Who is on my wifi list?

Hello everyone
I have been looking at who is conneted to my wifi and im not sure about a few things.
In the home hub mangement page I have listed the devices that are connected to the network.
My sisters computer and my playstation 3 show up, this is normal but my computer that i am writing this with does not.
I do have an unkown device with out an adresse Unknown-C8-BC-C8-ect etc.
Is this some one on my network or is it me?
Either way its not very clear.
Any help would be great

That is a MAC address most likely your own PC as no one can connect to your wireless network unless they have your wireless security code or they are wired into your hub by ethernet cable

While deploying the SharePoint Hosted App I am facing the issue  'Uninstall app for SharePoint': Only users who can View Pages can list Apps"
    - Provided the permissions for App Management and Subscription Services as well as DB.
    - Added into Host web as SC Administrator
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
The user you are running with Visual Studio should have read permission on the pages of SharePoint web you are trying to deploying your app.
I suggest you add the login user to the SharePoint web in the “Site Settings”->”People and Group”.

My Mac Mini (Mid 2011) doesn't connect to Time Capsule in 5GHz Network. This WiFi Network don't appear in the WiFi list. What's Wrong?

Oh yes, & 5 GHz doesn't do walls very well at all.
    GHz and Network Range
The higher the frequency of a wireless signal, the shorter its range. Thus, 2.4 GHz networks cover a substantially larger range than 5 GHz wireless networks. In particular, the higher frequency wireless signals of 5 GHz networks do not penetrate solid objects nearly as well as do 2.4 GHz signals, limiting their reach inside homes.

  • Can i see who is using my wifi

can i see who is using my wifi????

We can't help you, you will need to call a local PC/Mac tech to come in and secure your network, likely they will recommend a newer faster router that has better security and fresher firmware updates.
Plus they can set your routers channel(s) to be far away from others in the area that might be causing your problems.
It's a shame but a lot of the older routers were shipped to be easy to set up by the user, but are severly lacking in security so anyone in the neighborhood can use it or hack it.
Print out my guide and ask the comptuer tech to apply those strick standards to your router or new one, you'll be secure after that.
Even the Comcast router/modems are insecure now despite enabling WPA2(AES) because they don't use enough random characters and only numbers, which is easy to crack on any computer with a decent graphics card.
It would take a massive botnet several hundred years to brute force my network.

Hi folks, you might know how to fix this: my wifi shows (no hardware installed) then I went to system preferences and deleted the wifi connection, I went also to system information and I can not see wifi listed on Network, how can I create a new wifi or simply solve this, I have tryied shotdown pressing keys like P and R, option, etc. Please help me .

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Printer name appearing on my wifi list

Lately, I've seen that my printer's name is appearing on my wifi list. What is the password ? Does it even work? What does it do ?

Sounds like you have Wireless Direct enabled in the printer.   This needs to be disabled and the printers SSID will no longer be visible.  Read your manual to see how this is done.

  • How do i find who is using my wifi?

I had a day this month where almost 28gb was used of my download and can't epxlain it, how do i find out who uses my wifi?

You cannot see that readily from your Mac, but you should be able to tell by logging into your wifi router.  It likely uses a web page for administration, and from that, you should be able to find a list of all connected devices.  To see actual activity, you may need to access or enable logging, if your router supports it.
Check your router's manual for how to access those sorts of admin features.

  • Who is on my WiFi network?

    Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
Assuming that AirPort Utility for Windows is sufficiently similar to the version for Mac, launch that program, enter "manual setup" mode for your AirPort Extreme, select the "Advanced" pane, then click on the "Logs and Statistics" button. In the resulting window you can see "Wireless Clients" under that tab and "DHCP Clients" under that tab. The "DHCP Clients" list may not show computers that are using a static IP address.

  • How do you delete un-necessary networks from wifi list?

On my Droid 2, I go to
    Settings/Wireless & networks/Wi-Fi settings/Manage Networks (at bottom of list).
On that screen it says "To conserve battery, delete un-necessary networks from the list."
Great advice -- but how do you do it?
I went back to the Wi-Fi settings screen; long press on an unwanted network -- the only choice is "Connect to Network".
I powered off the phone.  Waited awhile.  Powered back on.  Same result.  I have the latest Motorola maint applied.
    Any ideas?

I have provided some steps below to remove networks from the network list.
1.From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
    2.Touch Settings.
    3.Touch Wireless & networks.
    4. Touch Wi-Fi settings.
    5. Touch Manage Networks.
    6. Touch and hold the appropriate WiFi network.
    7. Touch Forget network.

  • Who's in a mailing list?

Forgive me if this is answered in the documentation....
Who is included in the mailing list for a group?
For a Public group I guess it's those who are given permission to write, but what about a private group?
Is it both those who have read and read/write permissions or is it ONLY those who have read/write permission?
    Ta.
    B

Tim is correct with one rider. If you add a group to the list it will unpack the group membership EXCEPT where the users are members by virtue of it being their primary group.
Therefore, you can give read and/or write permission to a large group of individuals without including them in the mailing list.
Note, Apple defaults to putting everyone into GUID 20. So you have to make changes to the users if you want any selectivity, but it works.

  • Who is using my wifi signal?

How can I tell who -- if anyone -- is using my wifi?
Yes, I created a "closed network", so in theory nobody should be able to join my network since they can't see that it exists. But I'd still like to check.
Is there some widget or some software download or utility?
    (p.s. -- I only own/use/undertand Apple & Mac products, so please don't suggest anything PC-related. And I don't speak "Console". Thanks!)

hey hey, you forgot option #4
a FREE AND LEGAL download of Airport Utility DIRECT from Apple. I just found it.
It's called AirPort Utility 5.3.1 for Tiger
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/application_updates/airportutility53 1fortiger.html
Thank you for your help. I just installed and it works well.
(And buy the way, not upgrading to Leopard has absolutely nothing to do with money. It's because I professionally use programs such as Final Cut Pro and Avid that are not stable (or even working) yet in Leopard. Heck, a bunch of programs don't even suggest taking your Quicktime beyond 7.3.1 . And since my computer had a meltdown with Quicktime 7.4 last year, as did many other people on these forums, I like to stay one full version behind on all software. I leave the "beta testing" to others. Okay, end of my non-sequitor).
