Who has these kind of problems of xperia Z2?

there are some problems in my phone
There have been 5 batches of Sony Xperia Z2s from the original release until now. Some of these batches have different problems and issues. Follow the guide below to find out what batch your Xperia Z2 is and whether it has any problems.
To find the batch number, remove the SIM card slot. In the slot is written various information about the device like the IMEI number, serial codes and the manufacturing date. You need to see the manufacturing date. The present batches are 14w15, 14w16, 14w17, 14w18 and 14w19.
he first one, 14w15 has a small gap on the top (the part where the screen and bezels meet), dead pixel and also the camera lens is off centered.
The second one, 14w16, has a problem with the double tap to wake feature, overheating issues when using the camera, gaps on the top and off centered camera lens.
The third one, 14w17 suffers from overheating when using the camera, 1 mm gaps on the top and the bottom, off centered front facing and rear camera.
The fourth one, 14w18, has a big gap on the bottom, dust under the screen and camera lens, dead pixels, overheating issues when using applications and the charging port doesn’t close properly.
The fifth one, 14w19 is the batch with less problems. It has a tiny gap on the bottom and again, the camera is off centered.
What batch do you Xperia Z2 owners have? Do you have any other problems that haven’t been mentioned above?

Mine is 14w15.
My Z2 got a gap on top right and big gap on the bottom left(1mm) which allows some dust to get in there.
Futhermore my camera protecting class (rear) seems to be odd since i've got already 1 big and another minor scratch on it though im always carrying my Z2 in a bag. No Idea where this came from... So frustrating.
It's my first xperia smartphone and unfortunately i'm already really disappointed after one month of usage...

I've got some problems with my iPhone, but I should say with the iOS 5. It's not just a matter of battery life, not only that.
I've got a problem with music. For example, iTunes says that it sync an album, but I can't find it on my music library on the iPhone. Just this? No! Because if I try to search that album with the function "search", the iPhone find it! But in the music list there isn't.
Again, still for the music: I've got a problem with the audio for some songs, because for some notes (the higher and lower ones) the sound has a strange distortion, almost like the Beatles' amplifiers in their concerts all over the world. It's not something that I should hear on my iPhone.
Furthermore, when I close the App Store aplication, the phone seems "slow", almost like it hadn't enough memory to do that, like when on your cpu something is going wrong and everything slows down.
The last thing is a sort of numbness for the home button: I tap it twice for the multitasking and the iPhone closes the running application. Or worse, nothing happens.
I don't know if I'm the only one which has this problem, but I don't know what to do.

For the "missing" songs, you probably have those tagged as "Part of a Compilation". If so, those songs will not show up under the Artist menu by the Artist entry in the tag, but they will be in the Artists menu according to the Album Artist entry in the tag (e.g. "Various Artists"). Note that this is a new feature of iOS 5, so you won't see this on earlier iOS versions. If these are not actually Compilations you can fix your tags accordingly, or if they really are part of a Compilation (i.e. multi-artist album) then your iPhone is doing what its supposed to do.
For the audio problems, it could be bad encoding of the native file -- how do these songs sound on your computer (with headphones on)? If the songs sound fine on your computer, you can try removing and re-loading the songs on your iPhone, or resetting or restoring your iPhone to see if that corrects the issue.
For your Home button issue, that sounds like a possible defect -- if it is under warranty maybe see if you can get an exchange.

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

To anyone who has had the trackpad problem and had it replaced...

So if anyone has had the trackpad problem where it doesn't click or erratically doesn't move the cursor, and HAS gone to the apple store and had it fixed, does your new one work properly now?
I have an appointment this evening to have it looked at (and probably replaced) but if this is a consistent problem with all models, its not going to fix it. I am wondering if I should wait until Apple catches on to this, and does something about it.
Anyone have any success stories?

My suggestion would be to KEEP your MacBook. There are several other discussions with the same issue.
It seems as though this issue is widespread.
Why copy data, wipe the old one clean, trade out for a new MacBook, transfer all the data BACK .... only to find your issue unresolved?
It's not worth the hassle. My guess? Apple will issue a firmware update for the trackpad issue.

Apple or Verizon please decide who has to fix the problem

Can't manage account on ipad. Found this and seems to be my problem. How can I proceed if Apple says it is up to Verizon and Verizon says it is Apple who sold me a verizon ipad that has some internal software identifying it as a non-verizon ipad.:
There have been scattered reports of this issue with both Verizon and Sprint. Both of these carriers maintain databases of "approved" IMEIs---basically, of the devices that were sold as "for Verizon" or "for Sprint." It looks like a small number of devices aren't having their IMEIs added to the carrier's database properly.
This will eventually get sorted out on the production/carrier end, and the currently-affected devices might start working. However, I'd suggest simply exchanging your model for another Verizon iPad Air. The one you have is, in effect, defective.
As an aside, Verizon and Sprint really ought to get over themselves and just allow any iPad Air to activate on their network. If I bought an AT&T iPad, which has identical hardware to the Verizon iPad, why won't Verizon let me give them money to use it on their network?

I have read on Apple that the iPad Air w/retina display and its iPad mini are actually made to work interchangeable on carriers systems.
The web site stated a Sprint customer went into Verizon wireless where the sales person said the device cannot be activated on Verizon's network.
This customer stated Apple Airs can work on the network and said a simple Sim change out will prove his point.
The question you should ask is by what right does a carrier have to block a device designed to operate on different carriers by design, have that ability removed by the carrier?
In the article another user swapped out his Sim for a T-Mobile Sim from his Verizon iPad air. Cannot swear this was accurate. In the article it stated the id build number is what determines if its operable on more than one carrier.

Lightroom should recognize your camera (assume it's LR3 or later) automatically without pointing it to the DCIM directory. The files you are referring to is system file I think and not the photos; thus OS cannot read the file.
Do you have a card reader? For some reason, if you connect your camera into Lightroom directly, sometimes LR doesn't show the preview of your images. Instead you'll get ? next to a gray box. If you don't have a card reader, just plug your camera in, ignore the ? and the gray box (this is LR problem, not your camera), then import them anyway. You should see your test shot once it's done importing.

Is there ANYONE who has not had a problem with the 10.4.10 upgrade?

Just bought Ilife and it requires 10.4.9. I'm using 10.4.8. I can't seem to find any post with positive results. Is 10.4.10 that bad. Sorry is this is a double post. I did this about an hour ago and it never showed up.

I downloaded the upgrade via Software Update and I've had no problems, other than the sound issue. There was a work around that worked fine, then Apple fixed the problem and that download also worked fine for me.
I've become a believer in repairing permissions before, after and often software updates.
Running the cron scrips from Onxy often, and emptying my user/library/cache daily seems to be worthwhile too.
For what it's worth, my little 17" intel Imac keeps chuggin' along.

What kind of Maint do you do it (if any).

Mine was a refurbished unit that I bought in January(?) 2004. I was a bit nervous buying a 'used' system. But it proved unfounded. I remember visiting these forums in 04/05 and seeing lots of angry posts about DoA G5s and a laundry list of issues. But mine was completely rock solid from day one. It was a real work horse never had a single issue. Until last week. From what people are saying in and outside these forums. I suspect that it's only a matter of time before all or most G5s eventually fail with faulty logic boards or processors. At least let's say, I don't expect to see them still running in 10 years from now, like a lot of previous generation Macs do.

On my iPad, in iCal, whenever I attempt to go to March 2013 the application closes. I know of at least one other user who has the same problem. Has anyone else had the same experience

10.7 was horrible unstable so I waited until 10.7.1 and tried it again. Well I have to say that it is still a defective OS. I am reverting to Snow as we speak from my carbon clone copy.. This is really the worst OSX I have ever used. It gives me random Kernel panics for no reasons, unstable airport and hundreds of small issues that are just not necessary. For instance I can't use QuickTime in Lion to trim a videoclip ( the UI goes mad and the trimslider becomes inoperable and hangs the Player window ) while in Snow it is no problem. Itunes gives me crackling sound when the equalizer is turned on, Graphical glitches in Photoshop, games crashing, Preview.app not working with some pdfs, so I need Adobes reader which I never used before.. It is definately not ripe for mass usage. Might 10.7.2 or 10.7.3 fix it, but not yet.
* and just for the records : the hardware is absoltely ok. Because in Snow it works as it should. ( So many Lion fanbois are talking : "your Ram is defect", defintely NOT. - Lion is defect! ).

Hi, I have an iphone 4 with my itunes library on a Windows XP computer. My spouse (who has now passed away) had an itouch with an itunes library on an IMac. here is the problem, I bought an new iphone 6 and wanted to sync with my windows xp library and of course my itunes version is out of date and I need to update it...well I try and update the version and it will not update the Itunes library and when I researched it I would have to upgrade from XP to Windows 7...r they kidding me...first of all my computer is old and a pain in the *** but I have my itunes library on it. Sp to get my phone working I sync'd it on the IMac and my spouses Itunes library has been sync'd to my iphone and I don't know how to get my library on it...After thinking about it I want to combine the libraries after all there are some purchases on each one.
I have done some research and you have to buy a 3rd party piece of software...this is not the way I want to go...I do not think i should have to buy one and also when I do a goole search there are a ton of them out there and I am sorry i do not trust the comments as some of them do identify that they will get a kick back.

Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.
