Who's been using photoshop since v.3?

Question

HI ALL! i'm actually looking for long time photoshop users since v.3 or 4 onwards!
i recall that in one of the versions, there was a function that helps u make a collage.
it allows u to choose a few photos of your choice, let u re-arrange them in the pop up window, while they auto blend the edges.
anybody rmb anything like that? can anyone tell me what function it was or maybe what version it is?
i know this is very difficult to remember but this is very important to me! pls help! thank you! <3

Up until about v 4, registration was done via FAX. Prior to v 4, it was done by mailing in a card. Even FAX's were not THAT common.
For many versions, the only "Adobe Forum" was NNTP via a Usenet reader (think of a time, just after ARPANET), as HTTP was still in the future.
Do not recall when download versions became available, as other than Flash Player, I have never downloaded any Adobe program (except for some betas). I always went with the media.
Someone upthread mentioned Aldus PhotoStyler. When Adobe bought much of Aldus, PhotoStyler did not figure into the deal. The folk behnd it went on to form Ulead, and soon came out with PhotoImpact, which is still a good JPEG viewer. Later versions, added back some of the PS/PhotoStyler editing functions, but the older version was cleaner, leaner and I also had PS, so never needed the editing enhancements. Think I have two later versions of PhotoImpact, but only had either installed for a short stint, until I reverted. I still have that early Ulead program on both my workstation and my laptop.
Though I had zero involvement, my mother helped install and activate the first UNIVAC for the US Air Force at Keesler AFB. It started out with perf. paper tape, then perf cards came into being. At some point, an impact printer became available, but I did not see the unit after magnetic storage was introduced. Noel has me, but I did get to see earlier units. Now, I did have a Wang smart monitor/console unit, when we accessed the ARPANET from Union Carbide. It was about that time, that text-based adventure games began. It gave the engineers something to do, until one of the only 50 other people on ARPANET found the post, and answered it.
