Who is current log in to LiveCycle system

Hi,
It would be helpful for the system admin to have an option to see who is currently log in to the LiveCycle system such as workspace, workbench, and/or adminui.
Thanks,
Han Dao

Han,
Thanks for your suggestion - I will log it as an enhancement request.

  • How to see who are currently logged in the system through in EP

    hi,
I want to see , who are currently logged in the system through in EP  , like al08 or sm04 in r3.
    Please guide me

    Hi,
Portal activity reports will help you in getting all the user details who are logged on to the portal.
Portal activity reports help you which page or iview the users visited.
There may be many content in the portal. But the monitoring people mainly wants what content people are mostly visiting. This can help them to update that content frequently. Not only that the content people are not visiting can be made more attractive or it can be removed also.
using portal activity you will not get what content the user is accessed, but you can get the what content(iview/page) most users are visiting.

  • HFM view who is currently logged in

I'm an administrator in Hyperion version 11.1.2.2 which includes HFM. We're in the process of upgrading to it from version 9.3.3.
In 11.1.2.2, How do I tell who is currently logged into an HFM application. In version 9 HFM, we would select Administration > Users in System from inside the HFM application and it would show who is logged in.

    In Workspace
    Navigate, Consolidation Administration
    Expand the System Tab,
    Select "users"

  • How to get the names of people currently logged into the system?

    Hi,
How do we get the names of people who are currently logged in to the system at any point of time...i know that we can get the history of people logged in using "wwv_flow_user_activity_log" but is there a way to know who are the currently logged in people ...
    regards

    hi Sergio,
well that might not work correct all times as some user might have logged in and logged out but the log file will still contain his name...The primary reason why we want to know this is , say suddenly we want to bring down our application for maintainnace purposes, so incase if any body is logged in at that time we want to send them mails that the system is going to be taken down in next 30 mins so and stuff....
Is there any other alternative ...

  • How to Display a List of Users Currently Logged On to Domain

    Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.
I had a snap-in in Windows Server 2003 that allowed me to see who was currently logged onto the domain.  How can I do this in Windows Server 2008 R2?  I am the administrator, so there is no privilege issue.  Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
If you want to list current logon users from all servers in a domain, I’m afraid there is no existing tool from Microsoft to support you do that. However, you can use LsaEnumerateLogonSessions
    API like
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa375400(v=vs.85).aspx to enumerate all logon sessions on the clients and gather all information together to achieve your target.
If you want to find out who is logged on to a specific terminal server, there are four methods:
    1. check event log
    2. write some PowerShell scripts as:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff730963.aspx
    http://learn-powershell.net/2010/11/01/quick-hit-find-currently-logged-on-users/
    3. use WMI&VBScript as:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/alejacma/archive/2008/03/04/how-to-get-the-logged-on-user-with-wmi-vbscript.aspx
    4. use some third-party tools like others suggested.
In addition, here is another thread who used scripts to realize this for your reference:

  • How can I get the username of the person currently logged in?

I have built a custom authentication scheme and I am building a form page and I would like to show the username of the person who is currently logged in? How can I do this......

Use the <tt>APP_USER</tt> built-in substitution string.
This value can be referenced in various ways, including the static text exact substitution method <tt>&APP_USER.</tt> which can be used in page and region templates to display the current user name.

  • Current Logged On User

What I am needing to do is create a file with a name based on the currently logged on user in order to store some logging data.  I am using the single sign on method with the connection context cookie.  Is there a way to determine who is currently logged on with this method?  I am not interested in passwords, just the current logged on user.
    Thank You,
    Greg Johnson

The company object in both the UI and DI have a UserName property that will contain the name of the currently logged in user.

  • Retrieve list of all subject currently logged in?

How can get a list of all subjects that have a session in WL
    on the fly?

    hiii
how can i fetch a list of all the users who are
currently logged on the network...Easy, nobody logs onto the network so this is always nobody.
You may be asking, how do I determine all the users who have logged in to all the PCs on the network.
Write a program which is added to each user's Startup a program which updates the database with their details. If you have network scripts, this can be added to the user' network login batch script.

  • How to keep track of the users who are all currently logged in

    Hi All,
I have basic knowledge of Session and Servlets. I am wondering how to keep track of the users who are all currently logged in. There should be some way of achieving it.
I thought of it and come up with having an Application variable that hold it when ever a user successfully logged in.
Thanks in advance for any reply.

You can do this by keeping data in a static veriable in a some class of yours. The variable will need to be a collection.
Whenever a user loogs in to the site a servlet/jsp should put the users information in to the collection and when logs off or when the session expires the entry should be take off.
You can achive this by storing the velues in a some sort of a week collection where the entries are automaticaly removed when all the other refferences to the entry goes out of scope.
You might need to read bit about java.lang.ref package and WeekReference
Or you can make the entry in the collection contain the last time that the user visited any of the pages and a thread can run time to time and clean up the older entries which have timed out

  • File system task - Move file issue, skip the current log file thats open by another process - IIS logs

    Hi,
I have created a package to move IIS log files from their source directory to another directory called processing. However, when the package tries to move the current log file it errors because the file is in use by another process (by IIS as its still writing
to it). I would like the package to just ignore the "in-use" file and process the rest and show the package completing successfully. The file in use will be rolled by IIS at midnight and the file will be picked up by the next package run.
However, when the file is rolled and becomes free a new log file is created which will be marked as "in-use"...... which should be ignored at the next run.
Is there some way that I can tell the file system task to ignore in use files or add an event handler to do the same sort of thing?
    Any assistance is appreciated

    Hi Arthur,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have resolved the issue with the following example:
    http://www.timmitchell.net/post/2010/08/23/ssis-conditional-file-processing-in-a-foreach-loop/
What I realised was that I needed to just ignore the current log file which gets created daily, so using the above example (and changing the last written date to created date) I am able to ignore/skip the log thats in use.

  • KM Search: How can I define a query for the user who currently logged on?

    Hello,
I want to use the KM Search iView to display all documents from the currently logged on user in a certain sort order. The result should be some kind of report for the user...
In the search option I can define a default sort order. And I can also define it for a special user with cm_modifiedby(value=username)
But how can I define the predefined property value generically for the current user?
I tried to insert following values in the parameter Predefined Properties of the search option:
    Predefined Properties (csv): cm_modifiedby(value=<user.id>)
Predefined Properties (csv): cm_modifiedby(value=%user.id%) -> like in the predefined properties
Predefined Properties (csv): cm_modifiedby(value=$sap_user) -> like in the xml forms builder
But non of these 3 parameters worked. Has anybody an idea what the right variable is?
    Thanks a lot.
    Best regards
    Nicole

    Hi Nicole,
    1. First of all you need to use "<User.UserID>" to get the currently logged on user.
    2. You need to create an AppIntegrator iView (so based on com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.Generic) in order to be able to use this dynamical parameter. The parameter "URL template" should look like:
    <Request.Protocol>://<Request.Server>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.basicsearch?layoutSetMode=exclusive&ResourceListType=com.sapportals.wcm.SearchResultList&SearchType=quick&rndLayoutSet=SearchResultLayoutSet&SearchCompsName=UISearchComponents&QueryString=*&SelectedCustomProps=cm_modifiedby(value=<User.UserID>)
    Best regards,

    Hi,
Is there an option in CMC that gives the list of concurrent users currently logged on into the Infoview? I have CR server XI and Settings in CMC currently just gives the number of users logged in. I am using Enterprise security for the users. How can I get the list of users logged in?
    Appreciate your help.

The quickest way to see who is logged in is to go to the CMC, then click on Servers, then click on the .cms entry (it's the second one down on the list for my system).  When you click on the cms link on the next page should be a list of users currently logged in (including you the administrator).
