It's probably not the conversion from CMYK to RGB that's causing the problem, but color profile (ICC) embedding in Photoshop. Fireworks doesn't read color profiles. You might be able to create an action to remove the color profile in Photoshop and then batch process the images with it.

First you need to determine whether Adobe has released support for your new camera in Photoshop CS4. To do that look at these two pages. You'll want to find out the earliest version of Camera Raw that can support your camera, then what version of Photoshop can run that version of Camera Raw.

In your case, your 5D Mark III was first supported by Camera Raw version 6.7. And we see that Camera Raw 6.7 was supported by Photoshop CS5, not Photoshop CS4 - so you cannot get direct raw support for your version of Photoshop.
However, you CAN download and install the latest version of the free Adobe DNG Converter, which can take your raw files as input and put out DNG format files, which your version of Photoshop can open.

The DNG converter DOES work, but if you want maximal quality from your raw files (not to mention the convenience and ease of use of directly opening your CR2 files) I recommend upgrading to Photoshop CS6 or newer. Adobe made substantial improvements in raw conversion quality in recent years.
Adobe has a nice "Photographer's Bundle" subscription offer going right now.

Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If restoring using a backup doesn't help, try restoring the iPhone to factory settings and try for a while with just the Apple-included apps, to make sure it's not an issue with a third-party app. If it still has problems, it may have a hardware problem and will need to be sent to Apple.

However this time it has been plugged in for an hour or more and nothing. There was still at least 70% charge left on it when it went dead. I have pressed the sleep and start button separately and together. It said that I did not have much space left this morning so I deleted Apps and photos but there was still space. Just two days ago it was losing power even though it still 55% charge left so I plugged it in and it seemed to gain power. Any suggestions on the problem?

Sounds like faulty battery. Make Genius reservation and take to Apple for quick (minutes) free battery diagnostic testing. If you have Warranty or AppleCare the problem will be covered.

Compressor is not a finder "open with" recommended application for qt's

On my macbookpro If I select a quicktime file in the finder and go to the file:open with:recommended applications, compressor is not a choice. I can easily choose it as a nonrecommended application, but it's a bit of a pain. The same is true for a quicktime export from fcp (the first quicktime export option, not quicktime conversion) which has a fcp icon not a qt icon. On my G5 tower, qt files do have compressor as an option for open with, but fcp exports, do not.
Obviously I could change the "open with" option in the file info for either an individual file or all files of this type, but I just want compressor available in the "open with" list for either file type.
This ain't a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance.

What version of FCS/FCP, Michael?
If you're using FCP 5.x, the issue with QuickTime Movie exports from FCP is because those movies do not have an .mov extension. You can't drag them to the Compressor icon on the dock and force Compressor to open, for instance, like you can for anything else that actually has a .mov extension.
As far as opening QT movies with Compressor, mind explaining why you're doing this? That is, you're opening them in Compressor for previewing purposes, correct?

If we would like to findout opening and closing stock of material A as of 18 / 8 / 2008,
then do like this.
go to MBEW table .. there u get opening stock as on today. Today the date is 20/8/2008. from today's opening stock if we add / subtract the movements which have happened on 19/8/2008 and 18/8/2008 u'll get opening and closing stock as on 18/8/2008.
U get the movements from MKPF ( material doc header) and MSEG (material doc item ) based on posting date. In MSEG u get movement type.
If the movement type is 101, it means the stock is added.
If the movement type is 102, it means the added stock is reversed.
from today's opening stock deduct the stock with moverment type 101 and add the stock with movement type 102.
This will give u opening stock as on 18/8/2008.
To get closing stock of 18/8/2008 ..... the opening stock of 19/8/2008 is 18/8/2008's closing stock.

VM and java plug-in for Mozilla 1.2.1 and RH9

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to install Java RE and VM. I have followed all of the instructions to the letter. I currently have J2RE 1.4.2_03 and J2SDK 1.4.2_03 installed into /usr/java/ and /usr/local. I did the basic sh ./j2re-1.4.2_03(insert whatever here).bin and everything went smoothly. Is there any configuration I have to do after this to get Mozilla/RH9 to recognize the instalation. I've enabled Mozilla to use Java, but apparently it can't find the plug-in. Am I supposed to edit the .bash_profile? Any and all help appreciated greatly.

I'm sorry, what do you mena by in "your" path? I've heard this several times and I'm not sure what exacly it means. I understand paths like /usr/lib/mozilla-1.2.2 and all that, but when the your is thrown in, it gains a new meaning. O.K. slight epiphinay, when your say your path, do you mean where bash knows that the line java is a command to open java.
