White square when using Falsh 7.0.14.0

I use an old program about d-day and the last months of the second world war. There are maps, newspaper reports, photos and also videos on.
On the DVD disc is Flash player version 7 included. On my PC is, of course, the latest version of Flash Player. What happens now?
As soon as the program starts up I have access to all the parts. Only when I want to start a video then it will open the Flash Player but is covered by a large white surface. Only along the extreme edges you can see that there is a video below is and which also plays just under the white square. How can I get that white area get it out? Who can help me?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

After lots of research, I found the problem. The boxes (squares) show up whenever there is a font in the webpage that does not have Arabic within its Unicode range such as Times New Roman Italic or Oblique. Normally, Firefox will pick another font to display the characters but now, a newly introduced feature is interfering.
To fix the problem without turning off hardware acceleration.
Go to about:config
locate: gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.use_gdi_table_loading
which is True by default in FF4.0 Beta 10, and change it to False.
This is a bug that has to be fixed.

Photomerge produces white lines when using RAW (PEF) but not TIFF

I just started using PS CC (Mac, v14.1.2) and tried out Photomerge with a set of 40 (4 rows, 10 cols) raw images (Pentax PEF format), resulting in a 0.3 gigapixel image.
When I have them stitched by Photomerge, I see fine white lines at the merge points.
I had enabled all 3 options (blend images together, vignette removal, geometric distortion correction), using cylindrical layout.
When I first convert the PEFs to TIFFs and use Photomerge with the same options, there are no such white lines.
An example of the bad output:
These unwanted lines are, of course, at the edges where the images are getting joined.
Also, when using only a few images (2x2 or 3x3, or even 4x5), I do not get this effect.
I noticed that when using less images, the blend masks' edges are not straight - but they are when I see this issue. This suggests that at some point the merge operation gets overwhelmed and switches to a simpler algorithm, which in turn has this "bug" with RAW images, apparently.
Is this a known issue, and is there a way to get this working right with this many RAW/PEF images?

Frozen white screen when using red eye reduction

Hi, can anyone help when using red eye button on hp mediasmart photo my photo turns white and I loose my cursor, the only thing I can do is control, alt and delete to log me off. I have a S5206 desktop with factory settings (which I haven't touched because I don't really know my way about), this red eye button used to work but has suddenly stopped for whatever reason, hope someone can help, thanks

I found a way out of it.
Turned off photo-stream from the icloud settings and that broke the spell.

White Noise when using ProTools

I have a PwrMac G5/2 CPU/ 2 gig Pwr PC.
I use ProTools LE 7.1.1 with an Mbox-1
When I load ProTools, I get a high pitched noise coming from the Mac, and it gets picked up in my recordings. This noise only starts when I load the ProTools App. If I close the app, the noise stops. It sounds like it's coming from the left side of the Mac, just above the power button on the front.
There has been a lot of discussion about this on the Digidesign forums, but no real explination or fix. I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has run across this and what the results were.

The noise I can hear in my speakers and headphones. I did some further experimenting last night and bounced a couple of recorded sessions in ProTools to disk. When I listen to the bounced versions, I don't hear the noise, so I surmize that the noise isn't getting into the recorded tracks. This is the first time I've bounced tracks, so up until now I've only been listening to playback from ProTools.
I also noticed that when I have my headphones plugged into the Mbox, and close ProTools, the white noise changes to a pulsed beeping sound, almost like a stopwatch. This is also a symptomatic sound reported on the Digidesign forums.

Remove white background when using Frames

I am trying to use a simple black frame around an image. Unfortunately a white frame is created also, from the "background." How do I remove this large white surrounding frame? Is there a way to create a framed image with no background? Why is a background considered to be necessary behind a framed image? If I try to copy only the image and its frame, so that I can paste only them into a new document, "copy" is greyed out in the menu. Why can one not copy an image that has a Photoshop frame on it? I can copy and past images with no frames.

How are you applying the frame to your image?
Simply open your image through File->Open.
When your image has been opened, go to content pane and double click the frame that you want to apply.
The frame would be applied and there wont be any white background.
You can also adjust the image inside the frame. Just double click the image inside the frame and you you would get the option to drag the image to adjust or to zoom in or zoom out.
Please describe if you are using any other workflow.

Newbie Problem, White edges when using colors?

Hi, I am new to illustrator, and this problem has been bothering me forever. I have googled beyond belief, but no answer. Maybe I am using the wrong terminology? Not sure. But overall, when I create things in illustrator, and use color, there are white edges around everything. Example below.
Also the colors I choose don't seem to be the ones that show up. Like, for the example above, I chose a deeper purple, but a lighter purple came out. I guess illustrator is A LOT different than photoshop.

well, i recently had something like that too.
I just couldnt figure out why it was showing up.
Untill i began looking at the layers.
It seemed that somehow some layers got duplicated and stuff.
So i recommend that you have a look at your layers and check for unwanted duplicates.

Completely White screen when using green screen

I have successfully used the Green Screen feature in the past but I am having some problems with it now. When I drop a Green Screen clip onto a back ground the play back shows no image and the screen is completely white. What is happening and how do I correct it?

How to remove unnecessary blank(white) page when using FileDownload UI

My env is like the following.

i tried the file upload/download sample.
Uploading and Downloading Files in SAP NetWeaver 7.0

Of course, it works well in normal situation but FileDownload shows
unnecessary behavior like the following.
- How to produce : Download file with allowSave behavior option
- Phenomena : File Download pop-up window is displayed but the
    unnecessary blank(white) page also displayed and this page
    persists even when the download is finished.
And is there any way to remove this unnecessary page behind the
pop-up window?

    It is not possible to close the blank window that appears while downloading programmatically from within your Web Dynpro application. The user must manually close it.

White lines when using facetime

Hi, ive been using facetime lately.. And then i have noticed that there is a white lines in my screen everytime i use facetime.. but it only shows up on facetime screen.. please help ohh and i tried to hard restart my phone, but it was still the same.. im using iphone 4s.

Photo Booth taking white photos when used with Manycam

I'm trying to use photobooth to take photos with the program manycam but every time I take a Photo it show up white and and some of it but barely any of the photo lightish blue like its devoloping into the full picture but it just stays like that. Taking video works fine, its just taking pictures.

Turns out to be an iPhone 4 problem. I went to a store and they replaced it. No problems now. My wife's iPhone 4 also had to be replaced which is disturbing. We had the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS without issue. This iPhone is not that good. It was emphasized to me the other day when I used a Razor in my house and found the voice quality infinitely superior and worked in places where my iPhone 4 failed completely (all on AT&T).
People on the other end of calls with the Razor commented that my voice sounded much better and asked what had I done (they were used to the calls made with the iPhone).
I am afraid I think that the iPhone 4 is not all it is cracked up to be. For phone use the Razor beats it hands down. Now, when it comes to email etc. the iPhone is infinitely superior but as a phone it is certainly not as good as it could be.
I am afraid that Apple may have lost the magic recipe and, if I had not gone past the return date, the iPhone 4 would be going back.

Thumbnails missing on iPhone4 "Photos" app (blank white squares)

After upgrading to the iphone4, I restored from my most recent 3G back up, but most (not all) of the thumbnails in the photo library of the Photos app are just blank white squares
When you click on the white square a picture shows up, but this makes browsing almost impossible.
I tried restoring, and unselecting and reselecting in itunes and cannot get a majority of the thumbnails to show. the photos that do not show are random.

If this was happing on your 3G and you upgraded your phone by restoring it from the backup of your 3G, it is also possible that your new phone may have inherited this problem from your old one (i.e., the problem may have been contained in the backup you restored from). I'm not sure what else to suggest you try on your computer and I'm not sure that's the problem. It may very well be something corrupt on your phone. The basic troubleshooting steps (in escalating order) are Reset, Restore, Restore as New. To reset your phone hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignoring the off slider that appears first), and release. To restore your phone follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414, backing up your phone at step 6, and restoring from that backup at the end of the process, followed by syncing with iTunes. If that fails you will have to save as much of your data as possible, and restore it as new by following this process again but at the end choosing to set it up as a new iPhone. If the problem persists after restoring as new you probably have a hardware problem and will have to have Apple take a look at it.

Bookmarks only showing white square!

most bookmark folders are only showing white square when mouse hovers over, instead of opening the list of links contained in it?
