Alternative is to use direct SE16 as well...
So there are many solutions to one problem... it all depends on user/customer/client's requirement...

Hi Homerguy,
If you are using Mac, please open the finder window click on go and choose applications and try to launch Photoshop from there.
If windows, please navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 and double click on the Photoshop.exe file.

I have installed Windows 7 Home 32 on a Toshiba Satellite A210 (no upgrade - new installation) and I have later installed all Toshiba drivers from their website. I want to know which programs and services are installed from this three programs:
- Hardware Setup
- Utilities
- Value Added Package
I have installed all three programs but I can only find this programs:
- TOSHIBA Flash Cards
- TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic
In the settings of "Flash Cards" I can only disable the hotkey function which is not disabled.
But the keys F1 to F12 still don't work and I don't find the Toshiba hardware settings in the control panel.
So I want to check all programs and services from this three programs on the notebook.

This is a little bit complicated.
I presume you can remember how it works under Vista and I hope you can remember that on your desktop there was placed shortcut for Toshiba Assist. When you open Toshiba Assist you can find Hardware setup and all other Toshiba tools and utilities.
So you can install Assist designed for your notebook model and for Vista. I have installed it too.
Value Added Package contains several tools and utilities:
- Toshiba Components Common Driver
- Toshiba Utilities
- Toshiba PC Diagnostic Tool
- Toshiba Power Saver
- Toshiba Button Support
- Toshiba Zooming Utility
- Toshiba Flash cards
Install Assist and you will have access to all important tools and utilities.

You will need a Mac, with OS X 10.6+ on it, to be able to develop iOS apps.

What turns the trial into the live software is signing in. If you sign in with the Adobe ID that has the subscription, the trial becomes live. First check your account on Adobe.com to make sure that the subscription is live.

Business process check-in/check-out - who has checked out and when?

We have been using the business process check-in/check-out functionality for 18 months and there are an increasing number of process's that have been checked out to the maintenance project and never checked in again. Is there a straight forward way in the system to see who had checked out a business process and when? When using the SOLMAN_DIRECTORY transaction it is easy to see which process's are checked out as they are marked the red OUT symbol and have check-out status = checked out - but no other information about the check-out seems to be available either in this transaction or on a separate report.

What Peter neglected to tell you is once you enable history on the Solution a history log will begin to populate.
It will show as the standard "Log" icon for HISTORY. Every change will be logged at each level of the structure.
Here is an example of a History log line....while it is not a check-in.out change it will give you an idea

What you can do is filter the report on the values that will give you the check-in/check out against the objects you want to track.
This is how you can use the "Enable History" to get the information you are interested it.
Just two things to be aware of : 1) The history will not be retro active (unless it was already enabled), so it will start from the day you enable logging (history), and logs take up space, which at some point maintenance will likely be required, however I don't see these logs having high disk usuage.
If it were documents that you wanted a report on check-in/check-out for, you likely could use the transaction Solar_Eval under Documents, but there are no standard reports for this...and filtering the History log file accordingly is about the best reporting
that would give a result. This log file can be printed, or you could capture the printoutput to a file and there is your Electronic version of the report.

In converting from Win XP PC w/Ffx 28.0 to a new Win 8 PC, is Ffx 28.0 the v. to retain? If not, then which v. and when/where to install during conversion?

I will be converting from my 9-yr-old PC with Win. XP to a new PC with Win. 8. My Control Panel program list tells me my old PC is running Firefox 28.0 (x86 en-US). I need to be sure that Firefox 28.0 is your latest version and is the one I should move over to my new PC (there seem to be so many versions out there that it is confusing...in one place you say version 17 is the one to use). If I do need to install another Firefox version, I would need to know which one, and whether it should be installed on the old computer first, before changing PCs, or somewhere else in the in the conversion sequence, i.e., on the new PC first before (or after?) transferring everything else from the old PC. I plan to transfer to the new PC using free LapLink software offered to us current XP users through a Microsoft/LapLink agreement.

Yes, Firefox 28 is the current release for Windows XP and higher.
I'm not exactly sure how Laplink works, but assuming it transfers all of your Windows user profile data, then it should bring your Firefox data over to your new computer. You can confirm by checking here on both computers and comparing what you see:
(paste into Start > Run or WinButton+r): %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\
In particular, make sure Laplink copied over the profiles.ini file and the Profiles folder and its subfolders.
I suggest copying the data over first, then installing Firefox. In that case, when you install Firefox it should automatically find your data and you'll be up and running. If you install Firefox first, then you will have to take a few extra steps to get your old data in.

Oracle does keep track of updates/inserts/deletes - that is the cornerstone of any RDBMS as it is required for concurrency controls, dealing with locks and transactions.
This data is stored in the undo/redo area of Oracle. In archive log mode, this data is automatically archived before it is deleted when it is no longer needed.
There is thus an accurate record of transactions in Oracle. Oracle provides a standard product called Log Miner that allows you to reconstruct what has happened.
However, as far as identifying the user, that is not possible. Oracle does not know or care who the user is - or who/what/where the client application is. It does not authenticate the end-user or client application. All that the end-user/client application need to supply is a valid Oracle schema name and password (default Oracle authentication). And that is what Oracle records for the transaction - the Oracle owner of the Oracle session for that transaction. Not the end-user, not the client application or even client IP address.
That data is related to auditing and not to the actual transaction. In which case you need to look at the Oracle AUDIT command for recording those details.

How to find which programs (and other objects) use the field LGORT

Hi, Im an Abap freshman, and I have been asked to search all programs and objects that use the field LGORT (Storage Location), regardless of what table it is in.
Is it possible to do it using the "Where-Used List"?
This will be important since a new Storage Location will be created for MM, and we have to assure that no other programs that reference to it will be affected.

Go to transaction SE11, choose radiobutton Data Element then enter the name LGORT. Now using the where-used-list in the toolbar, choose programs checkbox in the subsequent dialog and press enter. It should show all programs using the field LGORT irrespective of table name.

Why does my BB select which programs and consoles ...

A few times a week it would appear that my BB activley selects what programs and consoles it allows to connect to the internet. Tonight for example, I had 2 PC's (one was playing Warcraft) and 1 xbox connected to my hub and all 3 were working fine. then just before midnight Warcraft was disconnected from the server and I was kicked off the 360 game server, but both PC's were still allowed to connect to the internet and my 360 was still able to connect to live. this happens a couple times a week and I'm not happy about it at all, as it's usually like this until the following day

I think it unlikely your BB is deciding which to disconnect but in order to help/assist please can you post the adsl stats from your router may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or use a-z, if netgear enter 192.168.0.1) and run btspeedtester (MAC users may have problems) http://speedtester.bt.com and post the results .
are you connected directly to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Do you have any phone extension sockets in your home?
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone
Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem

I start running a java program and when i switch users the sound doesnt work

When I start running a java program or leave a game running and i switch users the sound doesnt work. I have been searching around the web and nobody seems to have an answer. This just recently started to happen. Please if anyone has any ideas that would be much appreciated and the problem is my computer its almost brand new. And my computer is completely up to date.
