboot. I manually ejected the disc hoping that would help. I am not sure how to get past this white screen of death. I tried to reset the PRAM but nothing I do will get me past the white screen.

I am having this problem right now. It just goes to white screen during the installation right after rebooting. Just before rebooting it tells me to be 'ready' with the second disc, but then reboots and goes to white screen with apple logo and spinning gears....am I supposed to be putting the second disc in at this stage? Shouldn't it be prompting me to do something? Did either of you figure a way around this? Any help much appreciated.
