Keep in mind that the Emoji keyboard uses an Apple font. It doesn't always play well with non-Apple devices, Using Emoji when sending a text to an iPhone user can result in weird characters. You're better off using real emoticons:
smile :-)
wink ;-)
And so forth. Android phones will convert them into the proper cutsey symbols.

I attached a SubVI which I used to place an overlay next to a Pattern, found by a Pattern Match before:
As you can see, you simply pass the image reference and the Array of Matches to the VI along with the String you want to have as an overlay next to the Match.
I also modified your VI a bit, but didn't test it. I created an Array of clusters, each elment containing the template path along with the respective text.
Please note that this is just a hint!

Thanks. I've tried this and apparently the template I'm using is one of those where it doesn't work. I've tried dragging it as well as cutting a pasting but it always travels back to the end of the book. Maybe I can try changing the template temporarily, move the preface page, and then convert back to the original template. I'll experiment a little.

If by delete you really mean clear the contents of a cell, then just click once on the cell and hit the 'delete' button.

In some circumstances you can actually delete one cell.

So it's not strictly true that Numbers does not delete one cell, ever. It can if you have a one-column table.

Does anyone know how to simply edit the text in the spine of hard cover, 40 page book in the book module? I can click into any other text window and edit and change attributes but I am locked out of editing text when it comes to the spine of the book. I spoke to Blurb support and they referred me to Adobe. I spent 45 minutes with support here - no one knew. I am still waiting for a call back with an answer... not holding my breath as it's been a few hours now. HELP!!!

I have experienced all the fiddly aspects you mentioned - these are attributes and although changing them requires the skill of a surgeon's hand - it's the actual editing of the text I can't seem to access anymore. The box just won't allow me to do anything except change attributes. Does that make sense? And it's only on the spine where I am having this issue. Puzzled! I have even rebooted the program and just now the computer - to no avail.

The answer to your question depends on what you ant to do with the DVD.
Do you want a DVD menu, slide show etc.
iPhoto will allow you to burn straight to a DVD. Just select the album you want to burn then go to share in the tool bar and select Burn.

Andy's reply will show you how to make a table scroll horizontally, but it will be tough to accomplish it in some sort of easily replicable way. I am working on a JQuery extension that will help accomplish this, but I have had my time invested in another project at the moment.

This is the correct behavior. When you play a song, the play count and last played time gets updated. When you resync the iPod, the track gets copied to the iPod to update these new changed fields.
There is no fix for this, this is what it is supposed to do.

Thanks for your prompt response, however I have first seen it now. I have placed an active SIM card in the iPhone turned it off and on. It now says SIM locked, please write access code. The problem is I don't remember the password. When I connect it to iTunes it tell me that I have to write the password before it can be used with iTunes...... Do you have any good ideas? When printing vector objects from Illustrator, they look like graphics from dandy (8 bits) ... no smooth, all cubes ... if do raster than print perfectly. Who knows how to treat it? No well to rasterize vector before each printing. OS - MacOs 10.10.

Have you read the User's Guide for that printer? Odds are you will get reasonable prints. However, it is a photographic printer. That said, it should print excellent quality photographic files. To get smooth lines in Illustrator, try Preferences > Use Anti-Aliased Artwork. That will smoothen the output. If, for some reason, that does not work, try Print > Save As PDF > open PDF in Reader and print from there. Check the User's Guide for media sizes available for your particular printer. Setup your artboard to the size page you want the image to print on. Use View > Show Page Tiling ( to see where the page's printable area lies. Align the page with the artboard using the Page tool.

Well, if you go to Phone, you'll see a contacts tab there on the bottom of the screen. It's also possible that it's in a Utilities folder on your home screen.
