Who's the boss

I have an ibook g4, a motorola razor and a blackberry. When I sync them together how do I let them know who's boss? Usually the ibook or the blackberry have the most recent info. I don't want the phone to override the others. Is there a setting for that?

Actually, no one is the boss. All applications, devices and servers are nominally peers in the Sync Services framework, despite the fact that they are frequently referred to as sync 'clients' and records pushed to and pulled from the truth database have parent-child relationships.
While the parent-child paradigm is applicable to traditional client-server relationships, it's not really applicable to the Sync Services framework, where all of the visible 'clients' are really peers, and where the invisible 'truth database' is the equivalent, to some degree, of a server. Individual applications, devices and servers—collectively referred to as sync clients—are called to the party, so to speak, based upon changes each contributes to the truth. If your mobile handset contains one or more records which are added to, deleted from or modified on your handset at any point in time, these changes are pushed to the truth when your iSync next synchronizes this device.
Subsequent synchronization activities result in these changes being pulled from the truth to applications (like iCal and the Address Book) or other devices (like an iPod via iTunes) or a server (like the .Mac servers via .Mac Sync) when these clients engage the truth, and they will likewise push any changes they hold back to the truth.
You cannot control this behavior, except to the degree that you make changes on individual devices, in applications and at .Mac, or by selecting options to synchronize which are available with each client. Inevitably, to the degree that each can pass information to the truth and pull from it, everything you do anywhere is reflected everywhere. You cannot designate a specific client to always remain unchanged, and drive changes elsewhere.

Shared calendars are working, but have suddenly started prompting for login info of user who shared the calendar

My boss started having this problem this morning. It may possibly be due to an update. The calendars appear to still be working fine (not 100% sure they're
getting new updates) and I've tried deleting them and re-adding them and the problem persists. Outlook will pop up the Security prompt asking for login credentials, with the username of the person whose calendar is shared pre-filled in the user name section.
If you click cancel everything continues to work but it prompts you again in a few minutes.
These calendars have previously worked perfectly with no issues.

Please confirm if there is any changes in Shared calendar account and your boss mailbox.
Since the issue occurs after the update in your Boss's computer, please reboot the local machine. And recreate the Outlook profile to have a try. About opening shared calendar in new profile, please open the shared calendar by the following steps:
1. Switch to Calendar pane.
2. Click Open Calendar > Open Shared Calendar.
3. Click Name to select the user who shared the calendar to this user.
4. Then click OK to open the Calendar.
Check whether there is any error when open it. If there is any permission error, please check the folder permission in shared user side.

How to find out list user who did the printing

Dear All,
We are using network print server using HP LaserJet 5550 and jetdirect, since our number of users is more than 500 staff in one place, sometimes they do the unresponsible printing such as print full color photos for personal use, print a novel and anything that not related to the business purpose.
Today, our director found out that someone print out a whole story book and spend a lot of paper... he challenge me to find out who is the user who did this? I can log on to the printer web console, but I can't find user log printing...
Any help will be much appreciated.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

You can get the ProjectModifiedDate column in MSP_EPMProject_userView in the Reporting DB where you can
get the data based on the projectUID.
The "last saved" date in the draft DB (be aware that querying in the draft DB is not supported by MS).
For the "last modified by", I think it is not stored in any place.
But you can develop custom code upon publishing the project (Event BeforePublish), writing the current
date and username automatically into a custom enterprise field.

I just purchased an I pad mini and when I send an email a get the message "a copy has been placed in the outbox. Recipient was rejected by the Server. I do not know what that means. Who is the server. Why are the emails not sent?

Who is the server?

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

You don't transfer Apple ID's from one device to another one. You sign out in the settings, )the App Store and iTunes if necessary) and then sign in with the other ID.
Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID>Sign out. Them sign in with the other ID. You can sign out of the app store and iTunes as well by going to the featured Atab in the App Store and the music tab in iTunes, swipe to the bottom and access the Apple ID in there.
You should have erased the iOad before you gave it to her in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. That way she could set up the iPad as new with her own Apple ID.
Be aware of the fact that if you use each others ID's in order to download past purchased content to your own iPads, you will lock yourself out of your own ID as you will have associated your iPad with the other person's Apple ID.
In other words, if you sign into your wife's ID on your iPad so that you can download an app or an album so that you don't have to pay for it again, you will lock yourself out of your Apple ID for 90 days.

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

to figure out which users have administrative privileges, open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences; each user other than the Guest User will be shown with a description of either “Admin” or “Standard”. It’s typical for the first user created on a Mac to be an administrative user.

sometimes our user complain that, when he tyring to make a transaction to a specific customer's Account
its says 'Some other user access the same account, keep trying...' (like this).
and in this response I just kill that user's session. then he can make the transaction by reconnecting.
sometimes my solution(killing the session) can not slove this problem.it stayed even 5/6 hours long.

Just check with this query, find the lock and kill the session.

It is stored as a relationship in HRP1001 & unless you have table logging turned on for this db table, I don't think you will be able to find out who deleted the Central Person. You can try running the Report RHCDOC_DISPLAY .
