Who is calling my 6230i?
I have just upgraded to a 6230i and there is no identification on incoming calls nor on missed calls. My son who is far more phone literate is having the same problem on his upgrade. Please help
Hmmmm......the people who have this problem always seem to be with Orange!
Have you tried registering on the website and changing it there? I know that with Vodafone you can do it that way.

Upgraded Iphone 4 now can no longer see who is calling while the phone is in use. I hear the beep but see nothing, also does not show in missed call.
If you are no longer getting a notification that there is a second call coming in, contact your carrier. It sounds as if there is an issue with call waiting.

I have recently had my iphone 5 not show who is calling on call waiting. The phone beeps but doesn't show the number / per son that is calling, won't let me click over and won't show who it was in my call history. Help very annoying.
1st go into your settings then tap phone to see if call waiting is turned on or off. If call waiting isOFF turn it ON. You can use also Apple article HT 4515. I would contact my wireless carrier reguarding the caller id not showing up and also with help reguarding your call waiting as well

The Elements 12 Mac disk works fine - I also have a Dell, and the Windows disk will not run at all, sounds like it's grinding, and is almost impossible to remove from the hard drive. I cannot find any place to tell me who to CALL to ask for a replacement!

You can use a download instead of the disk as an alternative: Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe you can license with your serial
Please test the disk in another windows machine to check if it's caused by the drive or the disk. If you tested with 2 drives please start a support case, i assume Adobe will only provide downloads at this point. They are the same as the trials. If you still need a disk you can burn the trial to a disk as a backup disk. Good luck! -
TS3406 How can I get the phone number of who is calling me when I am talking on another call?
I have looked everywhere trying to figure out how to look at my phone and see who is calling when I am on another call. All my other phones have done this automatically and this Iphone 5 is not doing it. I am afraid I have somthing turned off that shouldn't be. ANY HELP O
It will say "mobile" Home", etc under the name.
You can also tap the blue arrow and see the highlighted number.

No one from Apple here - we're just users like you. All I can tell you is that electronic fail and with MacBook Pros (and most notebooks) the components are so integrated as to make a repair to the logic board practically impossible, hence the high prices charged for repairs.
Only you can decide if you want to have your computer repaired or put the money towards the purchase of a new computer. If you do decide to purchase a new unit I would suggest that you also purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan which increases your warranty from one year to three years.

Nokia N8 Can not see who's calling / display won't...
Hi,
I have the problem that when I get a call my phone will ring but there is nothing seen onto the display.
When I use the unlock button on the side of the phone it unlocks and then I can see who's calling and take the call.
When I want to hang-up, the display stays off and I can't hang up. I need to use the button on the side again to activate the display and then hang up.
The same is with the alarm buzzer, I set my phone to wake me up in the morning.
When the alarm goes, I cannot turn it of directly.
I need to unlock the phone again with the button on the side of the phone and then I can press snooze or turn off alarm.
Does anyone has experience with this or has a solution?
It is a Nokia N8 got it now for 3 weeks and has the latest software on it.

JasperIf the phone is not functioning correctly, as already suggested, it should be returned to a Nokia Care Centre for repair under warranty !

Your bill should list any Verizon long distance calls and charges. I assume it is a local number you are looking for. If you have on- line access, go to "My Verizon", "My Bill". On the my bill page , you should see an option called, "custom reports". When you bring up the custom reports page, you will see a list of places you called. Click on the town/city and you will see a list of the telephone numbers you called. This works in my state, hope it helps you.

I think the N900 is a great phone except one big issue I have and it really annoys sometimes as I miss calls from it.
When I lock the phone to put it in my pocket or put it down ECT... I lock it with the flick switch and the end of the phone.
But when my phone starts ringing when receiving a call the screen in blank and I have to unlock the phone with that flick switch to see who’s calling, so by the time it starts ring, get it out my pocket, flick the switch, look who’s calling iv then missed the call near on most times....
Iv had the phone for a few months now is there an option? Or an app? To the screen unlocks itself when receiving a call?

PaulSounds like your proximity sensor is either faulty or blocked (top left when in landscape, just below front camera). The proximity sensor keeps the screen off/locked when the phone is in your pocket or a sleeve and a call comes through (to avoid accidentally answering the call before the phone is out of your pocket). If you have any screen protectors that are covering this sensor, it may affect the correct functionality of this sensor.

Yes, yes, yes. I am well aware about your line of Verizon is "THE Phone Company". Unfortunately, everyone was not subscribed to "THE Phone Company" back before "THE Phone Company" was broken up. Some people have lines which were not in existence and have never been subscribers to "THE Phone Company". There are new area codes and numbers since "THE Phone Company" was broken up. I was unaware Straight Talk, T-Mobile, Sprint, Time Warner Cable, MagicJack, etc... automatically provide ALL of the private information of their subscribers to "THE Phone Company" simply so these other companies can exist. I was unaware "THE Phone Company" required each and every phone provider in the US to gather information for the USER of a phone when that USER was not the account owner. I don't remember giving my 15 year old daughter's information to "THE Phone Company" when I opened up her line 5 years ago. Obviously I did, since "THE Phone Company" has it as you would lead us to believe. I wasn't aware "THE Phone Company" required someone opening an account with 10 lines to provide the private user information for each and every one of those lines. When I opened up my 4 line account, I only remember giving out MY information. I don't remember validating everyone on the account was related to me. I don't remember giving out the names/DOB/SS #/etc... for everyone using the phones on my account. That information must have simply slipped my mind.
For what it is worth, I never said they didn't have information on "every single number coming and going" thru their system. That is not the information being requested, though. The OP wants to know the name of the person making the call. If Verizon, aka "THE Phone Company" does not gather information on all users of a 10 line More Everything account from the account owner, where exactly are they getting this information. Furthermore, if they don't even gather this information of their own subscribers, why would you expect they have this information on the subscribers to other phone providers? It is not required to open a 10 line account. They do not run credit checks on all the users. They do not require SS#s on all of the users. They only require this information on the account owner. Are they staking out the account owner and following him/her to determine who is using the phones on his/her account? I guess I am simply too trusting.
You speak of "back in the way old days". Well these are no longer the "way old days". Lines on an account can be scattered all over the US. The users of these phones aren't necessarily and more often every day not even related. "THE Phone Company" doesn't necessarily and is UNLIKELY to know the identity of the majority of people using phones on an account. The account owner, yes. Everyone else, NO. People making a call are just as likely using an area code/phone number of a location they don't even physically reside. "Back in the way old days" this was much less commonplace.
Yes, they MAY be able to get the name of a caller, but it would take time and COULD take a considerable amount of time depending on the cooperation of the account owner. -
Nokia 6300 identify who is calling me
Please help me. What do I do to ensure I can identify who is calling me when my phone rings. At the moment all that appears on my screen is "calling" even if it is someone calling whom I have in my contacts list. I waNT TO SEE THE NAME OF THE INWARD CALLER ON MY DISPLAY

If you see only 'CALL' when you receive a phone then most probably its an Operator issue. Check with your operator whether the Caller ID sevice is active ?

No worries, DaveK3131. You can enjoy the readout function on your Note 4 as well! Go into Settings > Language and Input > Read Notifications Aloud to manage your preferences.
