Hi There ..I have in the past purchased CS3, then CS4, and then CS 5 all for my HP Tower with Windows XP .. with Microsoft going to stop support on XP .
.I have had the techies assemble a new machine 64 bit HP Tower with Windows 7 ... and these resellers I purchased what I thought was my CS6 Creative Suite Design & Web Premium
..but they sent me an Adobe Volume License and down loads to 5 parts with an Adobe Enteprise Deployment guide & application manager .. like I am an IT guy with lots of computers to load and determine which of the programs should be made in to install packages
I am one little machine ... who shall i talk to .. I have order numbers, p.o. reseller ... etc ..
I really do not want to read 183 pages and use the application manager if I do not have to .

Adobe Volume Licensing .. great assistant from New Dehli .. once they verified I had an account and had purchased the CS6 .. remotely they downloaded CS6 to my new HP Tower with Windows 7 ... To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

I can't open the software download for UniversalBrowser from Canon

Can't find the correct driver for my printer.

Hey,
I just recently moved, and was trying to set up my computer to be connected to my printer/scanner again. It has been many months since i last used this desktop computer, and when i tried to connect my printer, i couldn't find the right driver. So i had to use some other hp driver, and so my printer will print, but not scan. Any suggestions?

its a Hp officejet 6500 wireless printer
i tried getting a software update, and it didn't give me any more drivers than what i already saw before.
i don't have a disc that would load the right driver, but i didn't use it in the first place. The "auto select driver" thing picked it up fine last time i used this printer and computer together.

HP has scanner software for their multi-function printers. If your printer precedes Leopard then there should be compatible drivers at HP. OS X does not come with scanner drivers for any scanner until you upgrade to Snow Leopard. You won't find any driver updates via Software Update unless Apple releases an HP driver package update and SU detects that you have a compatible HP printer already installed.

I will uninstall the previous flas player 11.2.202.228 and do a clean fresh install.

Your waisting your time, still does the same as 228, not fixed anything on video viewing side of things, i still get pauses after each frame on some sights right to the end, but before 11.2 i was fine, still get green screens, popping sound, degrading picture when i move the slider at the bottom, still picture but sound still carries on, ive tried 11.2 on all nvidia drivers, its the same. Ive had to cancel subscriptions becazuse the player doesnt work with there sights, i just get a smooth running picture untill the next frame then it stops and starts after each damn frame, so annoying, if it was my OS then the previous player to 11.2 wouldnt work either, the beta was exactly the same.

The correct syntax for a recursive chmod command in Terminal

I need to set recursive permissions on an external HDD to '777' or 'all read&write'.
I have tried all of the following commands in Terminal:
sudo chmod 777 -r /Volumes/...
sudo chmod -r 777 /Volumes/...
sudo chmod a+rw -r /Volumes/...
sudo chmod -r a+rw /Volumes/...
...all of which being back a 'no such file or directory' error, e.g.
sudo chmod 777 -r /Volumes/232Gb
chmod: -r: No such file or directory
Can anyone confirm the correct syntax for this command?

If there were a solution that didn't involve using Terminal, I would prefer that.
The reason I ask is, since my old iMac died and I connected my iMac's external HDD to my MacBook, thousands of folders on my external HDD have 'stop signs' on them and require me to go to
Get Info -> Sharing & Permissions
...and add my MacBook username and set the privilege as "read and write". A bigger problem is, no backup software I've tried will back up this external HDD onto another external HDD any more, so I no longer have an up-to-date backup, which is very worrying.
I am looking for a way of fixing this, and the chmod command appears to be the answer.
Ideally, I don't want any permission restrictions on my external HDD at all, so I can connect it to any machine without problems.

If you didn't have the opportunity to deactivate the installations then you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations for all the serial numbers involved.
