White space issue in displaying page on Curve 8330

Hi All
I am using a lot of <div> tags on my jsp page to be displayed on Curve 8330 I am getting unnecessary white space after the last <div> tag . I have tried to set <div> and <body> tag style attributes like padding and margins to "0px" but with no luck.
Would really appreciate help on this.
thx

Hi,
File to Idoc and Idoc used is ORDERS05.
Is IDOC occurence on target side is unbounded or 0..1???
If multiple occurence means then u need to change the IDOC structure, just change the occurence to o.unbounded.
Whenvever i am opening the payload with notepad i am able to see the space as 70th character and whenever i am checking the XML the space has been truncated for same.
I understand from above that the payload is correct with 70th character is space , but when u see the XML Payload in moni, the size is less or the white spaces are trimmed out.
So u neeed to add extra attribute on sender FCC
node.fieldContentFormatting  nothing
by default it is trim u need to change as nothing..
Let us know the result

  • Printing PDF from IE with Adobe Reader - extra white space at top of page

    I searched the forums far and wide but did not find this question or information to answer it.  If it's out there, I'd be much obliged if you'd point me in the right direction.
    A user of the web app for which I do tech support just called to say that starting today, whenever he opened a PDF from our app (in IE), the PDF looks fine on screen but when he prints the PDF, every page has extra blank/white space inserted at the top, which cuts off the bottom inch or two of each page.
    No other users have called with this complaint, and if changes to our app or an automatic background Adobe Reader or IE update caused this problem, I would have heard from many users.  I have a sneaking suspicion I have heard about this from other users, but since troubleshooting their IE or Adobe isn't exactly my job, I don't know if I did any more than advise them to talk to their tech support people.
    I can't recreate his problem (read: it works fine for me), but I'd like to help him.  Can anyone think of a reason why this might be happening?
    Thanks in advance.

    What I know:  He's using Adobe Reader X.  I do not know if it's the most recent version.  The problem only exists with PDFs from our web app; he's not having trouble with other sites or with other PDFs.
    I do not have a copy of the PDF; I can't give you the copy I downloaded when I logged into his account because there is proprietary confidential information on it, but everything worked fine for me and he's the only user with this complaint, so I believe it's related to his PC or printer, not to our app or to Adobe per se.
    I sent him email asking for more information, but I do not know what printer he's using.  I don't even know what version of Windows he's running.
    Based on some info from Adobe, I suggested he make sure he's using the most recent version (10.1.2), try 'print as image" to see if that's any more successful, and make sure his printer drivers are up to date.
    Given the nature of tech support, if he solves the problem or finds a workaround he's happy with, I may never hear from him again to know.  I just wanted to know if this was a known issue and what recommended resolutions for it might be.  Having not found anything on the web at large, I figured the Adobe forums would be a good place to ask.
    Thanks for the time you took to answer.

  • Extra White Space issue

    Hi, I am currently building a website in Adobe Muse, and am really enjoying it.  I have encountered a few differences between what I designed and what the site actually looks like and have been able to find solutions to all but one.  The home page has just a header and footer and an Adobe Edge Animation.  However, there is extra white space apearing underneath the animation (above the footer). Everything looks fine in the design mode, but even in preview there is extra space.  I tried uploading it to our ftp, thinking that might be the issue (as the animation doesn't show in the preview mode), but the extra space is still there.  I tried moving the Social media icons, thinking they might be causing it.  I have looked to see if maybe there is a text box, or empty shape that is causing the discrepency, but I can't find anything.  Any suggestions?
    Here is the screen capture of the design mode:
    Here is the screen capture of it in the browser:
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Razorcs,
    I have checked your file and the white space is coming from the page that you are calling in the iframe. I have seen that most browsers do not respond well, when the widht and the height of the iframe is specified in percent.
    As a fix you have to give manual width and height to the iframe and that should take care of it.
    For example, try something like 412px, which is the height of the edge content,

  • White space issues between content and footer.

    I am having white space/page length issue between the end of my content and the footer.
    I have read the forums and tried changing the page length minium height to 800 and then I
    unchecked the sticky footer in page properties on both the master page and the content page itself.
    Here's a link to one of my pages.  http://www.ueonline.com/rohs-info.html
    This page has very little content and you can see the white space.
    Any help is appreciated.

    This may be a little dated for a reply, and I'm not 100% sure your issue is the same as mine, but I discovered that unchecking the sticky footer option in site properties solved the problem. I should note that the website I was building for a client was über simple, and while disabling that function solved the headache in my own project, it may incur unwanted results in others, depending on the complexity.

  • White space under table on page how to get rid of it

    I created a new page, inserted a table to fill the page and
    put in a background color. When I look at the page in Dreamweaver,
    there is no white space under the table at the bottom of the page.
    When I preview the page in a browser, the table ends about an inch
    from the bottom of the page and I have about an inch of white space
    under the table. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
    Thanks for any help you can give. I'm going crazy trying to
    get rid of it.

    Fix up the errors with your html firstly - then see where you
    are at with
    the page....
    The first thing to do would be to get rid of the table
    heights - it's
    invalid and won't render cross browser anyway. Error:

  • Castor beans white space issue...

    So I have this code that mmimmicks my java objects for some classes I have that was built based off of a schema using castor. This code exports some data from a database to a .xml file just beautifully, but importing it (Reading back in the straight up xml) is another story...
    imagine I have a xml file that contains some members that act as names for their java object brothers:
    <xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlSimpleName>AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE</xmlSimpleName>
    </xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    now imagine the xml file repeating a ton of such objects(after all it was exported from a database that was essentially an array of such objects). So we have:
    ...some other object names here...
    <xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlSimpleName>AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE</xmlSimpleName>
    </xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlSimpleName>AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE</xmlSimpleName>
    </xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlSimpleName>AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE</xmlSimpleName>
    </xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    <xmlSimpleName>AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE</xmlSimpleName>
    </xmlWasJavaObjectHere>
    ...some more objects here with different names.
    So now this exports just like this, just fine. The problem is when I read back in the data using the castor bean unmarshaller, it reads into the member as such:
    myXMLObj.getSimpleName(); returns
    AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE
    AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE
    AIRBORNE/STATIC LINE
    AIRBORNE/STATICLINE
    AIRBORNE/STATICLINE
    AIRBORNE/STATICLINE
    So it returns it right for the first few instanceus of it from the xml then it misses a white space(obviously this breaks importing this back into the database.) I am no xml/java/castor guru but I cannot figure out why it decides to loose white space (id say it does this randomly, but it starts doing it on the same index (item count whatever) every single time. And its the same name,does anyone have any ideas? Im pulling my hair out. Perhaps my naming scheme in the xsd was big depature from what it should of been. (Cause i had other issues working with XMLBeans and web services on naming some complexTypes (or was it elements?) with a upper case, when it should be lower case (and the name was getting mangaled).
    oh well thats all I have im totally out of ideasm, so perhaps people have seen this before and confirm its some wierd quirk of using castor beans to load in xml data back to our objects (and i Did double check, the white space is missing in the actual xml object hta tis populated with an unmarshall.), any help will be appreciated. Thanks,
    Shane

    Hm, well 2 possible ideas:
    1. There is a line of code in the middle of your tabbed panels that shouldn't be there.  It reads at follows
    <!-- BEGIN: Constant Contact Bubble Opt-in Email List Form --> <div align="center"></div>
    <!-- END: SafeSubscribe -->
    2. In this code, do you need the clear:both?
    <div style="clear:both; font-size: 18px; color: #0055A6; font-weight: bold;">

  • White spaces issue when applet is launched from Browser

    I am trying to open HTML file (generated by net beans) to launch applet using window.open function.
    The applet is launching fine but white spaces are coming on top and left side of the applet.
    Any idea on how to remove these white spaces?

    You need a custom html template and to set the application size parameters to 100% width and height.
    Not sure if this is possible using the NetBeans JavaFX project configuration options currently.
    Have a look at the Ensemble sample and Ensemble sample code, it implements a custom html template and 100% size parameters.

    A css reset will remove default padding from an html page.

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://yui.yahooapis.com/3.6.0/build/cssreset/cssreset-min.css">
    The minimal reset required to remove margins around the edge of the page is:
    html, body {
        margin: 0;
        overflow: hidden;
        padding: 0;
    }Documentation is on web based deployment templates and application size is:
    http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/deployment/deployment_toolkit.htm#BABJHEJA
    Note it doesn't talk about percentage sizes as this may be an undocumented feature, but I think if you set the width and height in the dtjava.App call to '100%', the app will fill the available area of a window.

  • Weird Spaces issue with display...

    I've been using Leopard since the day after release, and have had only minor issues on 2 machines. This one is funny... Every now and then on my Macbook Pro CD, the mini desktops in Spaces show up with a smaller desktop attached to the main one. It's as if Spaces thinks I have two displays for each desktop. I have never had this computer connected to an external display...
    This behavior occurs most frequently after I import video from my Canon camcorder. If I use the "detect displays" button in system preferences, the mini-view returns to normal.
    This "bug" is pretty minor, and I enjoy using Leopard... Of course, I enjoyed Tiger, too.
    Steve

    Jameel, Thanks for the answer but this is a not a solution for us. We have around 40-50 webdynpro components and with mutliple views referring to this data element / domain combination. More so the context are bound to database tables / structures .
    I hope to get a reply from Thomas on possible solution for this. I am not sure if I can open an support ticket for this issue.

  • Smartforms - issue in display page

    Hai ,
    I have to dispaly the smartform in the below mentioned way.
    it has to display mara records(no of records changes dependending on customer)  & the last page with
    terms & conditions.
    in the ablove scenario, depending on the no. of records in the Mara the pages may increase.
    for example : if mara records takes 2 pages..then the total SF contains 3 pages(including the terms & condition page).if the mara records spread across 3 pages for x customer the total pages in SF would become 4.
    Till here it is fine.
    Now I have another problem.
    for a particular customer say ABC,
    I need to display another information in separte page(say extrapage) after mara records & before terms & condition.this extra page may also spread across more than on page.
    This extra page is of type 'mara records page'(only the contents get changes for this  ABC customer).
    Now the problem is this extra page has to start from fresh page.
    But in my case it is been displayed from the end of the 'mara records page'.that is if mara records page takes 2 & half page the extra page contents stat printing from very next point.I want this to start form third page.once these contents are displayed it has to display the terms & conditions as usual.
    can any one have any idea abot this?
    sorry , I could n't find any better way to explain my problem:).it is bit lengthy.
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar.

    Hi:
    In the same page of the smartform, you should create 2 main windows.
    The first main window would execute for everyone and whenever the particular conditions would come like ABC customer, the next would execute for this, you have to put the condition within condition tab of 2nd window.
    Hopefully i have cleared my points and it would helpful to solve your problem.

  • Unwanted white space

    I am having a white space issue.  It is on the About Us page -
    http://www.radfabs.com/about.html I have the About Us content and pictures all in one div.
    As the site is white to narrow the area of problem I changed the background of the div yellow and tested it and that is definitely where the problem is but for the life of me I can't see it:
    #hometx {
    position:absolute;
    left:0px;
    top:195px;
    width:850px;
    height:1692px;
    z-index:6;
    padding-left: 20px;
    font-family: Tahoma, "Times New Roman", sans-serif;
    padding-top: 20px;
    border-top-style: none;
    border-right-style: none;
    border-bottom-style: none;
    border-left-style: none;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;}
    I did some on line research and found that others have had this issue and when they added in img {display: block} it fixed the problem - that did not work for me.  I would greatly appreciate any advice as this is making me a little crazy!
    Thanks!

    Thank you so much!! I have a few questions:
    What does this command do?
    html {
    overflow-y:scroll;}  Is this so a scroll bar appears if it is shrunk?
    I see you added font size 100.01% to the body - is that better to use than 1em?  Also I see because it is in the body I don't need it anywhere else. Ditto with the fontface.
    I see you put the boys pictures in their own div "bottom" and am curious why?  Does this clean up another flaw?
    On the bottom I see you added an th#facebook and put the color in that way.   I am a little confused about when to use a class and a id - I thought it would be better as a class so I could use it in additional spots, if I wanted to.  Is this wrong?
    I see you took out the left & top and definitions that I had in - I am guessing this was part of my drawing div's mess?  And I see you took at the z-index - are these not needed?
    You really are wonderful! Thank you again for taking the time and effort to help me with this!!!  I really appreciate seeing the clean code so I know where I need to do some fixes!!  I have a lot to learn!!

  • Saved PDF files have white spaces

    When I save a Aperture created photobook as a pdf file the file has a white spaces on either side of each page. This white space shows up in Aperture as black when I create the book and is how I wish to see it. Is there a way to fix this in Aperture? Or can it be done outside of Aperture if needed? I have never edited a pdf file so I am unsure how to proceed there if that is my only option.
    The reason I ask this is because I am looking to get a large quantity printed from a printing service that will provide a more attractive printing price when large quantities are ordered. Would a printing service be able to fill in the white with the black that I see in Aperture. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Elliot

    This could be as simple as selecting a borderless setting for the page size in the print book dialog prior to using the PDF drop down to save the book. It is hard to tell from your description. The printer and page size options for the real printer do affect the generated PDF file and white space issues are usually due to not having a borderless page size selected.

  • White Space Management

    Digging through the web trying to solve some white space
    issues, i stumbled upon the CF Administrator setting in CFMX7
    called White Space Management (under Server Settings). Enabling
    this reduces the size of pages that are parsed (obviously), but are
    there any consequences of enabling it? If there are not any
    consequences, then why is it not enabled by default in CFAdmin?

    i'm not sure the CF comment solution will work as
    intended...from what i've read, the manual way to do it is to
    either use the <cfsilent> tag (which suppresses all output to
    the buffer) or use <cfsetting enablecfoutputonly="true"> to
    only output to the buffer between cfoutput tags.
    I'm thinking that the whtie space management option is a
    solution to having to use these tags.
    My question really is, is there a performance hit for using
    it? how much? and does using it effect anything? (i've heard other
    comments on how it sometimes interferes with using the cfmail
    tag...which i'm not too worried about since we changed our mailer
    to use something other than cfmail)

  • Get-Recipient or Get-Mailbox and "white spaces" after import user to TXT files.

    Hi Guys,
    In this week I had small task to move mailboxes from old SBS to new Exchange user. I have done this task with small problems. I decided of course to use Powershell to make my life simple.
    Step 1.
    Get-Recipient | Select-Object name, Database | where database -Match "Mailbox Database" |  FT - Property name | Out-File -FilePath c:\ex_users.txt
    or
    Get-Mailbox  | select name, servername | where ServerName -match Server1 | select Name | Out-File -FilePath c:\ex_users.txt -Encoding UTF8
    Unfortunately I had to spent some time to clean output files. After export files I noticed that something is wrong with text format.
    How can I avoid "white spaces" ?

    We always want to do our filtering as close to the left of a command as possible. Keeping this in mind, the first thing I looked for was to see if Get-Recipient had a filter parameter and it does.
    Get-Recipient -Filter {Database -eq 'CN=Mailbox Database,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=Organization,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=mydomin,DC=com'} | Select-Object -ExpandProperty Name | Out-File -FilePath 'C:\outfile-filter.txt'
    This seemed somewhat cumbersome because it required a lengthy DistinguishedName (DN). By the way, to get the DN of a database, use a modified version of this code.
    Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity databasename | Select-Object DistinguishedName
    I decided we would try filtering with the Where-Object cmdlet much like you did in your example. Noticed that I bumped it to the left so our filter ran prior to our select - something you should always do.
    Get-Recipient | Where-Object {$_.Database -match 'Mailbox Database'} | Select-Object -ExpandProperty Name | Out-File -FilePath 'C:\outfile-where.txt'
    Whichever way you do this, either the first or third code sample should help you write your data to a text file without the white space issue. I haven't looked at your second example but I suspect you could use some of this post to figure that one out yourself.

    Greetings all - I've been having an issue related to my BB Curve 8330. When I roll the trackball, it works fine when it's moving left to right, right to left and moving up. But, it will not scroll down. I've removed the battery to try and reset it, have also used "dust off" to try and blow out any dirt that may have lodged in the ball. All to no avail...It feels like it's "sticking" when I scroll down. Any thoughts as to what may be wrong and how to resolve the issue? In advance, thanks!
